"WELCOME TO THE SYSTEM?" [y/n] questions staring at a pop up tab in front of her.
the sunlight that poured from the hospital window heated up her [s/c] skin as her dull [e/c] eyes read what was in front of her.
"is it because i said yes from before..." she mumbles as memories formed in her mind but she quickly slaps her face as to not let herself remember.
she lets out a puff of air calming her nerves and continues reading.
soon a new pop windows opens reading:
THE PLAYER MUST COMPLETE THESE DAILY TASKS. IF THE PLAYER DOES NOT COMPLETE IT BY THE ALLOTTED TIME THE PLAYER
WILL RECEIVE A PENTLY.
the girl's eyes widened almost crying in denial. "I HAVE TO RUN HOW MANY MILES?!"

IN JUST A few months. [y/n] [l/n] went from not being able to hold a sword in her hands to taking down a b-rank boss monster.
but she knew she grow further.
so, she did.

"JOB CHANGE? DO i get to pick it?" [y/n] questions with breathless voice. having defeated priests, mages and knights to clear the castle assigned by the system.
ACCEPT JOB CHANGE?
Y / N
the girl presses yes but her eyes widened when she realizes it's being chosen for her.
after a few seconds it lands on.
"a white mage?" she reads with a cocked eyebrow and continues to read the job description.
her eyes widened. "i can make my defeated enemies my followers?" she repeats looking around at the bodies that laid on the floor.
"but that doesn't make sense... white mages deal with life not death. that's a necromancer job, so then why?" [y/n] guesses as she reads the job description again.
'is it because it's a unknown system, that's why it different?' she thinks furrowing her eyebrows. 'it's a valid assumption considering that i'm able purchase items that don't even exist in the first place.'
then another screen pops up.
CHOSE A WORD TO MAKE YOUR ENEMIES YOUR FOLLOWERS.
the [h/c] haired girl sighs and hums, scratching her head trying to come up with a command, then it hits her.
she takes a sharp inhale as her dull [e/c] eyes glowed a royal blue color as she utters the command.
"AWAKEN."
soon the enemies around her rose up with soft white glow, their bodies made of wisps of white and dark blue.
she jumps when a bunch of new screens pop up, the one that stood out was.
YOU WILL BE PROMOTED FROM 'WHITE MAGE' TO 'MISTRESS OF LIGHT'
[y/n] blinks in confusion and giggles. "mistress? i'm far from it, that's for sure!" noting how dirtied she looked from all the fighting she did, especially how torn her white t-shirt was and burnt patches on her black joggers.
she walks over to the giant knight she defeated, her eyes still glowing with a threatening blue.
"i wonder..." she muses putting her hands on her hips.
"awaken." she orders but she furrow her eyebrows when she sees a screen pop.
[LIGHT EXTRACTION FAILED]
(2 TRIES LEFT)
'so i have certain amount of tries, huh.' [y/n] huffs and she narrows her eyes at the hunk of metal.
"i said, awaken."
[LIGHT EXTRACTION FAILED]
(1 TRY LEFT)
"c'mon bro! it's not that hard!" she groans but takes a deep breath. her eyes trial back to the two thrones that the knight was protecting and looks to the knight.
she sighs in irritation and holds her head up high as if to look down at him. "stop protecting something that has already been lost, instead protect the one who stands before you. now, i'll ask you again..."
[y/n] outstretches her hand to the knight as if she were offering her hand to him.
"AWAKEN."
soon wisps of white and blue swirl around the body and she slightly smirks when she sees the white figure rise up.
YOU HAVE UPGRADED THE LIGHT FOLLOWER
FOLLOWER'S LEVEL WILL BE .7
FOLLOWERS HIGHER THAN RANK KNIGHT CAN BE NAMED.
"a name, huh?" she hums and taps her cheek to think of something.
"how about, icarus. does that seem fitting for you?" she asks with a small smile.
as if he heard her, he stood up and got one knee and bowed his head. soon her new soldiers did the same.
as if [y/n] were the queen of the palace.
a smirk plays on her lips as she looks on at her light soldiers, her eyes glowing slightly, full of glee.
"NOW, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT."

"KEY OF BEGINNINGS? the hell?" [y/n] says as she takes a bite of her food. she held a thick black key in her hand that was embedded with arctic blue jewels.
she inspected the key by its black chain, noting it's difference in design than keys before.
"why is this key so different?" she mumbles through her food and proceeds to take another bite.
she set the key down and sighs. opening up her screens to check her stats and she sweatdrops.
her dull [e/c] eyes scan them. "i'm grateful that it's in a game like form but i was never good at rpgs or balancing skills. i'm more of a go with a flow type gal..." she mumbles closing the window.
her eyes stare at the black key on the table. "who knows maybe this key will take me to someone who'll help me!" she jokes with a slight giggle.
"AS IF THAT COULD EVER HAPPENED."
