When people think of Adonis Olympios, the image they get is a womaniser prince who spends most of his life breaking hearts. Whilst that reputation has elements of truth, who Adonis actually is is a lot more complicated than that. Let's start with the truth within his reputation. Adonis is always looking for something to help him calm his troubled head, and his main go-to's are alcohol and sex. The liquor helps dull his thoughts, makes his usually racing mind settle into quiet bliss. And hey, sleeping with people is certainly a stress reducer. But for Adonis, it isn't just the sex. He is a seducer, a charmer, a devil with lips made of sugar. Part of the fun is the chase. The teasing, the flirting, the testing boundaries. But whilst physical intimacy is something he's all too acquainted with, emotional intimacy is a whole other matter. The thought of someone knowing him, truly knowing him, all his thoughts and fears and pain, it absolutely terrifies him. He had that once and lost it, and he can't bare to go through that again. Time has changed Adonis, though it wouldn't be noticeable to anyone unless they'd known him before. Whilst younger Adonis had a sort of softness to him if one tried hard enough to find it, Adonis now is... sharper. Harder. •Being Alone ~ perhaps less of a fear and more of a strong dislike, but the effect is the same. Adonis seeks out the company of others at every possible opportunity. Being left alone with his mind for too long never ends well.
•Drowning ~ Adonis has a quite deep fear of deep water and drowning, though he's not entirely sure why. He hates the sea because of this, and avoids it like the plague.
•Being Unlovable ~ He certainly has reason to believe that is the case. Let's just say past romance hasn't gone well for him. Perhaps this is the reason he likes to keep everyone at arms length, just to be on the safe side.

||Recurring Nightmare||
Adonis stands by the window in an apartment, looking out into the street below. The apartment is cosy, decorated in a way that feels like home to anyone who enters. He exhales, watching as his breath fogs the glass, warm air recoiling as it meets the frigid window. Soft footsteps come up behind him, and a pair of delicate arms wrap themselves around his waist. He chuckles, pulling them further around him as the warmth from the girl behind him seeps into his back. He turns to see her face, her gorgeous face, but when he looks down at her, blood is pouring out of her grinning mouth, drip drip dripping down her dress into the wooden floorboards below. He goes to pull her closer, panic clouding his mind as his heart beats louder and louder in his chest, but before he can reach her, a hand from behind her grabs her hair and yanks her back into darkness. Adonis goes to run after her, but his feet are tied to the floor, and as he tries to yank them free, something heavy and hard hits his head and he wakes up, chest heaving.
