Right off the bat Dylan is a very cheerful and happy boy. He loves to have fun and he's very bubbly and adorable. He has an innocent nature and he can be oblivious sometimes. He's smart, sweet, caring and loving. He wouldn't even hurt a fly. Some people actually find it hard to believe that he's a vampire because he's soft and because he doesn't act like one. He shows emotion and humanity. He shows that he cares. He's supportive, understanding and comforting. He loves to motivate and inspire others to be confident and strong. He has a heart of gold. He has a love for animals and has shown that a few times. He can be snappy, sassy and fiesty when he's in a bad mood and he can be abit flirty when he wants to be. Other than that Dylan is just a cute and sensitive goofball who needs love

Dominic Cortez- Dylans father - alive - he's a vampire - he was born a vampire.

Nikita Miller - Dylans mother figure  - raised Dylan after his father left him on her doorstep because he was supposedly human. She helped him through his transformation from human to vampire and comforted him. -she's human.

Elliot (my other vamp oc) - Dylans cousin - he hasn't seen him in quite a long time but he recently found out Elliot is dating a werewolf and he's cool with it.

Damien Cortez - Dylans older brother - alive and a vampire - hates Dylan and doesn't want anything to do with him.

Dylans father and mother met when she rescued him from hunters. She nursed dylans father back to health. Dylans father dominic freaked out while she was nursing him back to health and revealed his fangs to her but she wasn't scared and wanted to know more about him.

The two eventually fell in love and got married and about 2 weeks after their honeymoon, Dylans mother Victoria found out she was pregnant. Dylans father dominic was happy about this but knew that his loving and beautiful wife wouldn't survive childbirth and that broke him greatly.

Nine months later Victoria gave birth to a baby boy whom they named Dylan. He was beautiful and small and he looked quite human. Sadly Victoria didn't make it because the birth of Dylan killed her.

Dylans father changed that day. He hated Dylan and blamed him for his mother's death and he also hated that Dylan was supposedly human. He neglected Dylan, never loved him and hurt him constantly. It got so bad that child protective services were called more than once.

Not wanting to deal with child protection services again, Dylans father put dylan who was only a couple weeks old in a box, taped it up and then dumped him on the door step of his house maid Nikita.

Nikita found the box on her doorstep and she just thought it was a package from a relative until she heard Dylans tiny cries.

Shocked, she brought the package inside and opened it, horrified to find 2 week old Dylan inside it. She decided to raise Dylan as her own which is what she did

Dylan grew up under the guidence of Nikita and he saw her as his mother. She looked after him well and loved him very much. When Dylan was 12, he transformed into a vampire. It was painful but Nikita was there to help him and comfort him through it.

She taught him control and even how to retract his fangs. She was a good mother to him and he loved her very much. Dylan is now 23 years old and he still lives with her. Nikita is elderly now and he continues to look after her and care for her like she used to care for him. She still cares for him.

Dylan works as a bartender at night and on weekends he works as a cafe cashier in order to pay the bills for the house and Nikita's medical bills since she has alot of health issues as well as maintain the house. His jobs don't pay much but he makes as much as he can. It's also how he met nick but that's a story for another time.

He does earn abit extra at his bartender job. How? When his shift ends, He services guys with his mouth and they pay him and if he does it really well, they pay him double. It's not something he wants to do but he needs the money.. And no one knows that he does this. Dylan hasn't seen his father in years and he has seen his brother Damien but he made it clear that he doesn't want anything to do with Dylan and he hates Dylan but Dylan doesn't let that stop him from living his life
