[Y/N] YAWNS LOUDLY, TRUDGING herself to the sung's family kitchen. still very tired from the little sleep she got and for the fact, her body isn't used to the difference in time zones

jin-woo was already sitting down having breakfast. he takes another bite and glances up, holding in a laugh at his friend's bed hair.

"nice hair." he taunts as he watches her open the fridge.

she doesn't bother to look at him. "put a sock in it sung." she retorts grabbing the milk carton so she can have some cereal.

he chuckles taking another bite of his food. "oh yeah, jin-ah left you something in her room. she said she bought it for you and won't take no for an answer." he mentions as [y/n] sits down with a cereal bowl in hand.

"i already feel bad for taking your room and i'm gonna even feel worse that she spent money on me." she grumbles, taking a spoonful of cereal.

"what did i say to you last night?"

"...that you're my friend?"

"exactly. so no excuses."

the [h/c] haired hunter groans in annoyance. "dude, spare me the pain and let me have the couch. if your back starts hurting i don't think i'll be able to forgive myself."

jin-woo ignores her and lightly flicks her forehead but it doesn't hurt her. "i don't care." he retorts.

"you're impossible." she huffs, taking another spoonful of cereal.

he scoffs at her claim. "i could say the same to you." he replies.

yeah, they're best friends.

[E/C] EYES SCAN the plastic bag that was left in jin-ha's room, apparently gifted by the young girl to [y/n].

she takes a peek inside and her face lights up. she scrambles to lean out of the door to shout down the hall. "woo! tell jin-ah i love her so much and that i owe her a bucket of fried chicken!"

jin-woo, who was sitting on the couch scrolling through his phone was visibly confused about what his sister bought for his friend.

to be blunt, she bought her undergarments.

THE TWO PLAYERS stood outside of their apartment complex to meet a boy younger than them, jin-ho

jin-woo sweatdrops at him and his need to be extra with his armor. "you took a cab with those? i was planning on picking you up." he mumbles while [y/n] stifles her laughter.

she wore a plain white shirt and black joggers that were both jin-woo's and she put her [h/l] hair in a style that wouldn't bother her for today's raid. for jin-woo, he wore a plain red sweatshirt and adidas sweats.

[y/n] clears her throat and waves at the young adult. "nice to meet you, i'm hunter [y/n] [l/n]!" she greets causing jin-ho to be caught off guard.

he feels his cheeks heat up as he gets a good look at the female hunter. 'where did hyung-nim meet her? she's very pretty and her korean is practically flawless.'

"it's a pleasure to meet you! i'm yoo jin-ho!" he greets back with a bashful smile.

THE TWO PLAYERS sat in the back while jin-ho drove the van.

"so what did she buy you?" jin-woo asks glancing at [y/n] who scrolled through her phone.

she scoffs at his question and doesn't look up. "as if i tell you, it's a trade secret."

he pinches her cheek harshly. "tell me." he demands as she whines at how hard he's pinching her.

"hell no! it's girl stuff, unless you wanna face with the consequences!" she retorts, shoving his hand away.

"i let you borrow my clothes! the
best you can do is tell me!"

"oi?! you threatening me right now?"

jin-ho was silent listening with furrowed eyebrows. 'he's able to hold a casual conversation with her and tease her? she's borrowing his clothes as well? do hyung-nim and miss [y/n] have a deep relationship?'

he's taken out of his thoughts when jinwoo tells him to stop here. the brunette hunter turns his head around as the female hunter opens the van door to get out.

"i'll get the kid, woo. you two wait here." [y/n] states, lightly pinching her friend's cheek as payback.

he pays no mind to her action as he watches her walk out and enter the building.

with shaky eyes, jin-ho turns to jinwoo. "hyung-nim do i have to start calling miss [y/n] as a sister in law from now on?"

the dark haired male makes a face at his friend. "what? no, she's my friend and she's living with me and my sister. song-i is just a friend of my sister's." he explains with a raised eyebrow.

a few minutes later, [y/n] comes back with a very nicely dressed song-i beside her. instead of her usual hoodie, she wore more casual and bright clothes, a white long-sleeved shirt and a green vest along with jeans.

"good morning oppa and raid captain!" she greeted cheerfully entering the car with her unnie behind her.

"ah, hello!" jin-ho greets back with a smile.

as they settle themselves in the back, with song-i in the middle, the two players starting talking with the girl

"did you get any sleep last night, kid?" [y/n] questions with a big sister-like tone.

"i was unable to get some sleep," she answers with a smile.

"you must be tired. get some rest in the car." jin-woo adds with his friend agreeing.

"how about you, oppa? unnie?"

"just a quick nap. it was already
past 4 am when i got back home."

"same here, i crashed when i hit the bed.

jin-ho's face turned horrified as he listens to them and replays the words in his mind. 'night? unable to sleep? tired? they got home at 4 am? and he said she was just a friend of his sister...!'

"uhm, hyung-nim?" jin-ho calls keeping his eyes on the road.

"yeah?" he replies, as he looked at jin-ho while the girls keep talking.

"han song-i is a minor."

"and?" jin-woo retorts, clearly face clueless at what his hunter friend was getting at.

"...nevermind." jin-ho mumbles, dropping the topic.

'he's not normal. i shouldn't judge hyung-nim with my ordinary standards...' he thinks with a sweat

"let's hurry and finish it up," jin-woo states, as the other three hunters get fired up.

"hell yeah!

"yes, hyung-nim!"

"yes oppa!"

SOUNDS OF FIGHTING echo against the walls of the cave.

"h... h-hyung-nim. miss [y/n]." jin-ho mutter with a shocked face, not believing what he was seeing.

"WHAT ARE THESE GUYS?"

he shouts as he watches [y/n] and jin-woo's soldiers fight the monster in the gate with ease.

"it's our skill." the male player answers calmly while the other nods.

"you can summon these guys with a skill?!" he exclaims, still in disbelief.

[y/n] stifles a snicker and gazes at him. "it's a bit complicated to explain, but it's convenient. they can hunt for us. they can also do chores!" she states, gesturing to irgis and icarus swiftly taking down monsters and to a small group of their soldiers mining.

suddenly icarus taps her shoulder, making the [h/c] haired hunter look up at him with curious eyes. he motions to follow him and she does.

jin-ho sulks at the mining team. "hyung-nim... can i at least collect the magic crystals?" he asks with a frown.

"why?" jin-woo replies with a tilt of his head.

the brunette huffs. "i feel like i have lost my place." he conveys.

jin-woo looks at his hunter friend with a small smile. 'he really is amusing.'

he lets him join the mining team, ordering his shadows and [y/n]'s knights to be kind to him.

speaking of which, she was with her knight. jin-woo looks over and he's surprised at what he's seeing. icarus was giving [y/n] tips on her fighting stance with irgis watching over them.

her bright [e/c] eyes lock with his. he silently gestures to what's happening and she shrugs her shoulders. as icarus fixes her fighting stand when [y/n] uses her dagger.

'this is unexpectedly a cute sight...' he notes, watching at how his friend was play fighting with irgis, obviously trying not to harm her.

he looks back at his other friend with the mining team. 'with this, raids with jin-ho should be finished tomorrow...'

AND THE NEXT DAY.

THE PROMISE WITH JIN-HO TO CLEAR 19 RAIDS HAS FINISHED.

"I'M SORRY HYUNG-NIM. i wanted to take you to somewhere more luxurious for our last time." jin-ho mumbles, as the two men sit together at a casual restaurant.

jin-ah had dragged [y/n] with her to go shopping, it was a chance for her to get some new clothes seeing as she's been living with jinwoo's since she's gotten here.

he was already preparing himself for how much his pockets are gonna hurt.

"no, i'm rather worried that this doesn't suit the taste of a young master from a rich household." jin-woo argues, as he ignores the system notifications of his body getting detoxed.

he raises his soju glass to jin-ho's glass. "what do you plan on doing from now on? since the raids are over." he asks the d-rank hunter.

he begins to explain that he'll report the work to his father and that it won't be long until he gets his guild master license from the hunter's association.

'it's nice to receive a 30 billion builiding, but that's just a bonus. my real goal was to level up. [y/n] even got to level up a bit too because of it.' jin-woo thinks taking a glance at his stats

"WHAT WILL HYUNG-NIM do from now on?" jin-ho asks, stuffing his face with food.

jin-woo held a dungeon key, that he got cause he killed a monster in his early days of training. he planned to take [y/n] with him, since she faced a mystical nine-tailed fox instead of the three head hound.

"i will be out of contact for a while. there's somewhere i have to go." he explains and a frown appears on jin-ho's face.

he chugs his soju glass. "hyung-nim, if i'm a bother to you, please let me know. i won't bother you anymore." he assures, thinking the male player wanted nothing to do with him anymore.

'did he misunderstand me in a weird way, again? it reminds me when [y/n] asked that question about how she thought i wasn't gonna keep her around...' jin-woo thinks with furrowed eyebrows.

"jin-ho."

"yes, hyung-nim."

"what am i to you?"

jin-ho face turns sad and averts his gaze. "i have an older brother who is about 10 years older than i am. he doesn't like me, so we haven't spent a lot of time together." he starts and this catches jin-woo's attention.

"by comparison hyung-nim is someone who has saved my life and also helped out with my problem. to me, hyung-nim is more like a brother than my real brother." he confesses and the dark-haired hunter's eyes widened.

but then his eyes soften and he smiles. "if that's how you think about me, i will consider you as my younger brother." he states raising his soju bottle.

jin-ho reasonable bursts into tears. "hyung-nim! can i hug you??" he asks through his tears.

"hey, hey! you're drunk!" jin-woo states raising his arms in defense. but obviously, the low rank hunter doesn't listen to him and goes to hug his arm.

"no, hyung-nim! i have never been more awake!" he argues, continuing to hug his arm.

jin-woo shakes his head in disbelief. "hah... he really is something else." he mumbles.

he then pays attention to the news coverage on the t.v above him. baek yoon-ho was being interviewed about the recent incident with the red gate. denying the claims of outside parties being involved.

'IS THAT ABOUT ME AND [Y/N]?'

JIN-WOO ARRIVES HOME with a huff. noting the shoes by the doorway.

"I'M HOME!"

he calls and he soon hears a patter of feet. "oppa! you're here!" jin-ah exclaims, appearing from the hallway with a smile.

he looks at her with her a deadpan, rubbing the bridge between his eyes, and sighs. "okay, show how much you spent." he points out as his sister gave a not-so-innocent grin.

"jin-woo, i am so sorry." [y/n] voice joins in as appears from the hallway, revealing to be wearing one of the many clothes jin-ah had gotten for her.

jin-woo takes a good look at her, approaching her as he scans the outfit.

"you look good." he complements and [y/n] blinks in surprise not expecting that response.

jin-ah squeal in delight, agreeing. "right!? light and dark colors look really nice on her! and this is just one of them!" he explains, making the [h/c] haired hunter chuckle nervously.

the young girl runs back to bring out more outfits leaving the two alone.

the female player faces her friend with a sweat. "jin-woo, i am so sorry, she went above and beyond with my outfits." she explains doing a curt bow.

he ruffles her hair, affectionately. "don't worry about it. take it as a gift from us to you." he states, making her stare at him.

"thanks jin-woo, your kindness surprises me every day." she says with a small smile.

"ALSO I HAVE QUESTION FOR YOU..."

THE NEXT DAY, jin-woo and [y/n] got ready to leave. taking bags with them.

"how long are guys gonna be gone for?" jin-ah asks from behind tying her hair up.

jin-woo turns to look at his little sister as he throws his bag over his shoulder. "for about week." he replies, waiting for his friend.

[y/n] puts her hands on the young girl's shoulders from behind her. "don't do anything stupid, okay?" she warns, looking down at her with a small smile.

jin-ah crosses her arms and huffs. "i won't..." she whines. "i can take care of myself, unnie."

the female hunter chuckles and pats her head. "i know, just checking to make sure." she states as she approaches jin-woo, who handed her bag and she slings it on her back. then jin-ah notices her outfit and her face lights up.

"oh, you're wearing your new clothes unnie!"

[y/n] grins at her observation. "of course, you bought them for me." she says as jin-woo opens the door for them to leave.

jin-ah waves them goodbye as the female gave her a final warning about staying safe.

"I WAS EXPECTING something more dramatic, seeing how you defeated a hell hound for that key." [y/n] retorts with a deadpan and jin-woo sighs.

the two players stood in a grand castle-like hallway, it seemed empty but they couldn't be too sure.

[A QUEST HAS ARRIVED]

their eyes light up at the sudden notification, smiles form on their faces as they receive the details of the quest.

jin-woo chuckles at her excitement. "we get the chance to get items that are over 10 billion gold with this quest." he adds with his friend jumping for joy.

the two start walking to the door at the end of the hallway as they keep discussing. "but if the rewards are that good, the difficulty must also be high." the [h/c] haired player points out with a pout.

"we can't even find any monsters..." the dark haired player trails as they open the door.

the two players are met with a blast of heat and their eyes widened at the sight before them.

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

"A FEILD TYPE?!"
