If anyone finds out, I'm screwed.
Even with the thought circling around his head, Namjoon still sat in front of Jimin as the younger looked at the map to decide what to do. Namjoon would be more than screwed if anyone from the University saw the two together. He'd not only probably be fired, his resume would look terrible, his charity work could be affected, and his reputation would probably be tainted.
"How the hell are we going to get all of this done in one day?" Jimin huffed out in desperation.
"We can always come back."
Jimin's eyes shined as he looked up. "Really?"
Namjoon shrugged as he acted uninterested. "Yeah, no biggie."
The younger smiled cheekily as he bounced in his seat and Namjoon just couldn't bring himself to care if anyone saw them together at that moment. For that moment at least.
"Okay, okay!" Jimin's hair bounced as he showed Namjoon the map. "Let's only do section '1F' today then. I suggest we do Frog Hopper first, then the Camelot Carousel, then we would have time to go to either of the night shows at the 4d Theater, and... Well you choose something."
Namjoon knew which ride he wanted to do. "The Giant Loop right after Frog Hopper."
Jimin rolled his eyes. "Pfft, okay. You're acting as if I'd be scared."
"Never said that. Are you?"
"Of course not!" The short man stands up and scoffs, pulling Namjoon up by the back up his shirt. "Let's go!"
"Shit."
Jimin turned to Namjoon. "What?"
Namjoon frowns. "What, what?"
"Did you just say shit?"
"No..?"
Jimin shrugs and walks alongside his professor, talking about movies.
"Why did we just hide in the bushes?" A bunny boy whispers to his friend.
"Just saw Jimin with Namjoon..." Yoongi looks over the bush, sighing as he pulls Jungkook back up.
"Huh..." He turns to Yoongi. "I didn't know they were serious."
Yoongi frowns. "They aren't together. Namjoon is just kinda careless for his job." He turns as he looks where his best friend had left. "Although, I never thought he'd be careless enough to go out in public with a student."
"What do you mean? They hung around together when we went to the club." Jungkook cringed at the memory. "They even grinded."
Yoongi shook his head. "Look, it doesn't matter. They aren't together, trust me. Joonie tells me everything."
The younger boy shrugs as he smiles. "Whatever you say hyung." He points at a concession stand. "Can we get food before we start?"
"Yeah, I'm kind of hungry too." He puts his hand over Jungkook's. "I'll pay."
"Hyung's the best!"
Yoongi chuckles as the two head to the long line to get their food.
Luckily, Namjoon and Jimin didn't have to wait in line because Namjoon had a life long fast pass for him and whoever he hung out with. So currently, the infamous genius was laughing as his friend shouted from joy.
"Whoo-hoo!" Jimin swung his feet as the ride descended in a hopping manner, smiling ear to ear.
"Jimin, for christ's sake, the ride is only 18 feet tall!" But the laughing man received a tongue being stuck out to his direction which made him laugh even harder. "Jimin-ah, you're embarrassing!"
But he really wasn't. It was endearing how he acted like a child. It made Namjoon's heart skip a beat as Jimin turned to him, a smile over his face, rosy cheeks puffed up. Soon it was destroyed though, "Hyung, you look like a giant on the picture."
The two were looking at the picture that was taken of them, Jimin laughing at how funny Namjoon's tallness looked compared to not just Jimin, but the children who rode it with them. Namjoon leaned down right in front of Jimin and mocked his laugh. "Fuck off. You can't reach the top shelf, midget looking ass."
Jimin pouted as he playfully hit Namjoon's shoulder. "That's no way to treat your date."
Ah, it backfired. Namjoon's cheeks flared up instantly as he looked away, snatching the picture and looking at it. "You look cute when you smile."
"I know, thank you!" Jimin giggled as he took the picture back, placing it inside the locker they had rented out. "What's next?"
Namjoon smirked as he pointed at the obnoxiously large ride. "The Giant Loop, remember?"
Jimin gulped before he started pushing Namjoon. "Let's go then!"
"Hyung, have you ever dyed your hair?"
Yoongi laughs as he turns away from his notebook and faces Jungkook. "Kook, look at my hair."
"No, no," The boy chuckles. "I mean, other than bleaching it."
"Black, brown, pink, blond, mint, silver, blond again, black again, ashy black, and blond now." Yoongi grabs onto Jungkook's hair and looks at it. "I'm guessing you haven't dyed your hair since it's really healthy."
Jungkook shakes his head as he smiles. "I have dyed my hair. Pink!"
"Fitting for you." Yoongi looks down towards Jungkook's notebook. "Think you got enough there?"
"I think so... Maybe a few more and we can go." The raven haired then pointed up at Yoongi's hair. "But back to your hair, you'd look cool with purple hair!"
The goth boy actually thought about it. "I don't know... I said to myself I'd stop dying my hair after I bleached it."
Jungkook shrugged as he went back to his notebook. "Your hair, your choice."
"Hey we don't have to leave just because we are done." Yoongi looked away as Jungkook looked up suddenly, a pout formed at his lips. "I mean, unless you want to leave."
"Ah, hyung softening up to me!"
"You know, you are very different outside the campus." Yoongi points out the other boy's smile. "Hanging around Jimin and the others, you act all tough."
"That's cause I am." He pouts and looks down at the notebook. "But sometimes, people treat me like a baby. You don't, that's why you are my favorite."
Yoongi smiles and looks down at his notebook, feeling closer to his friend.
Namjoon was very close to Jimin as the two were sat down next to each other. The younger had gone completely quiet after being buckled up in one of the two availble "front" seats.
"Jimin-ah... you okay?"
But the boy didn't answer, he just looked straight ahead, eyes ready to cry, knuckles already turning white as he gripped on the seat's bars.
The professor watched as the employees and ride handlers began raising their thumbs up. "Jimin-ah, will you be okay?" Finally, the boy turned to Namjoon, a frown on his face, shaking his head. So Namjoon did the most logical thing his genius brain could come up with. He grabbed his hand and held it tight. "I'm here with you."
Jimin chuckled, trying to feel better about the situation. "That's not reassuring."
"It doesn't even go that fast and it's just around 45 feet tall, okay?"
And then, the ride only so slightly moved. "No, no, hyung, I want to get off. Please Namjoon, I want to get off."
"Jimin, we can't stop the ride." Namjoon laughed as they slowly went backwards. "You did the Frog Hopper but can't do the Loop? You aren't suddenly scared of heights, are you?"
Jimin quickly shook his head as they moved forward this time. "Be-being upside down is scary. I could f-fall on my head and die."
Namjoon laughed as he pulled on Jimin's hand. "That won't happen."
"Lotte World use to be called Death World." Jimin looked up at Namjoon as the moved backwards yet again, for a lot longer and going a bit higher than before.
"That was in 2007."
"They closed because of safety concerns later on though!"
"Five years ago."
And just as Jimin was going to speak, the ride was going forward a bit faster, taking them upwards and ready to turn them upside down. He yelped and grabbed onto Namjoon's whole arm. "Joonie d-d-don't let go!"
Another nickname, Namjoon was thriving today. He chuckled as he grabbed onto Jimin's hands and didn't let go the whole ride. The younger yelped every turn as Namjoon tried to explain how safety measures were taken each time a ride was created. But of course, Jimin wasn't listening, even when they got off.
"Do you want to go home?"
Both their hairs were sort of messed up, but with Jimin's scared expression and clinging onto his professor, he looked just like a child. "No,it's okay..."
"Want to go to the carousel then?"
Jimin slowly nodded as he let go of Namjoon's arm but instead, held onto his hand. "Can I hold on?"
"Of course, my dear date."
Shooting him an angry glare, Jimin pulls on his hand. "Come on..."
The made their way to the carousel, sitting next to each other, and Jimin finally let go of Namjoon's hand. The two had enjoyed the company, but they both weren't sure if this was actually a date. If it was, wouldn't that be wrong? And if it wasn't, then what was that feeling of wanting it to be?
"Would you call this unethical?" Jimin interrupted the silence between them. When he earned a questioning look, he pointed at Namjoon and himself. "Us hanging out."
"Mmm... technically not." Namjoon smiled at the younger. "I'm allowed to befriend my students. It's preferred not to, but it's not unethical."
"But what if we are on a date?"
Namjoon sighed as he sadly nodded. "Then it would be considered unethical." He watched his student's eyes fall down to the fake horse he sat on. "But really, the definition of something ethical here wouldn't be so bad for us. Something ethical is something done with good intentions."
"So if my motivations are wrong, then so is my moral?"
Namjoon smirked as he shrugged. "I mean, if you are having fun, what's really the harm?"
Jimin bit his lip and looked away. "Are your intentions wrong?"
"Not that I know of." Namjoon nudged the boy. "Are yours?" The pink haired boy turned to his friend and smiled as he shook his head. "Then... would you want to go out again some time?"
Of course, he earned a cheeky smile accompanied with a simple nod. "I'd like that."
