Shepard is the perfect combination of his parents tanner and Brett. He is soft and sweet as well as loving like his mother tanner and he's flirty, sassy and fiesty like his father Brett but that is when you get to really know him and when he's comfortable talking to you because he's a mute and it's considered rare if he talks. Shepard is understanding, supportive and caring. He cares about others and likes helping others less fortunate. Hes a very talented singer and guitar player but he hasn't sang in years due to reasons he keeps to himself. Shepard can be stubborn when he wants to be but it's not at a level where it becomes a problem. Like his father, Shepard has a short temper and when he gets angry, he tends to punch whatever made him angry but if it's a person that made him angry, then he goes to another room to calm down or he plays guitar because it helps with his emotions especially his anger. He actually writes really good songs when he's angry which he thinks is because the flame in him is alight when he's angry. Other than that Shepard is a sweetheart who tries his best to make people happy.
