chapter one - "Welcome back baby sis!"

Athena sat in the bed as the nurse took her final vitals as her mom continued to pack her stuff and her dad was filling out her release forms.

"Are you sure you want to go home so soon? I mean what if you stayed another week?" Maya Check asked looking up from the duffle bag.

"Mom for the last time I'm more than ready to go home. Besides if I stay here another day I'll go nuts...no offends," She said looking up at the nurse taking her blood pressure, "None takin,"

Her mother sighed before going back to packing as silence filled the room the tv being the only sound.

The nurse took the pressure cuff off and started to write something down. "What's taking your father so long?" She complained.

Athena shrugged her shoulders, knowing patients wasn't her mother's strongest trait.

"There was an escaped patient earlier so everyone is mostly focused on finding her." The nurses said as Athena stood up and went to the bathroom to make sure she didn't forget anything. "See Thena that's the main reason we had you tidied you down and had someone watch you sleep."

This quickly made her roll her eye's before looking at herself in the mirror. A couple more hours until she can go out.

"Yes mother, I know."

The nurse cleared her throat at the awkwardness that came from her statement. "Okay, well, I'll got fill this into your file and hopefully you'll be leaving soon." She said as Athen leaned against the door frame. "I hope I don't have to see you again. But than again it was a pleasure Athena, Mrs. Check." She said smiling at the two before walking out.

Maya's fake smile fell as she groaned before going back to packing. Athena walked over to the bed to check her phone.

"Okay," Zane Check announced walking into the room. "We are ready to go, I already have Lola getting the car but we're ready when you are." He said looking at his youngest daughter who just pointed towards her mom.

"About damn time, everyone is so worried about a run away girl and all my baby wants is to get home." Maya complained before leaving the packed bags and walking out of the room leaving the father and daughter alone in the room.

Both raised a brow, knowing she was probably going to smoke a cigarette out of stress.

"You ready pumpkin?" He asked making her nodded her head.

He walked up handing her the lightest bag and taking the rest. Walking towards the elevator, weaving bye to the nurse that were at the desk. Down in the looby she could see Mrs. Check inside the car as Lola stood outside next to the popped trunk.

"Welcome back baby sis!" She called making Athena break into a smile.

The two sisters hugged each other, "I'm so happy you get here as soon as mom leaves." Thena whispered before the two pulled apart.

Their father packed the car before opening the door for each of them to get in. Than getting into the drivers seat and driving off. Scott watched in the blue jeep shocked at the sighed. The rumors were true, Athena Check was officially back.

Athena sat at her vanity brushing out her long black hair as older sister sat on her bed behind her texting they friends she had back in college. 'oh my god," She said suddenly, "Lydia Martin was found naked and in the middle of the forest. Wow, here I thought she was actually sane. Then again, I would do the same if I got attacked and almost died."

This peaked the succubus' attention, setting her brush down. "What happened?"

"That's right you were to busy getting kidnaped. At the winter formula some animal attacked her, nearly killing her and ending her up in the hospital."

Athena nodded along, feeling the wave of nausea and illness wash over her. After wondering around the forest and eating all the hikers and hitch-hikers Beacon Hills had she decided it was for the best to find a hospital. And with each passing day, the hunger growing more and more in her, she decided that had been the stupidest idea she had ever had. She hadn't eaten something or someone fueling in a while. Turing around to face her sister, forcing a smile, "Lo, it's late and I'm not feeling all to great, so I think I'm just gunna go to sleep."

"Okay... I'm right down the hall if you need anything." She replied sweetly, standing up and walking out shutting the door behind her.

Her smile fell as soon as that door shut. Glancing at herself in the mirror one last time before getting up. The dark bags under her eyes were now more clear against her paling skin. But her eyes changed from their normally chocolate brown to a more milky white with small pitch black iris. Slowly reaching over and pulling on the chain turning off the only light on in her room.

"Yeah, right, cause when it comes to werewolves, you're a...." Stiles trailed off the conversation Scott and him where having while walking up to school. His eyes dead set on something as Scott followed in confusion only to see what everyone was staring at. There stood Athena Check in all her glory. She had everyone stopping in their tracks watching her, most not knowing she was found, and the other's not knowing she was already back at school.

The feeling alone fed her, the attention and stares only help strength her power. She smirked at the feeling, looking up at the teacher holding the door and smiled at him before walking inside. 

Her mother had already argued with the school on her keeping the same locker and getting her into her next semester classes. Saying it wasn't her daughters' fault she was kidnapped and missed two months. She shouldn't have to be held back for something out of her control Walking down to her locker, her hips swaying side to side as she ran her fingers through her black locks. Smiling at the few starring eyes answering the questions people had and trying to find the few boys nobody would notice or care about if they went missing. Her hunger only growing by the minute.

School went by in a blur answering everyone's questions, acting like she gave a shit about school, and fake smiling her way through her enter day. Slowly regretting not taking her sisters' idea to just hang out. They hunger only gotten worse when cheer practice came.

Being force to stay on the sidelines and watch, something her doctor wanting her to gain her strength back before working out. But it was really just torture before force to watch lacrosse practice and be taunt with the sweaty boys.

When it got to much to handle she stood up and said she had to go to bathroom. Taking her water bottle and splashing small bits on herself. Seeing a skinny buzzcut boy run out and run towards his blue jeep.

She tilted her head, remembering the blue jeep outside the hospital and sorta knowing it belong to the Sheriffs son, but couldn't remember his name.

All while if she couldn't remember his name maybe that meant he was forget able. Maybe if she tried hard enough she could make it look like he just up and left town.

the chapter is finally up !! holy shit this took forever !!!

the main reason is because i couldn't figure out how I wanted to write it, and i had to re-plot everything because i came up with a better idea. but it up and starting again and i'm so excited for it !!
