chapter two - "What's the matter baby? Don't like me know?"

Athena couldn't take the hungry anymore. The day had her in different rooms with different temperatures making her shed her jacket only to put it back on for the next room she entered. Each eletrica whizzing of the pencil sharpener made her thoughts run with all the different ways she could kill Mr. Harrison with it. It didn't matter how much she stuffed her face with fatty foods that filled a normal person up. All she could think about was eating someone. Eating a man.

So, she begged her sister the second she had walked back into the house to go out that night. Saying she missed when they would go out and drink and just have fun. Lola felt bad, her baby sister had just gotten out of the hospital after missing for two months she said yes.

The Check sister's thrived at clubs, they loved everything about them. The lights that either were blinding or trying to set a mood. The basic music that they would flirt with the DJ to get something that would actually be decent. And of course the alcohol.

Lola sat at the bar talking and scoring free shots from the two men on either side of her. Every so often glancing over to Thena, who had a tall black haired man dancing with her. He had offered her a drink, but she turned him down saying she wanted to dance instead. Her back was pressed up against him as her hips whined with his. She could feel his hands slip down from her waist down to her thighs andiokm moklm, smiled knowing she had him.

She turned around to face him pressing one of her hands against his chest gesturing for him to come closer. "Follow me, I wanna show you something." He nodded eagerly at her.

She smiled at him sealing the deal, putting the last of her power into making sure she had him. Taking his hand and guiding him through the crowded dance floor. Bringing him out and back into an alleyway passing by two bartenders that held the door for them. The alleyway was dimly lit, puddles from the previous rain were scattered throughout and a lone trash can that only purpose was for the giant ashtray on top.

The moment he glanced right to left to see no one around them she was on him. Pushing him up against the brick wall as she started making out with him. Her kisses were hungry and eager. The guy wanted to pull away from her to catch his breath and wanting to switch so he had control over her, but he couldn't. The strength she had over him excited his own. The second her lips were on him his whole body was turned on and he didn't want to stop.

She finally separated from him, biting his lips seductively as he watched, unable to take his eyes off of her. She stepped back checking for anyone around as he followed, going to pin her against the wall but she roughly shoved him back against the wall and the mood quickly changed.

Her eyes were now milky white with dark black dots for pupils. Her skin no longer even and tan but a sickly pale. Her smile had changed from their perfect white to sharp pointy spikes. "What's the matter baby? Don't like me know?" She pounced on him, pinning his shoulders against the brick as her sharp razor teeth sliced his throat open. Blood started to pour from his throat, like a waterfall quickly covering the both of them. He had let out a scream, but it was cut to nothing but hissing, like air being let out of a tier. It was as if he had suddenly lost his voice. Which he did, she had made sure to cut his vocal cords not wanting anyone to hear him.

After she was finished with him, she let his pale lifeless body slump to the ground. She didn't even know his name, and yet she didn't care. 'Cause the feeling, the power she now had running through her body was everything she missed. She looked down at the man's blood covered body looking at the heart in her hand and she simply smiled. Glancing over her shoulder after seeing someone walk past only made her smile grow wider.

Her eyes, teeth, and skin were now back to normal. Whatever low energy hunger she had felt before was now gone. Instead filled with her supernatural strength.

Taking a deep breath and letting out, walking her way back into the club. No one asked about the women covered in blood holding a human heart in her hand. That's how powerful of a demon she is. How powerful she became.

Going to the bathroom and whipping the crime scene on her face. Touching up her makeup where she could, not wanting to use all her juice up at once. Her dress on the other hand was ruined. No matter what the bottle says, what the overly hyper probably on some type of drug tv guy said, it didn't matter how many gallons she poured on it the blood wasn't coming out. Using the new bit of her power to make sure no one saw or questioned the blood and more importantly the human heart in hand. Taking a few more shots before calling it a night and going home. Helping Lola into her bed before placing the heart in the freezer.

That little vintage satin black dress was never seen again. The blood caked on the dress after being thrown in corner of her bathroom. After changing into looser and cleaner clothes. The dress would sit there until it would be thrown away the night, she tried seducing the wrong boy.

😈

"You really don't remember anything?" Allison questioned as her and Lydia walked up the steps to the front of the school. "They called it a fugue state, which is basically a way of saying "we have no idea why you can't remember running through the woods naked for two days." But personally, I don't care I lost nine pounds." The redhead remarked.

Both chuckled, finally reaching the door, "Are you ready for this?" Allison asked after looking between her and the blue double doors.

"Please, it's not like my aunt's a serial killer." She remarked stunning the Argent before swiftly walking into the building. Everyone stopped and stared neither one noticing who was standing right behind them.

"Maybe it's the nine pounds?" Allison suggested trying to lighten Lydia's mood.

Lydia looked back trying to dramatically fling her hair from her face, but her confidence dropped seeing who they were really looking at, Athena Check. "Nevermind I figured it out." She muttered walking off as Allison took a quick glance seeing the smirking raven-haired girl before following her. "Who is she?" She had seen her face before as The Checks put them on every billboard and street pose possible. Along with keeping it on every slot of the news.

"Athena Check. The Check's are the richest family in Beacon Hills. She's been missing for 6 months, I thought she died, but obviously not." She informed the Argent while fastly walking down the crowded hallway. Meeting at Lydia's locker, holding her hand on the combination lock, stopping and looking at Allison who was leaning against the neighboring ones. "Allison, I'm telling you this because I love you. Stay away from Athena, she will only bring the worst parts of yourself out."

The truth was Lydia knew what Athena was capable of. They were the best of friends, thicker than thieves. But after Thena went missing Lydia was happy. Yes, she knew it was horrible to say, but it was true. The first month she was out there with her parents and the search party combing the woods any area they could. After that month though, Lydia realized something, she was happier and more joyful since Athena disappeared. Like when she was with her most of her energy and happiness was drained when she was around her.

Overthinking every little thing she did, what she wore, how she smelt, her makeup, everything. Of course, still worries about those things but not to the degree she had been. The truth was she was happier away from Athena fucking Check.

😈

The succubus had thought through the whole plan. The small trail of bodies and missing people would be her cover. No one would think to look at the small fragile teenager who had been missing, and even if they did her parents would make their reputation, career, everything they've ever touched radioactive. The plan was to charm and flirt her way into the sheriff's son's heart. Get him to trust her enough to tell her everything about the case. That way she can fix and make sure everything goes according to her plan. Plus, if she were to ever get hungry, she wouldn't have to worry about anyone finding out about her.

She jogged up the belchers to the top seats. Sitting down and crossing her legs, scanning the field only to see the buzzed hair boy running back to the benches in front of her. "This is the idea."

"Oh,"

"There we go." He muttered gathering up his equipment. "What's the idea?" The puppy-eyed boy next to him asked. "I seriously don't understand how you survive without me sometimes."

The coach blew the starting whistle making everyone line up on the field. The puppy-eyed boy was in the goal and the sheriff's son was in the line. She kept reminding herself about why she was about to sit through a boring practice.

But was shocked seeing the goalie run up and body check one of the players at the front of the line. Smiling lightly at the sudden pain this game brought, scotting a bit closer to the edge of the metal seat. Figure this was probably their plan but couldn't understand why, but she didn't really care why.

And just like before one the couch blew the whistle and threw the next person the ball. The goalie ran out and checked the dude. Hitting his knees sending him flying over his shoulder. And the same thing happened twice more. Till it came up to Jackson's turn who said he was gunna sit out because of his shoulder.

Athena's head tilted something was a bit off with the next player and the goalie. The whistle blew and the ball was up, he caught it and ran towards the goal. But it didn't end in the same way, the two just tossed for a second before staring at each other. But the thing that caught Athena's attention was the yellow werewolf eyes both had.

The whistle blew as three police officers walked up on the field, one of them being sheriff Stilinski. All being dispersed as the Coach stood to the side while the sheriff questioned Isaac Lahey. His father was mauled to death last night.

"Because they can lock him in a holding cell for 24 hours." Stiles said as Athena walked up to the two. "Like overnight?" Scott asked not taking his eyes off the scene. "During the full moon." Stiles confirmed.

"Full moons bring out crazy people." Athena stated smirking lightly as the two turned towards her. Standing behind the two her attention on both making sure she paid a little bit more towards Stiles. "At least that's what my mother says. Which is why she refuse to drive at night." She took a step closer to him, picking a piece of dead grass off his shoulder. Only inches from his face, her eyes trailing from his shoulder meeting his eyes.

Hook. Line. And sinker.

It was the smell. The intoxicating smell of lust, love, romance, the hunger and want for someone. She fought every urge that told her to just rip his throat out right this very second. Reminding herself of her plan, reminding herself that this was only the beginning of feeding into him. Winking at him before turning on her heel and walking back towards the school.

😈

Athena yawned leaning her head against the cold stone wall. Sitting in the small four chair waiting area of the Police Station. They had called her parents informing them that they needed her to come in and re-fine some of the mudder details. It didn't bother her, not at all. Especially after having months to write her store with her fully filled up powers to tie the nice bow on everything, she had it all under control.

"Someone will be with you shortly, honey." A man said after she had watched him look down the hall before walking past her and out of one of the offices.

She gave him an innocent smile, but he didn't even see it. Her eyes studied him, not because she was concerned about him, but because of that sweet metalic smell she craved. Seeing a nice red blotch on his thigh which he had been limping on. Seeing him leave a trail of blood while the juggling sound of keys followed him. She stood up, looking down towards the front door seeing no one was coming to see her. The small black veins appeared under her eyes and once she blinked, they disappeared. The hunger being feed by just the smell and sight of trail sent her.

Slowly lurking behind him not making a single sound. Just as she followed him through a corridor, he stopped making her stop. Getting ready to pounce on him till her heard another voice, "Whoa, uh, just looking, um..." Stile's voice trailed off as the man's head looked down, "Oh shit," He cursed before the two took off.

She watched as the deputy grabbed Stiles, covering his mouth dragging him down the hall. Peaking her head around the corner seeing him holding a large needle to his neck. Stiles reached up and grabbed the fire alarm. Walking out in front of them seeing Stile's eyes widen at the sight of her. "Hey!" She yelled as the deputy finally let him go after reaching the holding cells. She reached down trying to help Stiles back up seeing one of the cells open. "That's not supposed to be open, is it?"

"No,"

Suddenly a creature roared shoving the deputy across the room making Stiles quickly drag Athena to the ground with him. Watching them struggle, well more like the hairy creature throwing the man on the desk twice and then against the wall. Stiles scrambling to the other side of the room away from them not taking his hand from Athena's hand. Watching between Stiles and the hairy creature as it finally knocked the man out, as someone else suddenly appeared. Derek Hale looked over at the two, his expression showing a flash of confusion after laying his eyes on the Check girl. And in that moment the hairy creature was about to attack him, quickly snapping his head towards it a letting out a roar that sent a devious smile to her lips.

She had heard that roar before. In the woods on full moons, she could always count on at least one howl. But some of them were different and she couldn't place why they were, till now. Werewolves were real.

The hairy wolf crowed into a ball, slowly and cautiously looking back up seeing he, Isaac, was back to normal. Stiles started to pant making her snap back to reality, "How did you do that?"

"I'm the alpha."

"Right, right, yeah, because that makes sense." Stiles strutted out.

Athena blinked a few times quickly knowing she had to think of a reaction, a normal human reaction. So, she screamed. A final girl third act type of scream. "What in the actual hell is going on?!"

All three snapped their attention towards her. "Look," Stiles declared scrambling to his feet, helping her up, "We can't go into it right now because the entire department is going to storm in here any second." Derek nodded, "I'll take Isaac and you two can figure out a way to excuse all of this."

"Okay, okay, okay," She muttered tucking her hair behind her ears, trying to sell the deal, "But what in the actual fuck is going on?!"
