# FIRST SCANDAL

once it was revealed that there would be a female member of the group, netizens immediately did a background check on the girl.

a twitter user claimed that sakura used to go to her school in kyoto and was famous for following bts around. the rumors began to spread like wildfire.

in an attempt to salvage the reputation and gather more fans for their upcoming group, bighit denied the rumors. within their statement, they proved that she actually went to school in osaka.

the user apologized for their actions without an explanation. it didn't bother sakura herself too much, she was worried about the group instead.

however, she was quickly reassured by the members that it wouldn't do anything to their reputation. they were right, as the group still received immense support from netizens and new fans alike.

sakura was overworked. when the members would get breaks, she wouldn't. when the members were able to eat, she couldn't. she had to practice all day, everyday she could. how else could she be as good as the boys?

she would barely get any sleep at night, and she was at one of the lowest points of her life. with the forced dieting, no days off, and basically no one to talk to, it took a huge toll on her health. both mentally and physically.

she grew more tired with every passing day, and before promotions even started she felt like she could collapse at any second. it didn't get any better as around that time she was clinically diagnosed with depression.

everything in her path made it hard to perform with 100% effort. of course she tried her hardest, but she didn't push herself when she was in pain. during a performance of puma, netizens noticed how she wasn't putting enough energy into the dance.

most moas came to her defense, but some just wouldn't back down. she would get hate on every social media platform, and just decided it would be best to delete her socials. at least now she knows how sensitive netizens can be.

the duo would be seen together much more in the back of 'behind the scenes' or 'to do' episodes. the attention wasn't too crazy, and the rumors didn't spread that far.

that was until moas made taehyun's blurred lockscreen clear, and figured out it was sakura. this immediately made fans go insane, and it was one of the largest dating scandals most of them had ever seen.

a few days later and after multiple meetings with the company, the couple chose to reveal that they were in fact dating. and had been for a year. they were overwhelmed with support and love from everyone, they honestly didn't expect it.

now, the two are more of a private couple. sure, every once in a while they'll do something romantic on camera, but they mostly save everything else for their own time.

sakura was chosen to be studio choom's "artist of the month" for december of 2021. she was given the song "need to know" by doja cat, and learned a more sensual, mature dance.

many people loved watching the dance, as they had never seen that side of sakura before. however, that didn't stop netizens from finding something to attack her for.

txt's whole brand was basically about appealing to the youths, and here, sakura, one of the most influential members of the group, was dancing sexily  to a very lewd song at only 21 years old.

they complained that it set a bad example for their younger audience, and that sakura should've debuted with an older group if she wanted to be involved with music like that.

sakura found the scandal very funny. she thought parents should be monitoring their kids watch history instead of making her change for the children. she was growing up, for gods sake. and honestly, she was pretty sure that kids older than 13 knew what sex was. she wasn't doing anything to take away their innocence if they already lost it a long time ago.

# FIFTH SCANDAL

as the days after their comeback went by, sakura began to feel worse and worse. she was used to it, of course, but it never felt good. it's like she gets a source of happiness when performing, but afterwards it's back to nothing.

she was desperate to talk to fans, just to revive that rush of energy and hopefulness she needed. it wasn't that easy, however. to simply go live she needed to get a bunch of staff to monitor her every action. which is why she didn't tell the staff before going live.

on said vlive, it started out fine. as time passed, she began talking about more serious and sad topics. eventually, she said something along the lines of "i'm so tired of this, i just want to go home."

this made netizens attack her, bashing her for having a great job and still complaining. she honestly found the whole situation laughable, but the company forced her to apologize for 'her sake.'

she made an excuse saying she was just homesick and didn't take her medication that day ( seriously! ). she also said that she loves her life and wouldn't do anything to change it.
