Of course, as Jimin went inside the classroom, his teacher wasn't present. Instead, Yoongi sat at his desk.
Jimin saw the mean look on his face again as he spun his chair around and played on his phone but then remembered the shy smile he gave him before in Production.
He ran his hand through his pink hair as he sighed and mustered up the courage to walk toward him. "Hi," the boy looked up, an expression of murderous rage looking from his phone to Jimin. "You're Yoongi right?"
The blond then smiled brightly, showing up his cute gums as he shut off his phone. "Yeah, you are Jimin."
"Oh, how do you know my name?"
Yoongi shrugged as he put his phone inside his black jacket. His outfit was pretty similar to yesterday's, black jeans, and a black jacket but instead of a white t-shirt, it was red. "People tell me stuff." Jimin couldn't help but noticed the red and black around his eyes that looked too good to be natural.
"Hmm..." Jimin hugged onto his notebook and cocked his head to the side. "I thought you were a night student."
"Yeah I am," He then sighed as he started going through the drawers of the desk, alarming Jimin. "But the only way I can finish up my teaching course is through the day so I just pop in on random classes."
"I see," Jimin watched as Yoongi's eyes lit up, and grabbed an apple out of one of the drawers. But before he could ask what he was doing, he took a bite out of it. "Um—"
"Hello, Mister Park."
Jimin, slightly startled, turned to face his teacher, who looked down straight at him. "H-Hello Mister Kim."
Namjoon couldn't help but smile as he pointed at the rows in front of them. "You taking Anthropology too or was it you that left here that tequila bottle?"
Jimin's eyes widened as he shook his head. "No, no! I didn't leave that here. I-I'm here for Anthropology as well."
Namjoon laughed and placed his hand on Jimin's shoulder as support which made the boy tense up. "Good! I drank it all last night." He let go of Jimin and scowled as he looked down at his desk. "Really, Yoongi?"
Yoongi gave a gummy smile at the man towering over his desk. "I was hungry."
Jimin bowed and pointed at the rows. "I'll be... going now."
Namjoon watched as the boy sat down on the same seat as yesterday, which luckily hadn't been taken.
"I thought you were joking," Yoongi got up from the desk and smirked as he threw the apple's core into the trash can. "But you even remembered his full name."
Namjoon gave him a slight smirk before putting down all his things on his desk and clapping his hands.
"Now then! I am not late! That's a first." He chuckled as he sat on the edge of his desk. "Hello and welcome to Anthropology 1, I am your teacher, Kim Namjoon, the smarter Mister Kim."
Jimin was naming and titling his notebook when Namjoon's eyes landed on the boy, before raising his hand and pointing right at him.
"Mister Park!"
The boy's pen fell out of his hand as he looked up, all eyes on him as he looked at the teacher. "Y-Yes, sir?"
"What is Anthropology?"
Jimin gulped down as he straightened his back. "The study of society and cultures and their development?" It sounded more like a question that had the professor shaking his head.
"Wrong!" The blond man put doing his hand and pointed at Yoongi. "Yoongi! What's Anthropology?"
"The study of society and cultures and their development."
Jimin frowned. "Isn't that what I just said?"
"No," Namjoon laughed as he looked at the rest of the class. "You said 'The study of society and cultures and their development huh, huh?'"
The class laughed as the professor mocked the student's doubt.
"Never doubt yourself in my class."
Jimin smirked as he raised his hand. "Didn't Soren Kierkegaard say that to have faith is to have at the same time doubt?"
Yoongi licked his lips as he looked at Namjoon's hand twitch. "Ah, he done fucked..."
"Yeah he did," The professor shrugged as he raised his hands in the air, "He was also the dumbass that said that to understand life you must go backward." He pointed at his head as he made direct contact with the daring student. "Follow his steps and doubt yourself before you come at me with stupidity, thank you."
Jimin scoffed as he rolled his eyes and the genius before him continued to introduce the class.
As class ended, he wanted nothing more than to leave and meet with his best friend. He was quick to his feet and even faster to the door.
"Park Jimin."
He stopped dead in his tracks, eyes closed as he prayed for forgiveness. "Yes?"
"My desk, pretty please."
Jimin made his way to Namjoon's desk, looking down at all times, not wanting to look at the man he just accidentally disrespected.
"I have a policy that every student is allowed to have a contradicting opinion to the subject... in Ethics. Not anthropology as it's only facts and history."
Jimin nodded as he kept his head down. "I apologize."
"I don't mind the knowledge you have and if you want to show off." He heard the teacher chuckle. "I like when students test me. It's fun. Keeps me sharp. But look at me when I tell you this."
The short student slowly looked up to meet a gaze with authority and seriousness.
"Don't mock me in front of the class." He pointed at his chest. "Be a man and do it straight to me."
Jimin offered up a coy pout and he slightly kicked the floor, looking down at its porcelain tiles. "You started it when you made fun of me."
Namjoon didn't expect this. Not a student trying to manipulate him into guilt. He pointed up and down at the boy. "You think this is gonna do something?"
Jimin looked up, puppy eyes glistening up at the now dumbfounded teacher.
He rolled his eyes and waved the student off. "Get out of here."
Jimin bowed as a smile appeared on his face. "Thank you, Mister Kim, I'll see you tomorrow morning." He then skipped out of the classroom and linked arms with his best friend, who had been waiting for him, the two colored heads almost looking cute together.
Yoongi snickered as he kicked Namjoon's desk chair, pushing him slightly. "You have a favorite~"
The two blonds shared a look and the younger teacher smiled. "I do. And I'm gonna make a living hell of his life."
Taehyung hugged Jimin's arm. "What was that about?"
Jimin's nice facade faded away as he groaned. "That asshole made fun of me and when I snapped back at him, he dared to say that I was the one mocking him."
His friend chuckled as he placed his hand around the shorter boy, laying his head on top of the pink one next to him. "Seems you guys are friends."
"Fuck that guy, he's my least favorite."
