'Park Jimin
Drop by my class before lunch ends today.
-Mister Kim'
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck—"
"Jimin—"
"Fuckity fuck fuck fuck—"
"Jimin stop."
"Tae, I'm screwed." Jimin gripped his phone as he stared at the email. "I'm fucked. Fucked right in the ass type of fucked. And not the good kind."
"What if he was lying?" Taehyung wrapped his hand around his friend's shoulder in a comforting manner. "What if he was so drunk, he thought you two made o—"
"Don't say it out loud!" Jimin quickly covered his friend's mouth, panic in his eyes.
The blue haired friend grabbed the hand on his mouth and shoved it back to it's owner. "No one is listening to us, stop being so frantic about this."
Just as Jimin had sat down for lunch with his best friend, he told him of what he had heard the day before. He had already been confused, anxious, and very meticulous of his words in public, but now this email made things worse.
Seeing his pink haired friend begin scratching his hands, both palm and top of hands, made the boy worry for his mental sake. "It could be about an assignment."
"I've been trying so hard to avoid him, I didn't even ask what he meant in class because I was so ... so..."
"Embarrassed?"
"Scared!"
Taehyung looked at Jimin's scratching hands then up at him. "It was a mistake. A drunk mistake. You should do what Yoongi said. Act like you never knew."
Jimim nodded to himself as he stood up and grabbed his things. "Yeah... Yeah I should do that."
"So don't act suspicious, okay?" Taehyung grabbed his wrist. "Hey."
Jimin looked down at his friend, gulping down as he had a terrifyingly serious look on his face. "Y-Yeah?"
"Act natural."
Nodding his head violently, he made his way down the hallway.
He shouldn't have stayed to listen their conversation. He shouldn't have had. That way this would have never happened. Jimin wouldn't have heard said information. But then, would he have found out sooner or later? If then, it wasn't so bad. Better sooner then. But what if he didn't ever remember or found out? Namjoom keeping such thing to himself, would be wrong.
Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe Jimin drunkly kissed him and Namjoon then pushed him away. But what if it wasn't that way? What if the two did make out? That would explain why Jimin woke up without a shirt on.
The boy then stopped dead on his tracks and looked down at himself.
Did he have any marks on himself?
He lifted up his shirt and looked down. No, no hickeys.
"Jimin-ah."
Jimin let go of his shirt as he yelped and looked up, Wonho chuckled as he approached him.
"What are you doing? Suddenly checking yourself out?"
Jimin then shook his head as he nervously smiled. "N-No! I was checking if I had a mark on my stomach."
"That sounds... sketchy." Wonho smiled as he stood right in front of his crush. "What type of mark? Are you okay?"
"O-Oh I just suddenly hurt! Ya know, weird stabbing pains. I'm fine though!" Jimin giggled as he realized how weird he must have looked.
Some of his worry left him as Wonho spoke to him. "Could be that you are dehydrated. Make sure you're drinking enough water okay?" The blond with blue tips in his hair turned to the hall then back at Jimin. "Going somewhere."
"Ah, yes. Mister Kim's."
"Smarter one or handsome one?"
The two shared a laugh. "Smarter one. He emailed me to meet him." As he said it out loud, his concern and tension builded up again on his head.
"Care if I walk you there?"
"Not at all." Jimin then thought, if he showed up linked arms with someone, Namjoon should know that he isn't available and that he shouldn't get any ideas. Even if it was just for show. So the much shorter boy grabbed onto Wonho's right arm, wrapping his arms around it as he they walked. "What have you been up to Wonnie?"
The boy was quick to look up ahead as his cheeks grew red, a bashful smile spread over his face as he spoke. "Not much. Just, you know, class and work."
"Oh, how goes the training?"
"Pretty good. Got my first private client." Wonho then scratched the back of his neck with his left hand. "She keeps hitting on me though and I don't think she gets the hint that I'm gay."
Jimin chuckled as he stared at the classroom they were slowly approaching. "You're too nice not to refuse her... I know! Why don't you take a selfie of us and put it as your lock screen?"
The taller boy coughed as he grew embarrassed. He stopped in front of the classroom and turned to Jimin. "We aren't dating though. We haven't even gone on our date yet..."
"Yet." Jimin then tiptoed up towards Wonho's face and kissed his cheek, before grabbing his arm and opening the door to the room.
Namjoon looked up from his computer, his expression quickly becoming a sour one. "Mister Park, thank you for coming." He stood up as the two students stood in front of his desk. "I expected you alone."
"Oh sorry," Jimin faked up a smile as he looked up at Wonho and then at his professor. "I coincidentally met him on my way here and he offered to walk me here."
"How awfully sweet..." The teacher said with a sarcastic tone he couldn't even hide.
"I know, right?" Jimin smiled as he then pointed at the teacher. "I'll talk to Mister Kim now. Thank you for walking me here Wonnie."
It took a lot of strength from the blond teacher not to roll his eyes as he watched the nutrition major leave the classroom but even then his eyes showed some sort of annoyance.
Jimin sat in front of him as the blond had pulled out a chair before he arrived with an unwanted guest. "What did you want to see me about?"
"Well," Namjoon took off his glasses and dropped them onto is laptop's keyboard, caressing his temple whilst answering. "I did email you to talk about your extra credit since you decided to make my life harder and answer all three questions."
The student slightly smirked as he looked down at his hands. "I was jus—"
"But now I want to talk about that night."
His head snapped up quicker than the drop of his smirk. "Sorry, what?"
Namjoon had his elbows propped on his desk, hands intertwined as his chin rested on the top of them. "The night you got so drunk, you stayed at my house."
Jimin's hands came together as he began rubbing them together. "O-Oh... I already apologized for my recklessness. I don't see w-why we have to further discu—"
"Mister Park, your behavior was unforgivable." Namjoon watched as Jimin began scratching his hands out of nerves. "Not what I expect from my potential top student to say the least."
"I'm aware—"
"No, you aren't." He couldn't stop staring at his hands. They kept scratching and scratching. Why was he so nervous? "You see, you ask questions and you over achieve at everything yet that night disregards my image of you and I hope you understand as to why."
"I completely understand."
"You don't." He then sighed and sat up as he leaned over the desk and grabbed onto his hands. "If you don't stop that, you'll make yourself bleed."
But then that made things worse. The two looked into each other's eyes as the professor tightly held onto the student's hands.
And now he understood. He knew. Those eyes looked nervous and scared. That's what Yoongi meant by, 'He'll act different from now on.' He heard their conversation. He planned on humiliating his student, for fun as he hadn't done so in class. But now...
Namjoon gently let go of his hands and sat back down, looking down at his computer. "To regain said top status, I want you to do me a favor."
Jimin gulped as he quickly nodded and averted his eyes back to his professor.
"Forget you ever stayed at my house." Namjoon simply smiled as he shrugged. "Nothing bad happened, just a teacher making sure his student was safe, so instead of your drunk words and your drunk mistakes being remembered... just forget it."
Jimin then let out a breath as he nodded. "Y-Yes sir. Forgive and forget, then?"
Namjoon nodded in agreement as he began typing on his computer. "Forgive and forget."
The younger then stood up and bowed, thanking the professor as he quickly made his way to his way out.
"Jimin."
The boy stiffened right before he placed his hand on the door's handle. "Yes?"
"I'm not worth stressing about."
Jimin's eyes widened but he wouldn't turn to face his teacher.
"The assignment isn't even that hard, alright?"
He let his shoulders fall and he nodded before leaving the classroom, knees shaking and heart pounding.
'I'm not worth stressing about.'
Jimin held onto his chest as he let out a shaky breath. Yoongi said the same thing. But because of that, he'll definitely stress over said professor.
