Welcome to the interview, without anymore late, let's get started.

May we know a few words about yourself?

I'm an 18 year old Forensic Science student who may be a silly writer in spare time but finds aweird thrill in crime series.

2) When did you Start writing either on this platform or in the normal way?

I had started writing since I turned 11 but I never thought someday I'd write a whole novel until Iturned 16. So yeah, I discovered Wattpad when I was 16 and I still remember my first book was
total crap.

Well we all think our first work is crap but it's still very close to our hearts hehe…

That's actually true.

3)What is your motivation to write?

Definitely it's the support of my very loving readers. The days when I feel too drained out or something, I just look at all the precious and long comments of love my readers write for me.. as a writer it feels so good that maybe not a 100 but one person is waiting
for me to post a chapter and it'll bring a huge smile on their face when they read it.

Readers are our inspiration so we work even better for them…

4) How do you feel when you got to know you are the winner?

Haha... Tbh this may sound a bit cliche but I was literally surprised, since I had checked the books I was competing against so when I saw my name for the first place I was like How?????

I mean there were so many better books than mine That's literally everybody's reaction . We just can't believe that we won!!! Even if days passed.

Exactly. I think that for an author, his/her book is the least favorite. Every second book I saw in the contest seemed like I am Majnu bhai competing against Picasso

5) Did you ever face criticism? If yes how did you overcome it?

Yes I did and I'm actually happy that the readers who didn't like a few things of my book pointed them out without sugar coating it and if we talk about how I overcame it, I just edited the things
that didn't sit right and I'm trying not to repeat the same errors again. After all, facing criticism is the first step to becoming better.

Sometimes criticism is actually for our good we shouldn't always take them in negative way

6) When did you come across this genre of Fanfiction category?

So this is so silly, I'm actually embarrassed to say but I remember it happened in summer vacation and I had literally nothing to do so I was just surfing through the internet and came
across a 2011 show Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon. And personally I'm not a big fan when it comes to ITV but the onscreen chemistry of Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani was so amazing that I found myself reading more and more on them and one moment I was watching their clips and
the other I was reading a fanfic on the same.

Maybe our Indian drama's are cringy but they serve the best couple romance…

7) What was your opinion on our awards? And how we hosted them?

Not sugar coating just because I won them *winks* but I sincerely appreciate your team's efforts. The timeline of the awards was so calculated that even when some judge (me especially) delayed in giving the result card, you guys didn't have the contestants waiting. They
got the results on . And special claps for the graphic designing team, the stickers are soamazing, they'd literally go with all types of covers. Also, I have to say this. Teenfix community members are really humble and sweet.❤️

8) How do you handle writer block?

I am the worst at handling writer block but initially I am following this really cool technique where I'll find a nice book like rn I'm reading Atomic habits and I will set goals for me just like how we
do it in studies like I can read the next 2 pages only when I write 100 words. So the curiosity of reading ahead makes me write ahead. And for me some old cases also do the job. I just switch on you tube and find some old casesand try to look for clues and evidence.

You know the classic reward technique 😂

9) Do you plan on taking writing as a profession? If yes, what are your plans for it?

Uh- Not really. As for now, I'm more into Forensics and I just want it to be my full time career but maybe if I get a good opportunity and have time for myself, I'd definitely put writing into consideration. But for now, it's a hobby that makes me feel happy and relaxed.

10) What was your response when you first published this book?

I was a little apprehensive because when I wrote this book I had initially written it for another platform and was planning to sign for an exclusive contract but then a few of my readers changed my mind and I ended up signing the non exclusive one.

But till the date I'm not able to digest that my book is doing so well that it crossed more than 100K views.  And more than the views, I'm happy that among all these books at least I have successfully
managed to stand out by writing a book which doesn't have even a single inch of toxicity and for which I'm really proud of myself.

Writing a box when you don't have any toxicity while reading and watching toxic things is just>>>

Haha.. I am slightly opinionated on this.. I can't really stand toxic characters. I couldn't stand ASR in the start even though he had his reasons for how he reacted to everything.

And tbh I've also acted toxic in some or the other way somewhere in the past and I am actually working hard not to be the same again.

Now here you speak facts we often try to normalize. It's ok, it 's just a TV show but what we read or watch or see actually depends on our behavior…

11) As a writer what your biggest strength and weakness?

My biggest strength is I have my readers' support and although I can't put it as a weakness I really face difficulty when I don't get satisfied with my storyline. I'm someone who doesn't have a rough sketch of what she writes, whatever I write one day will be totally opposite to what I write the next. So my weakness is if you give me a restricted plot that Ankita you have this this character, this is the plot and you have to complete it in this specific timeline and words, then no
I'm the last person who can do this.

As a child, when I'd to do all that story writing stuff within 200-250 words, I had to stop myself from writing in a flow. I'd always cross the word limit.

We don't have words to reach a specific limit or we have too many words...
Problem of every writer.

12) Any advice you would like to give to teenagers out there?

Don't compare yourself with others. You are the best as you are and most importantly Always love and respect yourself.

I'd love to but I really don't have the time in my hands. But whenever I feel that I can devote myself to a community, teenfix would be the first I'd come to.
