Jamie woke up to the loudness of her mother screaming. "Mom!" she ran out of her room seeing her mother run outside, the lights inside began to flash like crazy.

The back of Jamie's neck grew cold and she let out a whimper as she turned around. The wall before her moving forward as a hand reached for her.

She knew what it was right away, but part of her ached to let it take her. She stood still with its long arm right in front of her face.

The tip of its claws so close to her eyes. She stopped breathing in that second as she felt the sharpness of its claw rip into her cheek.

"Jamie!" her mothers voice was loud echoing off the walls and the creature growled loudly. Disappearing back into the wall as Jamie gasped.

Her mother ran towards her, gripping her shoulders tightly. Blood fell down her cheek as she looked at the doorway, Jonathan walked inside with Cops.

   Jamie sat on the couch bandaids now on her face as she wrapped a blanket around herself.

"A trooper found something in the water that's at the quarry". Jamie didn't truly believe Will was dead, it didn't make sense.

He was there, with that thing going after him. If he did die his body wouldn't just appear back here. Something wasn't right and Jamie felt it.

"Our working theory right now is that Will crashed his bike, he made his way over the quarry and accidentally fell in".

Jamie stood up pushing her jacket over herself and making sure her shoes were tied fully. "Where are you going?" She looked at her brother.

"I'm going to find Will, whoever they found in that water it's not him, he's still there, it wants me so I'm giving it what it wants".

   Jamie walked down the road ignoring the shouting of her brother and Hopper. She spent so much time alone it was odd being here.

With people around all the time, everyone is trying to be cautious around her. She knew she truly didn't belong here, not when Will wasn't here too.

She stopped outside the wheeler's house looking around to make sure no one was outside. She let out a heavy breath as she knocked on the door.

Luckily Mike was the one who answered "Jamie? What are you doing here so late?".

She looked past him making sure no one was listening or watching them. "Let me see the girl, I need to talk to her".

He went to protest, clearly upset with something Eleven did, but Jamie ignored him. She ran down the basement stairs where she found Eleven.

The little girl holding onto a walkie-talkie the static of it so loud as Jamie sat down in front of her.

"You know why I'm here don't you?" Eleven looked at her "Will". Jamie nodded as she pushed her hair behind her ear "Eleven, I want to help him... and I know you can help me".

She grabbed hold of the walkie-talkie, the static on it shifting and forming into words. Will's voice loud and clear was echoing into the room.

"Is that!" Mike ran forward grabbing the walkie-talkie from Jamie's grasp. Nearly making the girl fall over from how fast it had happened.

He blinked rapidly and he was shocked when the signal lost its way. He looked at Eleven "could you do that again?" she nodded.

"Let her rest Mike, we'll try again in the morning" he nodded slowly as he turned the walkie-talkie off, setting it onto the table.

Jamie pushed her jacket and shoes off "I'll stay here tonight if that's okay with you?".

"Yeah, just let me get you some blankets" he walked off and she sat down on the couch.

"Hurt?" She looked at Eleven, her hand touching the bandaid on her cheek, "it's just a little scratch, it'll be okay once it heals".

Mike appeared holding onto a pillow and blanket. Jamie grabbed hold of them thanking him before he went upstairs to sleep.

   Jamie sat in between Lucas and Dustin, both of them hesitant about the radio.

"We keep losing the signal, but you heard it, right?"  Mike looked at his two friends, both looking at one another then at him.

"Yeah, I heard a baby" Mike frowned deeply as he looked at Lucas with disbelief.

"Mike, you obviously tapped into a baby monitor. It's probably the Blackburns next door". Jamie looked at Lucas "it's Will, he's alive".

"Look, they found his body last night, he's dead and that's just a baby or something". Jamie shook her head "whoever they found last night, that wasn't Will. He's still out there somewhere".

"This isn't gonna work. We need to get El to a stronger radio". They turned the walkie-talkie off letting Eleven rest.

"Mr. Clarke's Heathkit ham shack" they all nodded and Jamie moved forward "I'll sneak in through the window if you manage to open it".

"It's easy, but there is no way we're gonna get the weirdo in there without anyone noticing".

Jamie stood up "I'll meet you at the school, I have something I need to do first".

She grabbed her bag walking out of the house on the way out and she saw Nancy. She smiled at her softly before walking outside.

Steve's car pulled up and she frowned deeply as she walked towards him. "Steve?" he got out of his car looking surprised to see her.

"Jamie, hey what are you doing here?" she smiled softly "just came to see Mike real quick".

"Are you busy tonight?" She looked at the house watching as Mike and the kids got onto their bikes. "I'm not sure yet, but I'll call".

He nodded and she smiled one last time before walking off down the road towards the school.

  She walked outside going towards the window. She was glad it was already open for her meaning it'd be easy for her to get inside.

She threw her bag inside first before climbing onto the window seal and putting her legs through. Her feet hit the floor and she found herself inside a black void, the coldness hitting her quickly.

She let out a gasp as she walked forward seeing Will, he was crying as he called for someone.

"Mom, it's coming!" a loud growl entered the air making her run forward "Will!".

"Tell me where you are! How do I get to you?" she kept running, Will getting further and further away from her the more she ran.

"It's like home, but it's so dark. It's so dark and empty. And it's cold!". Jamie froze at the sudden coldness in the back of her neck.

She turned around screaming loudly when she found the monster standing right in front of her. It's growl was louder this time.

"I will find you, but you have to run now!" Jamie nearly fell towards the ground when someone bumped into her.

"Will" he gasped as he looked at her with shock "Jamie" his tiny arms wrapped around her tightly. "You can't be here, it doesn't want you".

She kneeled down gripping his face and she found herself back inside the place she was trapped inside for so long. He looked so pale as he cried.

Will frowned "I don't understand" the growl grew louder in her eyes "it's coming" she stood up slowly turning around.

"I need you to stay hidden Will, don't let it get you" he grabbed hold of her arm. "What does it want".

She blinked as she ripped the bandaid off her cheek letting the blood fall from the wound. "It wants me, it's angry I escaped.... I wasn't supposed to escape".

The monster growled as it ran forward "run!" Will turned around running as fast as he could. Jamie slammed her eyes shut as it ran towards her.

She screamed loudly "Jamie!" her eyes slammed open and she gasped as Mike looked at her with worry. Blood fell down her nose rapidly as she sat up from the floor.

"What happened?" Mike let out a heavy breath "you were there, how did you get there?".

She stood up, fully wiping the blood off her face with her sleeve "get where?" she looked at the others then at Eleven who Dustin held onto.

"We heard you on the radio, you were talking to Will" she blinked "I don't know, it kinda just happened out of nowhere".

"Whatever that was, we need to do it again, maybe you can get him back somehow, maybe that place is connected to you or something, since you've been there. I think you're the key to getting Will out of that place for good".

She grew worried as she felt the coldness on the back of her neck, "it's not safe".

This is my last shitty ass draft for this story, which after this it'll be way better and less just all over the place. Figured I'd get this published so that way the next time this is updated I can actually write for it.
