seven ; group two
sora got to class the next day - chemistry, in particular - and saw san on his phone, thumbs typing away furiously. she hurried to her own desk in a state of worriment, and silenced her phone.
at that moment, her phone lit up with a message from san. sora sighed, happy that she acted fast.
after waiting a while, sora opened the message from san. but she apparently waited too long. the professor, mr. do, entered the room before she could reply.

sora's heart felt heavy as the teacher told everyone to put their phones away, feeling bad since she left san response-less. surely, he'd understand, though.
"i'll now be pairing everyone up into groups of three, okay? no complaining. after, pick a group leader to grab the information packet." mr. do announced, earning muffled groans from the class.
sora crosses her fingers, not knowing if she wanted to be paired with san or not. she'd loved being with him, but was it a good idea?
the universe decided for her, and mr. do said, "group two is park sora, jeong yunho, and... choi san!"
she put her head down on the desk in fear, worrying about the worst. it really happened. she was officially in a group project with san, stuck by his side for two weeks. the boy named yunho instantly went to her desk and tapped her on the arm.
"oh great, san. looks like we'll be doing all the work." yunho sighed. "she's asleep."
sora looked up and frowned at yunho, "i'm not, i'm just... sick."
he nodded, "oh, lady problems. got it."
whatever that meant, sora blinked slowly at him in disbelief. she turned to san, who had been standing there without her knowing how long. her face reddened in a flash, and she looked down.
san told them, "i have the instructions. we have to build a large interactive model of the periodic table within two weeks."
"two weeks is perfect. everyone, let's do our best." yunho smiled like a kid. sora could tell he was just as outgoing as san, and it didn't surprise her that they were good friends and both members of the dance team.
san glanced at sora, to which she just nodded, "fighting..."
"okay, should we start now? maybe we could write up a blueprint." suggested san.
yunho pulled out paper, and san and sora got to work with their brains and pencils. yunho wasn't the brightest in the class, but he helped where he could.
san leaned over the table and he got a little too close to sora. she blinked rapidly and held her breath, but he was innocently grabbing a different colored pencil to sketch with. god, she needed to loosen up.
when the bell rang after a very, very awkward first day of projects, san immediately pulled his phone out of his pocket. it seemed like his number one priority, and he was texting his kitten in particular.
sora panicked. grabbing her things speedily, she left them to clean up the papers and ran out of the classroom. her worst fear as of now was san finding out by seeing her phone screen light up or hear its vibration.
yunho rolled his eyes, "san, will you help me clean? sora is no help."
"yeah, one second... i gotta text my girl." he mindlessly replied, his fingers typing away at his phone.
sighing, yunho told san, "tell her to hold on for one second because her boyfriend is needed elsewhere."
"fine, fine." san stubbornly put his phone away again. "i just thought about her and wanted to say hi."
"that's sweet. are you dating yet?" asked yunho.
san shook his head, blushing, "don't freak out, but i don't even know her name yet."
"oh, my. all i'm gonna say is... yikes." he said.
"don't worry," nodded san knowingly, "i have a plan to figure out who she is..."
