Lucy and Natsu left the winter formal
and drove over to Lucy's house.
The blonde girl heard Natsu's conversation with Gajeel and he knows...

AUTHOR'S  P.O.V

"I'm freezing" Natsu complained and jumped on Lucy's coral queen sized bed.

"No Natsu, nah uh you're not going to walk around my house shirtless" Lucy announced.

"But I just took a shower!" The pinkette shrieked

"I do not care you're not going to walk aro" but before the girl could finish off her sentence Natsu walked up to her so close that their noses almost touched. "Why? Bless these abs girl" Natsu taunted.

"Idiot" she growled and sat on the edge of her bed where Natsu was lying as soon as he felt her presence closer he shifted towards her and rested his head on her shoulder the guy couldn't help but sniff her hair the smell reminded him of his childhood when he played in his grandmothers garden that were surrounded by beautiful violet lavenders.

And her shoulders smelt like vanilla and cinnamon an unordinary mixture but it smelled real good.
"You smell good" he whispered from what the girl slightly shivered and suddenly breathing got a little more difficult for the blondie since her dearest friend was far too close. "Natsu?" she said quietly and he met her gaze.

"What do we do now?" She asked while looking at her white socks. "What do you mean? We do what we always did we live, breath, eat, drink, laugh, cry and someday we'll die. So my answer is we'll continue living with our lifecycle" Natsu explained and started playing with the bits of Lucy's hair.

The girl couldn't help but feel a pain in the chest she raised her left hand and slapped the guys arm.
"No" she blurted. "No what?" He asked.

"No you won't hurt me anymore, I've been through enough pain and had many ups and downs with you but mostly there were downs. Best friends don't say that they love each other! Best friends don't cuddle and walk hand in hand in public, best friends do not kiss each other's cheeks when they have feelings for each other. Best friends don't think of each other in an inappropriate way and Gray told me that you did think of me that way. Natsu stop saying that best friends do these stuff because they don't!" She finished off and sighed deeply.

Seeing an angry Lucy yelling and confessing in an oversized shirt was an instant turn on for Natsu.
"Do you even fucking love me?" She asked with her head resting on her hands that were covering her angry and sad face. "I do" she heard him say.
Natsu walked up to Lucy who was sitting in the corner of her bed.

"I really do love you, I love you so much that you're the reason to keep me awake at night. You heard my phone conversation with Lucy, my dear Luce after every word you heard from my mouth how could you ask if I love you? It's not love that I feel for you but obsession and I'm so obsessed that it's dangerous" he grabbed her wrist and put it on his heart.

"Feel that beat?" She nodded

"Well it's beating for you, it's beating because I'm nervous and excited to be around you. It's beating because I'm scared of ruining this perfect moment." Natsu explained while she had her other hand on his jaw. "I love you too" she whispered and put her hand off his heart.

"Tell me Luce how does your heart beat for me?"

"Let me show you"

Lucille grabbed Natsu's left hand and put it on her chest she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. As soon as her eyes closed his cheeks turned pink then Natsu did what his hormones forced him to do.
He sat on his knees and cocked his head to the side, looking at something he wasn't supposed to look at.
"Luce" he whispered and leaned closer to her, she opened her brown orbs and gazed at the guy with surprise and desire.
