On the 23rd of November 1963, the members of the Umbrella Academy went to war against the Commission, a group of heavily armed admins and assassins under the control of The Handler. Despite the hail of gunfire and brief moments of no hope, the siblingsย band together to put an end to the madness once and for all. And were able to return to their original timeline.

Or... so they all thought.

With final confirmation from his siblings, Five flicked the switch on the briefcase, and they all disappeared with a single blue flash. About a split second later, they appeared in the entry room of The Academy. "Wh-what day is it?" Allison asked, looking towards Five, who skimmed through the headlining newspaper. "April 2nd, 2019, the day after the apocalypse," he answered, making them all cheer and hug one another. "How about we all celebrate with a drink? Whiskeys on me!" Klaus offered. "Maybe I should go look for Claire," Allison sighed, looking towards the front doors.

"Come on, Alli! At least one drink?" Dusk persuaded, pulling on her sister's hand. Klaus joined in on the fun, taking Allison's other hand and leading her into the living room. "Oh, alright! But just one drink!" She caved in. As they all gathered in the living room, Diego spotted something different from the last time they were in the house. "Why is there a painting of Ben over the mantelpiece?"

A squeaking noise came from one of the chairs in the room, along with the sound of a scruffy voice. "I knew you'd show up eventually," it spoke, standing up to reveal it was Reginald. "Dad? You're alive," Luther stated, his jaw slightly hung open. "Why shouldn't I be?"ย How is he still alive? He's supposed to be dead!ย

"Y-you're right. We're just happy that we're home and together as a family again," Dusk stuttered, trying to comprehend the right words. "Home? This isn't your home," Reginald stated. "What are you talking about? This is the Umbrella Academy!" Allison said, wondering if Reginald was acting delusional.

"Wrong again. This is the Sparrow Academy," Footsteps came from the upper level, stopping at the railing. The Hargreeves siblings all looked up to see the shadows of six figures, one of them being that of a glowing cube. Another pair of footsteps entered the room with another voice sounding oh-so-familiar. "Dad, who the hell are these assholes?"

The shock was becoming too much, for the siblings were in yet another predicament. They had not returned home but ended up in some alternate universe where their brother Ben was still alive.

"Shit,"
