AUTHOR' S P.O.V

It was a very rainy night in Fiore.
Laxus was walking slowly, holding an umbrella
in his left hand and thinking of what to say.

"You're here"

The girl turned around and looked at Laxus confused, her beautiful long wavy brown hair was now wet and straight. Her beautiful brown eyes showed nothing but sadness.

"I'm here" she whispered

"It's raining Cana we should head back"

"You can leave Laxus but I'll stay"

"You'll catch a cold" Laxus said after a loud sigh

"As if you'd care" the girl almost hissed

"I don't like your attitude"

"Sorry dad" she mumbled and turned away from
the tall blonde guy who was shivering from the cold.

"Daddy sounds better"

And she laughed

"Why are you here Laxus?" She asked and walked up to Laxus.

"Because you are here and whether you like it or not,
I am not leaving without you."

It was silent for a moment, Laxus gave his umbrella to Cana who refused to accept it at first but than she finally gave in.

"She's beautiful isn't she?" She whispered

"Huh?"

"Mirajane"

"Cana I am begging you don't even" but before he could finish his sentence she cut him off.

"In 4th grade I had a crush on Freed" Laxus cut her off by laughing.

"No way" he said and laughed even harder

"Way" she mumbled and glared at Laxus

"You Cana. You had a crush of Freed"

"Yes!" She shouted

"But Freed is gay" Laxus said and broke into laughter again

"Just stop okay? He was straight at that time!"

"I told Mirajane about my little crush and asked her to talk to him for me because I was too shy" the girl was cut off again by Laxus laughing.

"You can't be shy you're Cana Alberona for gods sake!" Laxus joked and laughed, while Cana gave him the dirtiest look.

"F you Laxus" Cana spat (no she didn't spit)

"I'm sorry please continue" he said and she nodded

"Mira agreed to do that and then 2 weeks later I find out that Freed had his first kiss with Mira. I asked Mira about it and she told me that she was sorry and she accidentally fell in love with Freed. But understood that he meant nothing to her after the kiss. I was mad at her but I never said a word about it, I wanted to choke her but I hugged her and told her that she was still my bestest friend."

"Damn" Laxus whispered

"In 7th grade Rogue confessed his love to me and gave me a box of chocolates, I thanked him and told him that I'll give him my answer in a few days but when I finally decided to give Rogue a chance and tell him that we could date. He threw a bomb at me by telling me that he no longer loved me but was now in love with Mirajane because they hanged out and went bowling together. My heart was broken but Mira said that she didn't like Rogue but just wanted to test his feelings for me, what a load of crap right?" She asked and Laxus nodded.

"In 8th grade you were new but a class ahead of us, so you were in 9th grade. And I immediately developed a little crush on you when I saw you how clichè right?" She said and laughed

"I started going to basketball practice because of you, joined the swimming team, and tried playing soccer but didn't even get accepted to the team. Mira knew about my feelings for you she knew everything, every little thing. And I tried to keep you two far away from each other but every time she would go up to you and pretend like she was talking about me, although Bickslow always told me that she was just talking about random stuff with you. And those random stuff had nothing to do with me"

"Than after 2 month you two started dating and that's when I lost it! Mira and I fought she started hanging out with you and other kids and I became friends with Erza, Levy, Bisca, Natsu, Gray and even Lisanna yeah the devil was once an angel. But later Mirajane went over to my house and told me that she forgave me I was shocked at first but then I decided to give our friendship another chance. 5 month later you two broke things off Mira did cry but then she just didn't care."

"I soon started dating Cobra we dated for about 2 or 3 years and then broke up when he told me that he didn't like me anymore. But soon he told me that he wants to ask Lucy out and that's when I met Lucy. At first I hated her and tried to ruin her life but all of my friends quickly became her friends except for Natsu, Lisanna and Gray because they stopped hanging out with us at the end of 8th grade after Mira and you broke up. But than I started adoring Lucy and I still love her more than anything in my life"

"And that's when you realized that you're a lesbian for Lucy?" Laxus asked and got smacked

"No idiot that's when I stopped dating and started partying and drinking"

"Cana, Mirajane never stole me from you"

"What do you mean?" Cana asked and hit her lip

"I stole Mirajane from you in middle school"

"I was the reason why you 2 fought and why she stopped hanging out with you."

"I thought that you were in love with Mira and" but Laxus was quickly cut off his sentence.

His cheek suddenly hurt and he felt it turn red.
It took him a second to process what happened
Cana Alberona just slapped him.
