• Jungwon - On better terms.
This is part 3 of the Jungwon imagine, 'it's like i'm nothing to you anymore.' Ppl have been asking me to make a part 3 so here it is !!^^
-
3 years later
"Jungwon, I can explain-"
"No, I saw it, you don't have to deny it cause I saw it with my own eyes!" Jungwon pushed Yerin away, causing her to fall down on the floor as Jungwon leaves her home.
Jungwon had seen his 2 year old relationship go down the drain, after seeing Yerin make out with another guy.
Jungwon was heartbroken, he thought Yerin loved him. Guess he was wrong.
Jungwon ran to the bus stop, taking it a while for him to get a bus back home.
While waiting at the bus stop, watching the droplets of rain fall down the road, all he could think about was how he was gonna get comforted.
He needed to distract himself, someone or something to make himself forget about his break up with Yerin.
And his first thought, was Y/n.
He always came to Y/n for when he felt down, and she always cheered him up whether giving advice or just being there to give him company during his sadness.
But where was she now? He didn't know.
She left after college, not saying goodbye to him which made him alone.
But now, without Yerin, he really was alone.
The bus stopped in front of him, rushing to take a seat at the chairs in the back.
Leaning his head on the window for the whole ride, he depressingly watched the rain trickle through the glass window, the weather expressing his emotions.
As he was watching the night time with building lights turned on and friends having parties outside a convenience store,
There, he also found Y/n, smiling in front of a black car.
It was traffic, so he had time to see what was going on.
A familiar man's figure got out of the drivers seat, opening the passengers seat as she got in.
Jungwon's body reacted on its own, standing up but falling down on his seat again as the bus starts moving.
Dang it, he thought.
He had the chance to drag her away, see her again, and tell her that she was his happiness, comfort and the one he loved.
With his thoughts clouding his mind, he finally reached his home, soaking wet as he got out of the bus, devastatingly just standing there in front of his house.
With a bit of tears falling out of his eyes, Jungwon lazily opened his mail box, seeing a letter.
An envelope. How surprising. It was gold, and it had a rose sticker on it.
Jungwon sighed, rushing inside his home and took the note out, carefully reading with his eyes.
Hi Jungwon! This may come off as a little surprising but, I'm getting married! I know we've been out of touch for 3 years now, but you were still a good friend to me so I want to invite you to my wedding! I hope you come, it would make me more than enlightened to see you there.
- Y/n
Jungwon read the note, seeing an address as well at the bottom.
His heart shattered. Like a glass that fell down on the floor, his soaking body fell to his knees, crying more than he did earlier.
He was too late, someone had already took her.
That man that got out of the car, he was her fiance. And that explains the big smile on her face.
Jungwon couldn't help but sulk all night, not moving an inch, just stayed there lying on the floor.
He didn't care if he got sick the next day, all he could think about
Was Y/n.
-
Jungwon has stayed gloomy all week, letting hours pass by, as the hours turned to days.
The week of Y/n's wedding came, and he wasn't sure if he was happy or not.
Was he happy that she finally found someone for her?
Half yes, half no.
He was still sad that the man she's with isn't him.
He knows he's made mistakes, but by far this is his most regretted one.
The least he could do to make her happy was come to ger wedding. although it hurts for him, he knew it would make her enlightened so he still did it, for her.
Driving his newly bought car, he followed the address on the note, arriving to a very expensive looking resort.
Y/n were more than lucky, he thought.
He parked his car along with the other parked vehicles, entering the doorway.
"Name?"
"Uh, Yang Jungwon."
"Hm, you may enter."
Jungwon gulps and nods at the bodyguard, looking around to see everything so...rich.
He of course, wasn't familiar with this place so he was lost. He could've asked for help but, that didn't come up in his brain.
Roaming around the big mansion, he saw an open door with lights open.
He assumed the room was empty, so he tried being nice and tried closing the lights, but as his head peeps into the room, there he saw y/n in a beautiful wedding dress.
Y/n's eyes met his through the mirror, making her smile widely.
"Jungwon!" Y/n happily shouted his name with a bright tone, standing up to come hug him.
The hug he was longing for, his stomach was filled with butterflies.
"You look so dashing!" She complimented him, smiling.
Oh how he missed herbsmile that brightened up his days.
"Y-you look amazing too..." Jungwon blushes, still not recovering from the hug earlier, as she goes offer him a seat on the couch.
"So, how is Yerin?"
Jungwon hissed, not wanting to hear that horrible name ever again.
"We uh, broke up."
"Oh, I-I'm so sorry-"
"I-It's fine. It was her fault so.." Y/n bit her lip and faced Jungwon, tilting her head to show her smile.
"It's okay, you'll find the one for you soon, Won."
Won.
Won.
Won.
Jungwon misses that nickname. He wanted her. He wanted to marry her. He needed her.
Suddenly a knock on the door was heard, making both their heads turn.
"Can I come in?"
That voice sounds familiar, Jungwon thought.
"Mhm!" Y/n happily hummed, as the door opened, as Jungwon sees Jay in a tuxedo.
"Oh, Jay hyung!" Jungwon happily stood up with joy in his tone, as Jay turns his head to him, his lips parting.
"Jungwon...what are you doing here?" Jay asks, with mixed emotions.
He still hasn't forgiven Jungwon, for what he did to him, for what he did to Y/n.
"Ah, Y/n invited me." Jungwon spoke as Y/n nodded.
"Ah, then my wife must be so kind to the point she'll invite..you."
Jungwon's smile faded, his hands relaxing.
"W-wife?" Jungwon stutters, making Y/n smile at Jay.
"Surprise! Ehe, Jay and I are getting married!" Y/n spoke with happiness on her tone, linking arms with her soon to be husband.
Jungwon's heart shattered for some reason.
His two best friends..
The guy he trusted the most, and the girl who saved his life..
Is now getting married.
Well that was a turn of events. That should be me in the tuxedo, Jungwon thought. He held back his tears no matter how much he wanted to cry right there on the spot.
"A-ah.." Jungwon responds as Y/n giggles, the makeup artist asking her to turn around again.
Jay glances at Jungwon's hands, which his nails are digging onto his skin. Jay scoffed and went closer to Jungwon to pull him in for a hug.
"Don't feel bad. You had your chance. You broke her. You have no right to be happy."
Jay whispers to his ear, then patting his back and planting a kiss on top of Y/n's head before heading out of the room.
Jay was right.
Jungwon had no right to be joyful, not after everything he's done. To his friends, to Y/n.
Jungwon wiped his tears and left the room, trying to find a comfortable seat.
-
If Jungwon didn't do what he did almost 4 years ago, he would've been in good terms with his friends. He would've been on the front row.
He would've been the one she's marrying..
On the front row were Y/n and Jay's parents, along with his high school friend group that consisted of Heeseung, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Niki.
Jungwon's knuckles clenched as the big doors opened, his eyes glistening.
Y/n's face was covered with a veil, but the white fabric gown on her made her the center of attention.
Jungwon was amazed. Very.
I want to steal her. I want her to runaway with me.
As she arrived at the altar, there she smiled brightly at Jay, who was right in front of her.
Speaking their vows, Jungwon's tears started to fill up.
Those words they said, it really sounded like they loved each other.
He regretted what he did. And now he regrets it even more.
"Do you, Y/l/n, take Park Jongseong as your husband?" The priest asks.
Jungwon's grip on his wrist tightened, having a 0.1% hope Y/n would say no.
However, Y/n looked to the crowd, where she met eyes with Jungwon, startling him.
She didn't hate Jungwon. But neither will she forget what he did.
With one last smile to Jungwon, she turned her head to Jay and said the word.
"I do."
"You may now kiss the bride."
From Jay lifting her veil up, to them smiling at each other with love in their eyes, and to their lips touching,,
Jungwon couldn't take it anymore.
His heart broke to pieces, he didn't want to see any of it.
And so he left the venue, driving back to his home where he spent weeks not leaving his house with tears spilling in his eyes nonstop.
-
4 years later.
Jungwon closed his car door, locking it whilst dusting his shoes off.
He was at the park.
Four years later, Jungwon became successful. He started his own company and is labelled as one of Korea's youngest yet richest men.
Jungwon took a deep breath, taking in the fresh air as he looked around.
This feels nice, he thought.
Until a ball snapped his thoughts off.
Jungwon turned around and saw a little kid with cute eyes, making him go soft.
"Do you need anything?" Jungwon kneels down and smiles at the boy, making the boy smile back with the ball in his arms.
"Jeong-yoo!"
Jungwon lifts his head up and sees a woman.
A beautiful familiar woman.
"Mommy!" The boy giggles as the woman picks him up and places him in her arms.
"Why are you run..." The woman didn't get to finish her sentence, as Jungwon stands up properly again, giving a soft smile to her.
"Daddy!"
The boy giggles again, as Jungwon's gaze sees a man walking and places his arm around the woman's waist.
"Uh, Jeong-yoo, why don't you go play with your ball, your dad and I will be right back." The woman planted a kiss on the boy's forehead, as she placed him down and he continued playing.
The woman sighs and glances at the man beside her, facing Jungwon.
"Y/n, Jay. Long time no see."
Jungwon spoke, glancing at the boy playing around.
"Your son?"
Y/n nods, smiling at Jay who was beside him.
"Seems like you guys have a lucky life." Jungwon chuckles.
"You too, we've seen in you in magazines and tax commercials."
Jungwon chuckles at Jay's response, feeling like as if it's been eternity since he last talked to them, and it was.
"Hey, listen...I hope you know that, we don't hate you for wh-"
"I know. What I did was wrong, and I'm sorry for it. I know you don't hate me so, let's just forget everything. It's all in the past now."
Jay nods as Y/n followed her husband's action.
"Well,
Nice to see you again, Yang Jungwon."
