Next Morning

Location: Oberoi Mansion

Meera was getting ready infront of her mirror when two arms wrapped around her from the back.

"Good morning Kabir." Meera smiled as she curled her hair.

"Morning gorgeous." Kabir replied, "btw...are we going to tell anyone about us?"

"Is there anyone left? Alia, Sona, Dev, Jai....you involved practically everone in your proposal."

"I meant...the parents." Kabir chuckled, " Like...Anika aunty and Shivaay uncle....they are coming home so..."

"Haan I was thinking..." Meera turned to look at Kabir, "Kabir?"

"Hmm?"

"Why do I feel like you dont want to tell them?"

"No...its not that. I just....Im scared of Shivaay uncle's reaction." Kabir mumbled.

(Meera & Kabir's Looks)

Meera stared at him for a few seconds before bursting out with laughter.

"Haha Haha! Hahahaha!"

"Wha-Meera!" Kabir protested.

"Haha-Im sorry...Hahaha-Im sorry. Im sorry....but, you are scared of my Papa?" Meera asked through her laughs.

"Have you met your Papa? He can be very scary... who knows what he will say....what if he get mad?"

"Kabir..." Meera controlled her laughter, "Relax. We are not going to elope...we love each other what wrong in that? Why will Papa be mad?"

"Yeah...I guess you're right...so we will tell them?"

"Haan...but not today. Papa is coming back from the hospital & its Ma and Papa's  marriage anniversary too."

"Wow really?"

"Haan Mama told me. I planned a party...in the evening. So...today is all about Mumma & Papa. We will tell them about us, tomorrow. Okay?"

"Hmm...sounds like a plan." Kabir replied.

"Btw...one one side you dont want to tell anyone about us and on the other hand you came to my room so early in the morning...what if someone had seen you?" Meera raised her eybrows.

"Then I would have said...I need to return something to you."

"What?"

Kabir pulled out the butterfly necklace and swung it infront of Meera's eyes.

"My necklace..." Meera took the necklace from Kabir and then looked at him, "If you had this then why didnt you give it back?"

"Cause...I had a little something added." Kabir motioned towards the necklace, "Read the back."

Confused, Meera flipped the butterfly where it was engraved "I ❤️ U". Meera smiled and put the necklace on.

"Shivaay.." They heard Pinky say from downstairs.

"Papa's here." Meera excitedly exclaimed and ran out to meet her father with Kabir coming behind her.

"Papa!"

"Arre, careful Meeru." Anika said as Meera came running down the stairs. She ran straight to Shivaay and hugged him tightly.

"Papa Im so glad you're okay." Meera said. Smiling, Shivaay kissed her forehead.

"Im glad you are okay too."

"And Im also glad....that you guys are together again."

"What?"

"Really?" Everyone else looked surprised.

"Ek minute...How did you know? We didnt say anything, we even told Ranveer not to say anything." Anika asked.

"Haan bhabhi, I didnt tell anyone...not even Prinku." Ranveer said.

"Then how did you find out?"

"Umm...I think I know how she found out." Shivaay spoke up.

"Shivaay you told her?"

"No....but I told Sahil so..."

"Shivaay....Sahil? Really? You know Sahil tells Meera everythig and you told him?"

"What did I do?" Sahil asked as he entered Oberoi Mansion with Neha & Mishti.

"Come her...I'll tell you what you did.." Anika grabbed him by the ear and pulled, "You ruined my surprise...what was the need to tell Meera about our patchup?"

"Ow ow ow... Di..." Sahil released himself from Anika. and rubbed his ear in pain while Mishti and Neha giggled. "Di....SSO never told me it was a surprise."

"Really? As if you wouldnt say anything if you knew?"

"Nahi....I still would." Sahil replied.

"See..."

"Oh come on Di, Meera worked the hardest to reunite you....even got a slap from you..." Anika looked guilty. "How could I not tell her?"

"Sahil has a point." Shivaay agreed.

"Ok leave all that, Anika take Shivaay to rest in your room." Pinky said. "We also have things to do...so you just rest the whole day."

"The whole day?" Shivaay asked. "What will I do resting the whole day?"

"What else will you do? You dont even have any meetings....and Dev & Meera can handle the office."

"Haan papa...dont worry about office." Meera replied, "I was just about to go. Bye."

"Arre but-" Meera quickly held her laugh in as she turned and left before Shivaay could stop her.

"Haan Bade Papa, Im going too." Dev said, following behind Meera.

"Dev.."

"Shivaay..go to your room okay?" Pinky left with Jhanvi. One by one, everyone gave some sort of excuse and left Shivaay & Anika standing there.

"What...what was that?" Shivaay looked at Anika, who just shrugged, "Did everyone forget what day it is?"

"It looks like it." Anika replied.

"I know we reunited after so many years but that doesnt mean they will just forget our anniversary."

"Shivaay....calm down...so much has happened...thats prob why but Im sure they will remember soon." Anika said, "Lets go to the room now."

After Anika took Shivaay into their room, everyone slowly came back.

"Poor Papa..." Meera said, "He felt bad."

"When we dont wish them after awhile, Bhabhi will feel bad too.." Rudra slung his arm over Meera's shoulder.

"Ok...lets go, everyone get to work now." Gauri said. "Rudy bhaiyya, you & Omkara ji handle the decor. Bhavya & I will take care of the invites...and-"

"And Maasi...Ill make the cake." Meera replied.

"Haan...Ishaan & I will help" Pihu added.

"And I'll keep an eye on Shivaay & Anika so they dont come out of their room."

"Okay..." Gauri smiled and everyone spread out to do their jobs.

That Evening...

Shivaay & Anika sat in their room staring at the clock.

"Anika...what time is it?" Shivaay pointed towards the clock.

"7..." Anika replied sadly.

"Exactly 7pm and nobody has wished us yet....and what were you saying?"

"Shivaay! Anika!" Pinky called out. Anika perked up and smiled.

"See...Ma remembered. I told you!" Anika exclaimed.

"Shivaay...Anika, get ready and come out." Pinky said as she entered their room with some clothes.

"For what?" Anika asked hopefully.

"For Jai & Sona's reception party." Pinky replied.

"What?" Shivaay said, "Jai....and Sona's reception?"

"Haan...poor things, after their wedding they didnt get a reception party because of the kidnapping and everything....thats why we are just calling a few people over." Pinky replied.

"Jai...and Sona's reception..." Shivaay repeated.

"Haan." Pinky smiled and placed the clothes on the bed, "I got these for you to wear...come quickly okay?"

"Ma-" Anika grabbed Shivaay's arm to stop him and shook her head.

"Yeah Shivaay?" Pinky asked.

"Woh...nothing Ma. We're right behind you." Anika replied. Pinky nodded and left the room.

"Seriously? My own Mother forgot her son's anniversary?"

"Shivaay, I feel bad too but...you are behaving like a kid." Anika said. "I mean, its true that Jai & Sona just got married and they didnt even get a reception party...they are also our kids na? Lets just enjoy. Chaliye."

(Shivaay & Anika's look)

"Why did Ma give us such fancy clothes....it looks like its iur reception." Shivaay said as they walked towards the main hall.

"Haan...I was also thinking that...wait....why is it so dark here?"

Lights Turn On.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled. The hall was decorated with red & white flowers, and there was a huge banner that said 'Happy Anniversary Shivaay & Anika'.

"Happy Anniversary!"

"All this...is for us?" Anika asked as she and Shivaay looked around surprised.

"Haan Ma...this is for you guys." Meera replied, "Sorry...you felt bad right? That we didnt wish you?"

"This was your idea?" Shivaay looked at Meera who nodded happily.

"And Meera di made the cake too." Ishaan said.

'Arre haan, Shivaay you havent had Meera's cakes yet na? Our daughter is great at baking." Anika said, hugging Meera.

"I havent eaten her cake but I have had other food that she cooked. Thank god she got her cooking skills from me." Shivaay laughed as Anika glared at him.

"Hahaha!" Meera laughed.

"Meera!"

"Sorry Ma. I love you but Papa is right....you are a horrible cook"

"Are you seeing this Gauri? This father-daughter have become a team against me." Anika turned to Gauri and complained.

"Jiji...thats how daughters are. We keep them in our wombs for 9 months and then as soon as they are born its Papa Papa Papa....see." Gauri pointed towards Om who had his arm around Pihu.

"What did we do?" Pihu & Om asked innocently.

"Haan...I have 3 daughters. I can guarantee this is a fact." Mallika replied.

Shivaay brings Anika's arms up and around until they reach his face. Then he brings them down towards his heart and she wraps them around him to hug him.

Finally Shivaay dips Anika & they pose like that as the song comes to an end.

Everyone clapped & cheered for the couple.

A few minutes later, Gauri & Bhavya bring out the cake that said Happy Anniversary Shivika! Holding the knife together, Shivaay & Anika cut the cake. Shivaay feeds a piece to Anika & then she takes a piece to feed it to him. He admires her as she laughs, so glad to her truly happy again.
