TEN

Have you ever had that gut wrenching feeling. The churning in your stomach, the aching pain that starts to form in your head as you wake up?

Bad feelings are like a fever. You feel the effects in your body, they impede you from behaving normally, and the only thing you can do at that point, is for it to pass by.

Those feelings always came right after something good happens or when you became to happy, and when it does hit, you lose every bit of your emotions. You were supposed to be prepared for it. You even began to see signs that it was going to happen.

Maybe you just wanted to pretend it wasn't happening? Maybe you were lying to yourself that everything was going to be alright at the very end.

"I'm heading out" You placed on your shoes, ready to zoom away and disappear for the whole day, a nice, calm and simple day.

That's how it was supposed to be.

That's how it should have been.

That very care that you and Woojin chose was a special place. At least that what it should have been.

But this time, it wasn't with you.

The hand that was once raised to wave towards him, lowered itself as you feel your eyes fall to the ground. You felt that all to familiar feeling again. It was always such a sickening feeling. Your hand goes straight to your chest. That dropping feeling that would go straight to your stomach.

The only thing you could even think of at that moment was, why?

Was he happier with her than when he was with you? Did he not love you anymore? You wanted to clear all those thoughts from your head, but you just couldn't. You must be misunderstanding...

Yeah, that's right.

You lift your head up, watching them inches from entering the cafe before they both turned to each other in a short moment, Woojin leans down before kissing that said women who stands just below him.

He said he loved you but he's holding another women with the hands that held you. The lips that were on yours before, now resting on hers. Were you just some joke to him? Did he really expect to get away from having another relationship?

Then it clicked. Humans. Humans are the worst being in the world. You remember it clear as day now.

Humans are vile, they cheat, con, kill and repeat. It was such as simple feat for them. And as easy as it was for them to do that, it was easy for them to get away with it.

Your fingers clutch tighter into your palm, blood drawing itself from your nails.

Why didn't you see the signs... No, you didn't think it was that you didn't see it.

He just knew how to deceive you better. When did it all start?

How long has it been going on for?

Ah, maybe far before you even begin to date. Hard to say, maybe you were just his side in the first place.

If it's as simple for him to cheat, it'll be as simple as to walk it off. Right?

──

"You always choose the worst moments to show up, don't you?" Your hands wrap around your knees, pulling them close to your chest as you sat down next to a tree. Feet shuffled behind you before settling themselves next to your form, sitting down as well.

"Such harsh words don't fit you." You roll your eyes as you spoke up, "What do you want anyways. I'm sure you're up to no good today either." A soft sigh leaves his lips as he turns his head to face you.

"Can I not enjoy the scenery?" He asks as you turn to face him. "Hah, very funny. No you cannot. Go bother someone else if you don't have anything else to do." You spat as you scrunch your brow and face away from him again.

He hums lowly before resting an arm on his knee, palm against his cheek to hold up his head. Eyes still scanning your expression.

"Judging by how you're acting, I'm sure it's nothing good. Was it that boyfriend of yours?"

He struck it like gold. Always knew what was up and it pissed you off. He read you like a book.

"Ex. Boyfriend." You mentioned sturdily as you rest your chin on your knees still.

"Nothing good comes to those who seek an easy life. I guess that applies to me to." He stays silent as you begin to rant.

"I guess I knew this was going to happen eventually. I was doing my hardest to hide it, but that also came back to bite me in the ass." I mutter as my eyes close, my breath steady before I open my eyes again.

"Do you also think I screwed up?" Your voice begins to creak, very subtle but Taehyung catches it.

Although you weren't even turning to look at him, he shakes his head. "You do what you can do. And this is true with every action you take. You may say you should have done this or that, but honestly in the end, nothing could prepare you for what was going to happen. I don't think you screwed up at all." He states calmly.

He was right.

Nothing was going to prepare you for this.

Your head immediately tucks into your knees as you bite your tongue. There it was again. That tugging, stinging feeling.

"Right... Well anyways, I'm feeling better. You can leave now." Your voice spoke fast as you rushed your sentences.

It was starting to get ugly and it was only going to get worse.

These ugly, useless...

Feelings.
