Prologue

There was a sharp, menacing hiss that echoed through the lab. Dr. Wu flinched, instinctively stepping back from the reinforced cage. "That's not supposed to happen," he muttered, directing his words to a nearby aide.

Before the aide could respond, the doors slid open, and Dagson strode in with a sense of urgency. "Are you sure about that? I distinctly remember her being classified as highly hostile," he said, his eyes narrowing at the creature beyond the bars.

Dr. Wu shook his head, his expression a mix of confusion and frustration. "No, she's just a juvenile. She shouldn't be this aggressive. I've been feeding her regularly... there's no reason for this behavior."

Behind them, the creature let out another low growl, its amber eyes gleaming with an intensity that defied explanation.

"Should we sedate her?" Doxen asked, his voice uneasy as the juvenile let out another guttural growl.

Dr. Wu shook his head firmly. "No. I like her this way. But the park... the park is not going to like her."

"What?" Doxen frowned, crossing his arms. "We're not giving her to Jurassic Park?"

"No," Wu said, glancing at the creature with an almost protective air. "She's going to Biosyn. I thought maybe Claire would want her in Jurassic World, but..." He paused, calculating. "After all, there isn't a Giganotosaurus in the park. We could use her there."

Doxen sighed heavily, his skepticism clear. "If that's what you really want, sure, go ahead. But don't say I didn't warn you. Hoskins isn't gonna like this."

Wu scowled, his tone turning sharp. "What do I care about that brute anyway? He's just a hired goon. I don't understand why InGen keeps him around."

Doxen shrugged, casting a wary glance at the cage. "Politics, maybe. Or just bad judgment. Either way, I hope you know what you're doing."

Wu didn't respond, his focus already back on the furious juvenile. Whatever his plans were, they clearly weren't up for debate.
