ONE?!

taehyun's hand felt warm in hers, his thumb caressing her hand every so often. the group of six were in japan for their world tour, but had a day off. sakura decided it would be fun to show her boyfriend around her childhood neighborhood.

the feeling was unusual. she didn't want to say it was nostalgia, but it felt something like that. she walked hand-in-hand with him, trying her best to find the playground she used to love. she recalled the path she took, and finally found her way to it.

she pointed under the monkey bars, "i broke my arm right there. since then, i've been too scared to go on monkey bars." she heard him slightly giggle, but accidentally cut him off. "ooh! i got a concussion there!" she pointed to the end of the slide.

he looked at her, genuinely confused. "i never knew you got a concussion.... how do you even get one from a slide?" she laughed at his actual interest in the subject. "i was climbing on top of it and fell at the highest point. it hurt like shit but i felt super cool because i didn't have to go to school for like, a week."

he laughed, staring at the girl with a smile full of pure adoration. they moved on to the next stop, her old elementary school. she didn't even mean to lead him in that direction, she just found herself at the entrance. she stopped with a gasp, finally realizing where they were.

"i met my best friend right there," she pointed at a large maple tree. "it was during recess. i didn't have anyone to play with, and she sat with me," sakura explained further. taehyun replied with an interested hum, scanning the area.

something had caught his eye. he didn't mean to point, but someone was approaching. "who's that?" he asked, as it seemed whoever it was knew sakura. she shrugged as she couldn't see whoever it was clearly. as they got closer, she let out yet another gasp.

"ms. kobayashi...." she trailed off, bowing repeatedly. she definitely did not expect to meet her old principal today. a few greetings were exchanged, as taehyun stood there awkwardly, making minimal conversation. he understood a lot of it, but wasn't too confident with the language. he suddenly perked up, though.

"if you guys have kids, are you going to send them to school here on in korea?" the woman asked. "well, when we have kids i think we might send them to school in korea. i'm not too sure, though," sakura replied. he tried to insert himself in the conversation, but his mind was elsewhere. he could only focus on the 'when.'

TWO?!

the breeze was just right, only every-so-often giving sakura chills. the sun shone bright, but it barely affected her. the large, beautiful, tree she was sat under provided her with the shade she needed.

she wasn't quite sure why she was out in the first place, maybe she was just desperate for some fresh air. life was busy and felt overwhelming, maybe she just needed a break. sitting with her thoughts was this break.

she moved her gaze up from the grass and to the figure making it's way towards her. it was taehyun. he was carrying a book and sat down next to her. he didn't say anything and simply began reading.

she appreciated his presence. his breathing was calm, she watched his chest rise and fall numerous times. he felt her eyes on him and blushed, deciding not to acknowledge it.

she started to read over his shoulder, but got bored almost immediately. she realized then that reading was definitely not for her. she looked around, unsure of what to do. she would stare at the boy some more, but she didn't want to distract him.

she looked around, fumbling around with old and crunchy leaves. a few flowers suddenly caught her eye, and she crawled her way towards them. she plucked them out of the ground and returned back to her seat next to her boyfriend.

she slowly weaves the stems through each other, trying her best to make a flower crown. it took a while, but she ended up making something that resembled a flower crown enough to satisfy her.

at first, she put in on her own head. but she quickly realized that was stupid. instead, she slowly placed it on taehyun's. she watched as his lips curled onto a shy smile.

THREE?!

the constant waves off the ocean crashing into the and became a comforting background noise. the darkness of the night gave the beach an aura she hoped she would never forget- how could she?

the moon lit up the ocean and the stars were sprinkled across the sky. the beach became a mix off dark blue and white. she would've taken a picture, but her focus was elsewhere. the boy beside her.

he looked ethereal. the wind blew his hair ever so slightly, but he somehow managed to pull it off. his eyes followed the ocean, her eyes followed him. she couldn't look away even if she was given money not to.

"how many kids do you want?" he suddenly asked. she was caught by surprise, and struggled to speak in response. she was asked this question millions of times before, but she couldn't help it. "i-i-i want, uh, one or two, maybe. i'm not really, um, sure. what about you?" he laughed at her flustered state.

"you're cute. i want two or three. oh! we can get a cat too, cause i don't think hobak will be alive then... even if he's alive, we can get more." she nodded, "can we get a dog too?" he giggled, ruffling her hair. "of course."

"where do you wanna go for our honeymoon?" yet again, his question shocked her. "you haven't even proposed yet, plan that first!" she teased, but he didn't laugh with her. his lips turned into a firm, straight line.

worried she hurt his feelings, she began to apologize. "i-i didn't mean it like that, hyun, im sorry-" but he cut her off, "what if i already have?"

FOUR?!

rain raged against the window, the dark clouds looming over the even darker night sky. the consistent pelting of drops onto the window made it hard for sakura to no go outside. she loved the rain with all her heart.

"love?" he called out for his girlfriend. his voice echoed through the apartment, and she tore her eyes off the window. "yeah?" she yelled back, making her way out of their shared bedroom. it felt surreal that they had their own apartment.

she found the boy in the foyer, dressed in a heavy jacket with a speaker in hand. "come outside with me." he didn't have to ask her twice. she, as quickly as possible, threw on a jacket and shoes. she didn't ask about the speaker, despite her curiosity.

they walked hand-in-hand onto the street, but taehyun abruptly stopped. almost bumping into his back, she stumbled next to him. he set down the speaker and connected his phone to it. she suddenly understood what he was doing.

she watched over his shoulder as he opened spotify, and pressed play on his "dancing in the rain" playlist. she couldn't tell whatever song was playing, but she enjoyed the vibe. it was playful and loving at the same time.

they danced around stupidly for a while, belting out random lyrics and high notes. the rain got heavier and heavier but it did nothing to disturb the couple. it only made them want to stay outside for even longer.

the vibe quickly changed with the song. it was a slower one. his hands unconsciously gravities their way to her hips. she wrapped her arms around the back of his neck. the next thing she knew, she was being spun around.

taehyun asked her to slow dance with him, which sheΒ Β  happily said yes to. they didn't speak, letting the music consume them. she came closer, resting her head on his shoulder. he spoke quietly into her ear. "i love you."
