sakura considered herself lucky for being in a relationship during moments like these. she laid in bed with the man she loved the most, his arms circling around her waist. taehyun was still fast asleep.

from the comfort of their bed, she could watch the snow fall outside the window. everything was perfect. the air conditioner was on the perfect temperature, the weather was perfect, and she was cuddling with the most perfect person she'd ever met. how could she ask for more?

the white and blank land was, despite how often she'd seen it, entrancing. she didn't want to step in the coated streets, rather watch as the snow began to pile up, up, and up.

she felt her boyfriend begin to stir, and she couldn't help but smile. she loved early morning talks with him, when he lazily smiled and when he drew circles on her back.

she watched as his eyes fluttered open. "good morning," he greeted, his voice gruff. "good morning. how'd you sleep?" he smiled, "well, i had a dream about you and i. we were both royalty and became the rulers of this majestic land where everything was fair. everyone loved and respected us," he explained.

she nodded in amusement, "wow, i wish." he giggled slightly, "what about you? how'd you sleep? how long have you been up?" "i slept well, yeah. i've been up for maybe half an hour? i've been watching the snow."

attempting to get up, the boy pulled her back down. "five more minutes," he grumbled into her back. she didn't protest and relaxed into his embrace. the two both knew it would be way longer than only five minutes, but they chose to ignore it. who cares about being productive when you could be with your lover?

after way longer than expected, the girl finally forced herself to get up. "i'm getting ready, you should too," she advised, ignoring the way her heart desired to go back to bed with her boyfriend.

he hummed in acknowledgment, "do you wanna go out in the snow?" he asked, following her figure enter the bathroom. grabbing her toothbrush, she immediately nodded. she loved the snow with her whole heart.

suddenly anticipating the day ahead of her, she hurriedly washed her face and got ready. by the time taehyun had willed himself out of the comfort of their bed, she was already ready to leave.

"you're so cute," he mused. she blushed, "shut up." he only laughed in response, "i won't take too long okay? wait here."

he wasn't lying, and she had only scrolled through instagram for a few minutes before he stood in front of her. she happily grabbed his hand as the couple made their way out the door and onto the street.

it was a calm day, no paparazzi or fans, just the two. the snow made the atmosphere so much more relaxing, she felt truly at peace. the warmth of taehyun's hand on hers was enough to combat the cold weather.

the snowflakes danced across the sky, some landing in her hair. the path in front of the two was littered with the many snowflakes. every step made a satisfying crunch noise. she got happier with each step she took.

"baby, look," she pointed at a nearby coffee shop. "it's empty and they sell hot chocolate. do you want to get?" she offered. she smiled as he happily said "of course."

the two made their way to the coffee shop in a matter of seconds, just then realizing how cold it really was. the aroma was enticing as soon as they walked in, pastries and coffee matched very well scent-wise.

the two took a seat on the bar next to the open window, facing the park full of snow. after receiving their mugs, the two sat in silence watching. as long as they were in the presence of each other, they could do anything.

"take my marshmallows," she said, giving the multiple marshmallows from her hot chocolate to him. he smiled, took a bite of one, and put the rest in his hot cocoa.

she didn't know when they left the coffee shop, but she was suddenly aware that she was laying in soft snow. in the midst of making a snow angel, she watched as taehyun laid down next to her to do the same.

as they both got up, she drew a heart with her fingers in the snow around the two shadows. taehyun then added their initials at the bottom. "aww," she cooed at his cute addition. "it's because we'll be lovers even in the afterlife."

her heart melted at the sweet gesture, "forever and always, tyun." he smiled and stuck out his hand to be he held. picking his hand back in hers, the couple made their way home.

after taking a warm shower and setting the heater on the highest level, taehyun and sakura were back in bed. the television was on, playing a kdrama they began to watch together.

she made it through a few episodes, but after a long day of being in the cold, she began feeling tired. she didn't let herself doze off, promising the boy she was just resting her eyes. he knew she would definitely fall asleep, but didn't bother.

his assumption was proven correct shortly after. "i feel like they're actually in the wrong here. their friend was just being nice and now they're getting upset... what do you think?" when he was met with silence, he looked towards the girl.

she was asleep, her breathing soft and slow. her chest rose and fell in a pattern, and he couldn't help but take a photo of the endearing sight. he considered himself lucky during moments like these.

not wanting to possibly wake up his girlfriend, he shut the television off as the episode came to a close. he got in a comfortable position which still involved physical contact with sakura.

he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, whispering, "i love you, forever and always, goodnight."
