Chapter Ten

Aidan's P.O.V.

As I made my way back to the trailer, realizing I didn't have to go to set for another half hour, I ran into T.J. "Where are you heading?" I asked. "To your trailer, Serena invited me on her tour, and I just finished checking with Steve!" she answered as she walked ahead of me. From the look of happiness on her face, I assumed that he had said yes. I managed to catch up with T.J. just before she walked into the trailer and closed the door.

Trailing close behind, I saw Serena's face. She seemed anxious to know how it went. "So, what did he say?" She asked. "I'm going on tour with you!" T.J. shouted, running and jumping onto Serena, knocking the wind out of her. "I'm so happy for you guys! You guys are going to have such a fun time," I smiled. "Thanks, Aidan," Serena smiled as she looked up at me, and T.J. got off her.

I grabbed a water bottle from the mini-fridge, plopping down between the two girls on the sofa. "We should go shopping this weekend for our outfits!" T.J. said, breaking the silence. "Actually, my record label is going to be sending different outfits for me to try on. So, we don't have to spend a lot of money!" Serena admitted. T.J's jaw almost dropped. "You're kidding me?" She gaped. Serena shook her head, assuring her that what she was saying was true. To be honest, I was in shock too. Serena was part of a big label, but I didn't know that they shipped out outfits for tours.

"So, when do they come in?" I asked. "Joseph didn't say exactly when, but he did say to expect them within three to four days," she answered. T.J. started squealing like a mouse, making my ears hurt, as she leaned across from me, hugging Serena.

Serena's P.O.V.

I paced back and forth as the third day of waiting for my outfits became the fourth, and I was worried that somehow there had been a mix-up with the address, and they were shipped to our house back in LA. But all of those thoughts were put to rest when I received a phone call from the front desk, telling us that a few packages had arrived. "Alright, I'll be down in a minute," I said before hanging up.

"Did they come?" Aidan asked as he sat at his desk, strumming his guitar. "Yes, they did!" I smiled. With Aidan trailing close behind, we took the elevator down to the main floor, and the lady at the desk gave us three large boxes that were surprisingly light. Back in the room, Aidan took out his knife and cut open the boxes. To my surprise, I saw dresses with golden shoes, earrings, necklaces, and even a few makeup palates.

All of them looked so amazing, and I could picture myself on stage wearing them, so it was going to be hard to choose just one. I pulled out the outfits, laying them down on the bed next to the accessories, and asked Aidan which one he thought looked cool. "I think they all look cool," He answered, not really giving me the help that I needed. I called T.J. asking for her guidance, and soon, she showed up at the hotel, and she and Aidan were waiting for me to get out of the bathroom with a new outfit.

One of the first outfits I tried on was a black dress with a see-through cape and a pair of gold high-heeled boots. I took a deep breath as I looked at myself in the mirror. And the longer I stared at the designer outfit, it didn't feel like I was Serena Waterbury. But instead, I felt like Taylor Swift or Britney Spears. When I stepped out of the bathroom, Aidan and T.J's eyes started bulging out of their heads. "What do you think?" I asked.

Aidan tried to get the words out, but all that escaped his lips was a gurgling noise. T.J. eventually got the word's out, and she said that it looked beautiful. As soon as she said that, I felt like I didn't need to try on the other outfits. Both mentally and physically, I thought that this current outfit was the one.

With my outfit out of the way, I helped T.J. with trying on some of the casual outfits. "What about this one?" I suggested lifting a black sleeveless shirt that said "Moon and Stars," along with a pair of blue jeans. "I like it. but it doesn't really match my personality," T.J. said honestly. When we first started this try-on-a-thon,  I assured her that I would not be offended if she didn't like the outfit I suggested. We looked through another box, and she pulled out a long white sweater, along with a mini skirt that looked like a modern plaid.

She headed to the bathroom to try it on, and the moment she walked out with the outfit on, I reacted the same she did when it was my turn. "Do you not like it? I can pick out another-" "No. No, it's beautiful! I love it," I answered, standing up and walking towards her. "Thanks for inviting me on tour with you," She smiled, embracing me ever so tightly as I hugged her back.
