CANA'S  P.O.V

He looked at me surprised and shocked
while I was glaring at him and felt my hand
sting a little, wow I really did slap him hard.

"Speak prick"

"Thanks but I'd appreciate it if you called me by my name"

"Man whore? Okay freaking speak" I shouted

"Cana, Mira always talked about you but I had no interest in you, I thought you were hot but than again I wasn't interested" I laughed while feeling my eyes water, there's not way in hell I'm going to cry over my past.

"I suddenly fell in love with Mira thinking that she was my dream girl and she was at that time. But all Mira said was Cana this and Cana that. Don't judge me Cana imagine liking a guy and all he talks about was his best friend to you that you don't even like. But Bickslow had a crush on you back than so there was no way in hell I'd break the bro code, I didn't even think about talking to you at all. I'm being honest I was just a kid back than who liked a pretty, kind and sweet girl. And after some time she confessed to me and you know what happened than"

"Of course I do remember how she told me Cana I'm sorry that guys like me more than you and Laxus wants me to hang out with his friends because he thinks that you're very clingy and you're in love with me." I said and his eyes widened

"I cried everyday Laxus" I whispered

"She cried as well Cana, she was upset and she missed you"

"Didn't look like it when she was having fun with her new squad" I muttered

"I did miss you" a voice said behind me I turned around to see my ex best friend standing with a pink umbrella with tears in her eyes.

"What is this? A dramatic teenage tv show called choose me? Hell nah I'm out of here!" I shouted but before I could walk away Laxus pulled me closer to him.

"Listen" he commanded and I nodded

"What I did was horrible but we all made those mistakes when we were 13. Mirajane broke up with me because we took things too fast and she did the right thing, I was very clingy and obsessed with her since she was my first love and first girlfriend" Laxus explained

"That's sweet Laxus but from now on I take over. I lied to you about Laxus being gay because in the beginning of this year he asked me to meet him at a cafe just to talk. He told me that he still had feelings for me and asked me out to what I declined kindly"

"You poured a freezing coffee over my head"

"I'm so sorry Laxus" Mira apologized at what he just shrugged

"And you two started being friends suddenly so I suddenly thought that you might fall for him again, while he was in love with me and I did not want you Cana to suffer again from a broken heart. So that's why I lied to you Cana" Mira explained while wiping a tear off her cheeks.

"I apologize for Freed but I swear the only reason I asked Rogue to hang out was because I knew that he was going to be your first boyfriend so I decided to get to know him better to see if my best friend will be happy with this type of a guy. Rogue turned out to be a moody and boring guy but before I could tell you about how you won't find your happiness with him, you confessed to Rogue on the roof top. I'm sorry Cana I've been a sucky best friend" Mira said and started sobbing.

"Mira I'm not mad at you I was just hurt at that time, I forgot about what hurt me in the past but I never forgot what it taught me. Take my advice best friend" I said and walked up towards my cute best friend who was sobbing like a little child and I hugged her tightly.

"Cana don't hate Laxus for his past" Mira said and smiled at Laxus.

I nodded

"I'll leave you two to talk" Mira said and ran off like a little girl.

"P. E class" Laxus suddenly blurted out while smirking at me

"Excuse me?" I asked

"It was in p.e class this year the first time you and I talked"

"Yeah" I whispered with a small smile

"You and I got stuck in the balls room, we drank a little bottle of whiskey you had while talking about pain and life" he said

"It was that day when Mira rejected me I felt so hurt but than you accidentally broke the balls rooms door handle and after several of arguments I apologized to you and we became friends" he continued while I giggled.

"It took me so fast to get over Mira" Laxus said and chuckled in a weird way.

"What helped you get over her?" I asked curiously

But he gave out the answer which
I never expected to hear

"You. You helped me get over her" he said and looked me right in the eyes.

I suddenly felt my cheeks heat up

"Liar" I chuckled

"I'm not lying Cana!" He raised his tone

"It was just so easy to be around you! Ya know it was fun and I loved making fun of you and I still do. But man your comebacks made me like you even more! And you're such a rebel which is quite rare for a girl" he said and we both laughed

"It just feels so weird but at the same time so right"

"What?" I asked

"Falling in love with you" he said and lowered his tone.

I waited for this for too freaking long so I did what had to be done in 8th grade.

I grabbed him by the collar and smashed my lips against his, yes sometimes I'm the one to take the first step but, I swear I felt electricity flow through my body when he kissed back with so much passion.

Yes his lips are soft and delicious but before he tries to deepen the kiss I slowly pulled away.

"Will you be my date for the winter formal tomorrow?" I asked dreamily and his eyes suddenly widened.

"Are you crazy? It's my job to ask you that! You're not Erza!" He shouted and pushed me lightly in a joking manner.

"Answer"

"Yes obviously but I'm warning you I'll kiss you right now" he warned and I giggled.

I threw the umbrella that I was holding and put my hands around his neck while feeling the wet and heavy rain drops.

"What are you doing?" He asked while chuckling

"It's raining"

"I know" I replied

"And this is called a rain kiss" I said and pulled him closer to me as I quickly filled the gap that was left between us by kissing his lips passionately.
