"And a one, two, one, two, three."
At the sound of Hoseok's hands clapping, all students began their dance moves, some more graceful than others but he saw the synchronization as progress.
As the pairs of students come together and do their couple dance, Hoseok notices a girl's foot be off and takes note of it. Right after, a boy of another couple stumbles to hold his partner's hand. Hoseok would have let go another mistake go until the end of the song if it wasn't for the girl that tripped and fell.
"Alright, stop."
Pointing out each mistake, he tries to reassure his students that they are on the right path and doing good. But of course, telling a bunch of teenagers that they're fine won't do much. They all have insecurities and they know something has been up with their teacher.
Yes, Hoseok was locally famous for his choreography skills and his way of teaching others, but no one knew what actually went on in his life other than gossips.
"Mister Jung?"
Hoseok turns to one of his students, one he recognizes to be one of the best yet the most kiss ass of them all. "How can I help you Rin?"
The girl tucks her hair behind her ear as she tries to look good—for being sweaty from dancing. "I heard from a college friend about your boyfriend."
Hoseok frowns, confused. "My boyfriend? I don't have a boyfriend."
"Well, no, not anymore." Rin looks up, thinking about what her friend had told her. "I was told your boyfriend broke up with you and accused you of cheating on him in front of the whole school."
The dancer shakes his head. "He wasn't my boyfriend. He..." He sighs before he waves his hand as if to dismiss the girl. "Rin, my personal life shouldn't be of your concern."
"Well, I was just pointing out that some of the other students are talking about it." Rin shrugs as she then exists the studio.
Hoseok notices the way some of the students side eye him as they talk amongst themselves and all he can hope is that the rumors won't ruin his reputation. Or the truth at that.
Stepping out the studio, his phone dings.
'THEM BOIIIS'
Jungkook: Hey hyungs! I was thinking about a few melodies and lyrics and thought you guys would want to put some of your own input!
Yoongi: Sure, lay it out for us
Jungkook: Oh I was thinking that we should meet
Yoongi: Are you procrastinating on another assignment and using us as an excuse to get out your dorm?
Jungkook: ...
Jungkook: So is that a yes or no?
Hobi: I'd say yes. Right Yoongs?
Yoongi: I'm kinda sick of going to the cafe... Can we pick a new place?
Hobi: Come over to my place then
Jungkook: Music date with the brooooos
The dancer types up his address and realizes, he should probably hurry back home if he wants the apartment to look somewhat decent and for him to presentable. His studio was close enough to his apartment so he always just walked back and forth. Just as he arrives at his door, he immediately regrets not telling the boys to wait a bit before coming over.
"Hey hyung."
Yoongi awkwardly smiles at Hoseok. "H-Hey! Uhm... I was in the area so I figured it'd be fine for me to—"
"Hyung, it's fine." Hoseok smiles as he opens the door for him. "I'd hug you but I am nasty right now."
Yoongi follows Hoseok inside, already feeling slightly out of place after showing up so quickly. He knew it'd be weird. He should have gone home and changed clothes to give Hoseok time to come home.
"So, how do you like my two bedroom? Kinda sweet huh?" Hoseok drops his bag onto the floor by the couch that greets them to the right of the entrance.
Yoongi sees this place and instantly it connects perfectly with Hoseok. All it's decor is white, grey and green. The two couches—one bigger than the other—are a deep forest green. The coffee table is grey and it's home to plenty of music notebooks that just lay about. To the left of the entrance is the kitchen, which surprisingly seems like Hoseok uses a lot. Yoongi really didn't see him as someone that cooked often but the dirty pans and dishes said otherwise.
"Um, I have to go and make myself presentable for you guys." The dancer points at the couch as he grabs the TV remote and places it in Yoongi's hand. "You can watch whatever while I hop in the shower real quick. Sorry for not being ready."
"No worries Hoseok." Yoongi turns the TV on just as Hoseok turns around, but his attention is taken by the pictures that hung on the walls.
The first that took his attention was one of Hoseok and Jimin, Taehyung looking as though he didn't want to be in the picture. Hoseok had his arm wrapped around Jimin's as the younger smiled at the camera. The two looked happy. Yoongi knows well not to judge a picture on it's future.
The picture next to that one was Hoseok and his sister, who he knew was his sister because there was no way she wasn't. The two could pass as twins. Yoongi had never heard of Hoseok's family before, maybe it was for the best that he didn't ask.
The other picture was unexpectedly one of just Jungkook. Three pictures hung up, two of them being of Hoseok and someone else, yet there it was: Just Jungkook. It was a recent picture too, Yoongi could tell. He smiled ear to ear, hand sort of blurry as if he was ready to cover the camera. Jungkook really was a looker... But of course, Yoongi couldn't focus too much on his striking good looks. He wondered, how close were Hoseok and Jungkook really?
Thinking of him was like he had summoned him. The door's door bell goes off and Yoongi is quick to his feet and to the door. Opening it, Jungkook stands there smiling. "Hey hyung! You're here already?"
"I was here before Hobi was." Yoongi chuckles as he opens the door wide for him, letting Jungkook in and closing the door behind them. "He's showering."
"Oh," He turns to Yoongi and wiggles his eyebrows. "Should we peek inside?"
The goth is quick to wave his hand as he laughs. "Geez Jungkook, I didn't see you as a pervert."
"Only for Hoseok hyung." He laughs before he flops himself onto the couch. "I'm just kidding. For you too!"
Yoongi only rolls his eyes as he sits next to him, snatching the controller which Jungkook had grabbed. "I'm sure." He switches the channels and hears Jungkook laugh.
"He wasn't kidding when he said he'd put my picture up, huh?"
The older sees that he is looking at the picture framed up. "He must really care for you."
"I sure hope he does, I care for him too..." Jungkook smiles to himself as he pulls out his phone.
The two turn their heads as they hear footsteps behind them, but quickly look back at the TV.
"Hyung, put on a shirt for god's sake!" Jungkook covers his face with both hands.
Yoongi hears Hoseok laugh through the embarrassment. "Please guys, I'm in my home."
"P-Put on a shirt, Hoseok."
The dancer groans and the two embarrassed boys hear him walk away. "Fine!"
The two boys slightly glance at each other, only to see each other to have flushed cheeks as the sight of an unexpectedly well built Hoseok, Yoongi pouting his lips to prevent a smile.
They turn away just as said dancer comes back in with a white t-shirt, sitting between the two and throwing his arms around each of their shoulders.
"So. Music. Shoot Kookie."
Jungkook clears his throat before he talks about the ideas he has for a solo song, which he points out Yoongi convinced him into doing. Yoongi loved watching Jungkook talk about music. He always seemed the most kid like—waving his hands around, always smiling, loud, happy—it always made Yoongi happy as well.
Don't even get him started on Hoseok. The brunet had a habit of including his input in the sweetest way, even if it somehow wasn't good criticism. His eyes were soft as he suggested other ways to approach something, his lips always displaying a smile.
"Yah Yoongi."
Yoongi shakes his head as he hears his name, raising his eyes from Hoseok's lips. "Yah? Did you just Yah me?"
"I called you before!" Hoseok laughs. "Do you like the sound of that? Begin?"
The goth realizes he means the title for Jungkook's song. "I love it."
Jungkook blushes as he looks down at his notebook. "Hyung, I was thinking ... you should call yours Love!"
Hoseok hums, disagreeing. "Love doesn't quite fit... It's about how he learned to appreciate his mom from the love of the piano..."
"First Love?" Yoongi calls out (about to correct Hoseok on the true meaning of the song) and Hoseok claps his hand.
"Perfect!" Hoseok grabs his phone and smiles. "And mine is Mama. I'm telling you guys, together, anything is possible."
"We'll get to debut?" Jungkook blinks his eyes innocently.
The dancer pinches the bunny boy's cheeks. "Of course!"
"Anything... even fame?" Yoongi chuckles but he earns a serious expression from Hoseok.
Even with that smile, it hit Yoongi with intimidation. "We'll reach the stars, baby."
