"You want to get a concussion?"

    "No, I want to go hiking," Nya corrected her brother. The two stood on the steps outside the monastery, Nya regretting telling Kai where she was taking him.

    "They're synonymous!" Kai exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.

    "Killjoy," Nya muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes.

    "I'll show you MY version of hiking," Kai offered with an almost mischievous grin, holding out his hand to her.

    "I should be concerned, but I'm bored," Nya took her brother's hand as they descended the steps into the downtown area of the city.

    "CAB!!" Kai screamed at the top of his lungs, earning strange looks from passersby.

    "Why do I have to be related to you," Nya groaned as a taxi pulled up and Kai yanked her by the arm into the vehicle.

    "Take me to....you know where," he winked at the driver, who mirrored his evil smile.

    "Do you....know her?" Nya asked, her brows furrowed together.

    "You could say that," the driver said, lifting their hat and revealing a familiar face.

    "Skylor!!!" Nya gasped. The amber ninja's fiery locks spilled out from underneath the baseball cap she was wearing. "You drive taxis?" Nya inquired, even more confused than before.

    "It's a part time gig. Driving around the entire city, you'd be surprised by the secrets us drivers hold," her eyes sparkled mysteriously, then turned back to the wheel as they came to a halt.

    "Bye Skylor!!" Nya exclaimed, waving with one hand while Kai seized the other. Nya looked up at the building in front of them.

    "Seriously?" The sign above them boasted 'Ninjago's best arcade,' and Kai quickly dragged her inside.

    "Hiking is fun when you do it here," he winked at her before, for the millionth time, dashing off, still holding her tightly. They stopped in front of a video game called Hike of Death.

    "So that's where you get your morbid ideas about hiking from," Nya laughed.

    "Nah, that's from common sense," Kai rolled his eyes while smiling, and pulled out arcade cards. They swiped the cards into the machine, and the game started up.

    "Wait-what is this?!" Nya asked in a panic, her eyes darting around the screen.

    "Just do what it says," Kai reassured her.

    A message appeared on the screen saying "press the up arrow to jump over obstacles, and the down arrow to go under. Hit a tree, and you're dead. First one to the end wins. Ready....set...go!!!"

    "Cya at the finish line!" Kai taunted, racing off.

    "Hey!!" Nya exclaimed. She quickly leaned into the machine, and aggressively clicked the down button. Kai, on the other hand, was just spamming the up button and somehow not landing on top of trees.

    "No one's ever beat me at this. I'm too skilled," Kai bragged.

    "More like reckless," Nya elbowed him, then quickly moved her arm back to jump over a random log.

    "Oh yeah? Then slide under that branch!!" Kai challenged, knowing full well that the obstacle blocking her character was a bush she had to jump over.

    "Nice try," Nya smiled confidently, not making the mistake of looking up to smirk at him.

    "That always works," Kai muttered, proceeding to spam the buttons unnecessarily.

    The competition continued, and they had both gone farther than anyone else that had ever used the machine.

    "Good luck winning!" Nya said in an attempt to trash talk.

    "I don't need luck-WAIT!!" Kai, who hadn't taken his finger off the buttons, had accidentally landed on top of the bush, classifying him as the loser.

    "WHAT!?!?" He fumed, "but no one ever beats me!!!"

    "You sure about that?" Nya smirked victoriously.

    "How did you DO that!?!?" Kai asked, his rage quickly turning to a combination of shock and interest.

    "Water-ninja reflexes," she bragged. Kai rolled his eyes in response.

    "You know what, why not go hiking for real?" Kai suggested. "This is boring, anyway."

    "No, thanks," Nya smiled, "I don't want to get a concussion."
