5.1 Simon Said
Dean let out a sigh as he leaned up against the open door of the Impala. I was sitting in the back waiting for Salem to get back after letting him stretch his legs. We were both waiting for Sam to come back from the gas station's bathroom.
"Did you drink all your milkshake?" Dean asked glancing at me as I was biting on the straw. I stared towards Salem who was trying to catch a bird, not answer his question.
"Earth to Carmen?" He said waving his hand in front of my face. "What?" I asked looking up at him. "That little devil is fine. Now what about that milkshake?" He asked after looking towards Salem.
"He's not a devil, and besides I'm not worried about his it's the old man behind him. Been staring at him since I let him out." I said looking back at Salem.
"What's taking him so long?" He asked, letting out a sigh.
"He might be having trouble with the giant cast on his wrist," I suggested. He gave me a look and I gave him one back before looking back at Salem as the old guy walking up to Salem.
"I'm fighting that old man if he takes my cat!" I growled before storming off. "Okay, I'll go check on Sammy!" Dean called.
"Salem come on time to go." I said finally reached them. The man's head shot up as Salem jumped up off his back and walked over to me.
"Oh the cat's you'rs?" He asked.
"Yes he is actually," I said picking Salem up.
"With a beautiful black cat like that you should have a collar on it."
That started making me feel uneasy, I nodded slowly, "I'll let my big strong older brothers know about that too." I said hoping that the mention of them would scare him off.
"If I were you I wouldn't let him out of my sights," He said as I slowly nodded glancing over my shoulder quickly noticing my brothers walking back.
"I should really go," I said as I quickly walked away. It was more of a speed walk but I just wanted to get out of there.
Once I got back over to my brothers, a little out of breath, I saw Sam whose face was in pain, and was also out of breath. "You okay, Bigfoot?" I asked, concerned.
"Yeah...yeah," He muttered before we all climbed into the Impala. I stared towards Salem's neck confused out of my mind.
I had a collar for Salem, but he quickly outgrew it. I couldn't find it I mean it wasn't in my backpack our duffle bag or any of my brothers stuff.
I pulled Salem closer, Salem pawed my arm knowing something was wrong. "It's nothing," I muttered.
"Sammy?" I asked leaning forward looking over at him. "What's going on?"
"It happened again ─I had another vision," He informed. Dean let out a sigh, reaching forwards and turned on the radio. "Guys, we need to go to the Roadhouse," Sam said, swallowed slowly.
"What? Why?" Dean asked. "I ─I saw someone die. Something─ the man shot someone and them himself but…" Sam trailed off.
"Just take it easy, okay? Sammy?" I said softly. "No, I-" Sam took a deep breath. "I saw it happen, Carm." He looked at me with sad eyes, "I saw it."
"I don't know, man, why don't we just chill out, think about this," Dean said, making Sam to look at him. He turned off the radio, "What's there to think about?"
"I just don't know if going to the Roadhouse is the smartest idea," Dean said.
"Dean, it's another premonition. I know it. This is gonna happen, and Ash can tell us where," Sam insisted.
"Yeah, man, but…" Dean started.
"Plus it could have some connection with the demon. My visions always do," Sam said. "That's my point," Dean said. "There's gonna be hunters there. I don't know if, if, if going in and announcing that you're some supernatural freak with a, a demonic connection is the best thinking, okay?"
"Dean," I warned slapping the back of his head. "What?" He asked, confused. Sam stared at our older brother for a moment, "So I'm a freak now?"
Dean glanced at him and slapped his thigh, "You've always been a freak." He smiled weakly and turned back to the road. I glared at him before turning back to Sam, who then looked down before out the window.

We finally reached the Roadhouse. We pulled in front and climbed out. We walked in and saw two men at a table cleaning weapons but stopped when they saw us.
I nearly walked into Max as I put my head forwards and smirked. "You okay?" He asked tilting his head a little. I smiled, "Yeah um, sadly this isn't the first time I've walked into things...or people."
He laughed lightly. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Well I came to check in with Jo and Ellen, but losing $50 wasn't planned." He said pointing behind him as I looked over his shoulder seeing Jo counting cash in her hand, but stopped looking up and saw me. I smiled and waved at her, she waved back.
"Don't let her blond hair fool you," He said before leaning closer, "She isn't the dumb blond type." He whispered as I nodded, "Noted, I should really go over there before Dean goes bankrupt." I said before walking away.
"Well well look who it is, did lover boy give you any trouble?" She teased, smirking as she looked at me.
I gave her a quick hug before she looked at Dean, "Just can't stay away, huh?"
"Yeah, looks like. How you doin', Jo?" He asked.
"Where's Ash?" Sam asked hurriedly as he came up to us. "In his back room," Jo replied. "Great," Sam said brushing past her. "And I'm fine…" Jo said before turning back to me and Dean.
"Sorry, he's in a mood and we're...kind of on a bit of a timetable," I said before me and Dean followed Sam as she gave us a nod.
We reached to the back room and saw Sam knocking on a rough wooden door that had a sign hanging on it that read: DR BADASS IS: IN.
"Ash? Hey, Ash?"
I I knocked as well, "Hey, Ash?" Dean knocked, "Hey, Dr. Badass?"
The door unlatched and opened a crack to reveal Ash, who was naked. Completely Naked! I gasped as I quickly closed my eyes, and got turned around and my eyes got doubled covered.
"Sam? Dean? Carmen? Sam, Dean, and Carmen," I heard Ash say as he sniff. "Hey Ash. Um. We need your help," Sam said.
"Well hell then. Guess I need my pants," Ash said. "Yes. Pants. Now. Please." I said as I heard the door close before the hands on my eyes were removed.
"We are never taking her to a bar again," Dean muttered before pulling me with and Sam back to the bar.
I went over to Ellen at the bar and she smiled, "Hey, baby," She said. "Hey, Ellen," I said with a smile. "What would you like to drink?" She asked.
"Well considering some guy almost catnap Salem, and I feel the need to bleach my eyes out. A beer please." I rambled.
She frowned as she stared at me, "I'm sorry, I think I'm starting to hear things," She said. "I thought you said beer."
I gave a slow nod, "Yep," She gave me a look, "Since when do you drink beer?" She asked.
"I, uh well," I trailed off as Dean came over. "What's up, Ellen?" He asked, giving a nod.
"Since when does your sister drink beer?" She turned the question to him. "I, uh well," This time he trailed off. She gave him a look before looking at me, "Who gave you permission to drink?"
I smiled lightly, "Salem?" I said my voice going up a few aotives. She pointed at Dean , "Your big brothers." Dean gave a small chuckle, "Well, I -I think I should go, get Sammy."
"You go that, I don't think he knows, does he?" Ellen said. Dean opened his mouth to say something but then closed it.
"Hey, Ellen," Sam said, sitting beside me at the bar and letting out a sigh.
"Hey, sweetie," She said before giving a look to Dean. "Well…" He said. "What is it?" Sam asked, rubbing his forehead as he looked at the three of us. "Uuhh," I said.
"I guess I will get you guys beers. Three," Ellen said and I sunk into my seat as Dean looked down.
Sam gave a small nod before he frowned, "Wait what?" He asked. "Oh you didn't know? I take that big brother Dean got Carmen to drink," Ellen said before turning around to grab the drinks.
Sam's eyes grew wide before he turned back to me and Dean. Dean let out a small chuckle, giving a small shrug, "Well, you know what they say…" Sam gave him 'bitch face' and then glared at me, who was nervously smiling the whole time.
Dean licked his lips before turning back to Ellen, "Hey, Ellen, two beers and Carmen's favorite," He said.
She gave a nod and a smile. "Got ya," She said.
Ash came out soon after and sat on a table with his laptop open as me and my brothers came over to him. Dean and I stood behind Ash, resting on the wall while Sam sat opposite Ash.
Ash compared a sketch of a bus logo to anything on the internet. "Well, I got a match. It's the logo from the Blue Ridge bus lines in Guthrie, Oklahoma."
"Okay. Do me a favor ─check Guthrie for any demonic signs, or omens, or anything like that," Sam said.
"You think the demon's there?" Ash asked tapping on the keyboard.
"Yeah, maybe,"
"Why would you think that?"
"Just check it, all right?" Dean said.
Ash gave him a look before going to work. My brothers shared a frown while I just raised my brow before looking back at him.
"No, sir, nothing. No demon," Ash informed.
"All right, try something else for me," Sam started. "Search Guthrie for a house fire. It would be 1983, fire's origin would be a baby's nursery, night of the kid's six month birthday."
Ash looked at him, starled as Dean and I glanced at each other before he looked around for any eavesdroppers.
"Okay, now that is just weird, man. Why the hell would I be looking for that," Ash said.
"Cause there's a PBR in it for ya," Sam said as my big brother sat a beer next to the computer. "Give me fifteen minutes," Ash said, giving in.
Dean and I left Sam and Ash alone. I walked up the bar towards Ellen, "I told them," I said getting her attention. "I told them everything," I repeated as her eyes softened and she nodded. "And what they say?"
"That is wasn't my fault," I said crossing my arms leaning on the bar.
"You see? We're thinking the same thing. Now what was the whole Salem getting kidnapped about?" She said and walked over, putting the glasses back.
I shrugged, "I don't know, I let him stretch his leg and Thing 1 and Thing 2 went to the bathroom as I noticed some old guy sneaking up on him." I said biting on the straw of the glass coke she had given me.
"And?"
"And...when I to Salem he said that with a pretty cat like that you should really have it a collar." I said slowly as I got goosebumps from the memory.
"But what's the worse part is that Salem's collar disappeared that morning. I tore up the whole trunk looking for it." I said. And just before she could respond Sam called my name.
"Carmen." I turned seeing him standing besides Jo, "We have a match. We've gotta go," He said before walking away.
I looked back at Ellen, "Duty calls," I said. She nodded giving a gentle smile, "We'll see you later, baby." I nodded and went to go catch up with Sam.
"Later Blondie," I teased making Jo smile, "See you soon Brownie," She said as I followed my brothers out of the bar.
