"Meera!...MEERA!"

Meera woke up to a concerned Kabir hovering over her.

"Kabir?"

"Meera...." Kabir looked relieved as he pulled her into a hug and just held her, "Thank God, you're awake."

"Kabir..aah.." Meera flinched as she felt a pain shoot through her head,"What are you doing here?"

"Saving your life."

"What?"

"Well...."

*Flashback*

A few minutes before Meera leaves...

Ring! Ring!

The landline at Oberoi Mansion was ringing when Kabir who just came downstairs answered the call.

K: Hello?

Other Person: Hello, ACP Nayak speaking. May I speak to Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi?

K: Oh Im so sorry sir,  but Shivaay uncle is not at home. You can tell me, I'll let him know.

N: Well Mr Oberoi told us to find Abdul aand his brother Faisal. They were probably in hiding which is why we couldnt find them but just know our informers let us know that Faisal was spotted in Bandra. We havent caught him yet so pls stay alert, because that girl....what was her name?"

K: Meera.

N: Yes...because Meera killed Faisal and Abdul's brother, her life could be in danger. These brothers are very dangerous.

K: Yes, thank you for informing us.

Keeping the phone down, Kabir went to the tv room where everyone was watching a movie & Meera had just left.

"Guys....where is Meera?" Kabir asked.

"There was a problem at her Hotel construction site. So she went to get that sorted out." Jai replied.

"Hotel....like the hotel thats in Bandra?"

"Yeah....how many more hotels does she have in Mumbai?" Alia said.

"Oh no....no no no no....Thats not good." Kabir turned and ran out the door.

"What's not good? Kabir.... what happened?" Dev called out behind him, "Kabir!"

Kabir ran to his car and drove to Meera's hotel as fast as he could. When he got there, he saw Meera's car parked at the front.

"Where is she?" Kabir thought to himself . Looking around, he walked to the back of the hotel where he finally saw Meera standing looking down at her phone. Kabir was about to call out to her when he noticed Faisal sitting in a crane that was holding a concrete block way up above Meera's head. Just as Faisal let the concrete block fall, Meera looked up and saw it.

"AAH!" Meera screamed. Kabir quickly ran and pushed her out of the way. The concrete came crashing down where Meera was standing just a second ago. Faisal who had noticed Kabir, jumped out of the crane & started running away.

"HEY! Stop!" Kabir chased him and grabbed his hoodie pulling Faisal back. Faisal quickly punched Kabir to the ground and ran off. Kabir was about to run after him but stopped when he realized that Meera hadn't gotten up after he pushed her. Going back to where she was, Kabir saw Meera was lying still on the ground.

"MEERA!" He got on the ground and moved her hair out of her face, "Meera..."

"She hit her head...DAMN IT! What do I do? I forgot my phone at home too." Kabir looked around panicked. "Meera...Meera wake up, come on wake up pls....PLS.....Meera...MEERA!"

*Flashback Ends*

"Im so sorry Meera...I must have pushed you too hard and you hit your head on the pillar." Kabir apologized.

"Thats ok....you didnt do it on purpose, but Faisal? Faisal did all this?" Meera asked.

"Yeah, its a good thing I came on time."

"Faisal...Im gonna-" Meera got up and started to go only to be held back by Kabir.

"And where do you think your going?" Kabir asked. "Like...do you have selective hearing or something? You heard me say Faisal and what about the part where he tried to KILL you?"

"Yeah i heard that too so what should I do? Sit around like a helpless girl? Do nothing? Do you really think thats how I am?"

"No...." Kabir walked closer to Meera until she was backed up against a wall. "I know that you are not a helpless girl, you are very stong and brave...but Meera, catching these dangerous criminals is the police's job and they know that Faisal is in Bandra. Its not our job to run after him."

"Really?" Meera asked looking at Kabir, "Its not?"

"No...its not."

"Then why did you run after him?"

"Wha-how did you know?" Kabir asked.

"Its written on your face....literally. You're bleeding." Meera reached forward to wiped the blood that was dripping from his lower lip. Kabir caught her hand as it came near his face and they stared at each other for a while before getting self conscious and stepping away.

"I...uh.." Kabir cleared his throat, "Im fine....we should go."

Meera followed Kabir to his car and sat in the passenger seat while Kabir started driving.

'Whats going on? Why does my heart start beating so fat whenever Meera comes close? Why do I care so much about her?' Kabir thought to himself as he looked towards Meera who was gazing out the window.

"KABIR!" Meera suddenly yelled turning towards him. Concerned, Kabir slammed his foot on the brakes making them jerk forward.

"What happened? Are you okay?"

"My car....its still at the hotel site." Meera replied. Kabir sat there giving her the 'Are you serious?' look for a minute before people started honking their cars at them.

"Sorry! Sorry!" Kabir apologised and started driving again, "Meera, you scared me, I thought it was an emergency."

"This is an emergency....what will I do without my car?"

"Yaar...we will just send someone to get it. Its not like you can drive in this condition, you could have a concussion."

"Wait...." Meera said looking out the window, "This isnt the way to Oberoi mansion. Where are we going?"

"To the doctor."

"Kabir....I dont need the Doctor."

"Im still taking you."

"Kabir!" Meera protested.

"Meera!" Kabir mimicked her.

"Argh!" Kabir laughed at Meera who was super frustrated.

Location: Anika's Apartment

"SSO? You?" Shivaay looked to the bedroom door and saw Sahil. Shivaay took the photo album and walked to the living room, closing Anika's door behind him. Taking one look at him, Sahil knew that Shivaay was upset so he turned to Mishti.

"Mishti....go finish your homework in your room okay? And close the door."

"Okay Papa!" Mishti jumped up and ran to her room, closing the door. Once she was gone, Shivaay dropped the album on the table.

"Anika was never going to tell me about my daughter...was she?" Shivaay asked.

"SSO..."

"Anika not telling me...makes sense. But why didnt you tell me Sahil? Meera has been living in Oberoi Mansion for so long.....and Im a 100% sure that Anika doesnt know a thing about this. But you knew...right? The day of your boxing match Meera had come there with Dev, Jai, Ishaan and Pihu. I didnt understand why they went there, and why they lied about it....but now I get it....they know everything about Meera"

"Jiju...I can explain."

"Then explain...you knew that Meera was in Oberoi Mansion, The kids knew Meera's real identity....even Meera knew that she is my daughter. But I didnt know....I didnt know anything."

"SSO, we didnt want to hide anything. Meera wanted to reunite you and Anika Di. Di never told Meera was 14 when she found a picture of you, and then I told her everything about you.Di still doent know that Meera knows everything about you, she never planned on telling her. Coming here, becoming your business partner, living in Oberoi Mansion, everything was Meera's plan. If Di found out what we were doing then she would have never let it happen thats why we-" Sahil froze looking behind Shivaay.

"What happened?" Shivaay turned around. Anika stood there furious.

"Di...actually-"

"Where is Meera?" Anika asked.

"Probably at home." Shivaay replied. Anika walked out of the apartment, limping a bit from her injury. "Anika.."

"SSO...Di looks very angry. Meera just wanted to complete her family. Is that so wrong?"

"No...its not."

"Di wont understand....she will scold Meera alot."

"Relax Sahil...you stay here, Ill go with Anika." Shivaay said and then went down to catch up with Anika.

"Anika!" Shivaay ran upto her and grabbed her arm. "Wait...sit in the car, Ill take you home but you need to calm down. Dont scold her-"

"Shivaay, Im going to talk to my daughter so wether I scold her or talk to her calmly...thats my wish. You have no right to interfere." Anika said, Shivaay loosened his grip on Anika as he was hurt by what she said. Anika stopped an auto and got in.

Location: Oberoi Mansion

After visiting the doctor's clinic, Meera & Kabir went back to Oberoi Mansion.

"Dude...where did you run off to?" Jai asked Kabir as soon as they got back.

"Yeah and...how are you coming back with Meera?" Dev added. Kabir looked at Meera who motioned for him to not tell them anything as she didnt want to worry anyone.

"Its...nothing guys."

Ring! Ring!

"Oh...its Mama." Meera said and then answered her phone.

*Phonecall*

M: Hey Mama

S: Meeru...we are in trouble.

M: Why? What happened?

S: Di found out.

M: What! How?

"MEERA!" Anika entered yelling for her daughter. Meera hung up her phone while the other family members came to the main hall hearing Anika's voice. Seeing Meera, Anika walked towards her and...

SLAP!

"Anika...dont." Shivaay entered behind her. Meera stood there holding her cheek with tears in her eyes. The youngsters all looked shocked and also a bit scared at what Anika's next reaction will be while the older Oberoi's were very confused at whats going on.

"You don't Shivaay. I already told you, you have no right to interfere between me and my daughter." The older Oberoi's gasped in shock as Anika called Meera her daughter.

"M-Ma...." Meera cried.

"Yes Ma.....I am your Ma. You were in my womb for 9 months, I raised you....and for what? So that you can lie to me just to meet your father?" Anika pointed to Shivaay. Meera looked down crying as Anika questioned her. "You are my daughter right? My Meera, who used to tell me every little thing, weather its good or bad...but you always told me. How did you lie to me? For so many days...not not days...years. TYou knew about Shivaay for ten years....You and Alia were here in Oberoi Mansion, and you hid everything from me."

"Oh My Maata, Anika....is this true? Meera...Meera is yours and Shivaay's daughter? That means, she is my grand-daughters?" Pinky asked.

"Yes Ma, this is true." Anika replied.

"Mumma...main-"

"Meera...go pack your things. We are leaving." Anika said, ignoring Meera's attempt to apologize.

"Jiji...what are you saying? You just came home and you are talking about leaving?" Gauri asked.

"And Anika, Meera is a member of this family.." Shakti added.

"Yes Papa...and now that you know about her, I will never stop you from meeting her but I will not stay in this house and neither will my daughter. Thats my final decision."

"DADI!" Multiple voices yelled at once. Anika looked to see Dadi was unconscious and Om & Rudra were holding her.

"Dadi!" Anika yelled and ran towards her.

"Mummyji!"

"Ma!"

"KD!"

"Om, call the doctor!" Shivaay shouted. "NOW!"
