stormstar stands at an average size. his coat is made up of the colours of the sky before a storm: which is as his mother described his grey pelt. his fur is short.

a striking feature of his face is the lighter markings under his eyes, which adds an air of mystery and intensity to his stare. his paws, which are also dipped in the same light colouring, are relatively rounded in shape and slightly large in size, but it's not entirely noticeable.

the most captivating feature, according to eaglestar, is his eyes. a pale green in colour, and said to hold a pool of secrets of his past.

at first glance, stormstar appears as a very timid and feeble leader, often cowardly plucking away at his lives. but beneath his cowardice, lies a fierce loyalty solely dedicated towards whisperclan.

stormstar possesses a protectiveness towards his clan. he doesn't often show it, but it's there, and is likely to appear through verbal confrontations rather than physical. while he may never openly express his adoration to his clan, his actions speak volumes.

around eaglestar, stormstar was a softened, tender loving tom. he was attentive and aloof, cherishing the bond the both of them shared.

initially, he was a cat with immense potentially, and he has the capability of being a tremendous leader for whisperclan, but the disappearance of eaglestar created a looming shadow over him, causing him to falter and lose his way.

eaglestar's absence left a void of darkness in his heart and a weight on his shoulders that he deeply struggled with. in the face of this loss, his once—promising leadership unraveled, and he sought solace in the path of least resistance: squandering his nine lives in a series of reckless and cowardly decisions.

his fear of facing the challenges of leadership head-on led him to seek easy solutions, sacrificing the respect and trust of his clanmates in the process, as none of them knew of his petty means of ending his time as a leader.

instead of guiding whisperclan, he retreated into his shell of cowardice, shirking his responsibilities and allowing his fear to dictate his actions. he spiralled and questioned his worth and abilities as a leader and became plagued by self—doubt and was unable to reconcile the loss of his beloved mate.

as a result of this, he became isolated, withdrawn, and unable to connect with his clanmates on the level that he did, or could.

stormstar had a considerably average upbringing, as both a kit and an apprentice. his apprenticeship was above average — he worked alongside his mentor, an older molly called ratscratch, and succeeded with his training at a relatively normal pace.

he was made a warrior a few weeks before his litter-mates, which he boasted and bragged about for a few days before he forgot about the fact.

he and eagleroar developed a friendship with one another mid—way through their apprenticeship, but in an attempt to focus on his training, stormneedle

despite the fact that stormstar hadn't apprenticed a cat, he was made deputy. he thought starclan didn't care for this, as nobody within the clan was visited with an omen or a prophecy that threatened the clan as a whole.

but, following the disappearance of eaglestar, he figured it was starclan's way of punishing him for breaking the warrior code, of sorts. and this broke him in a number of ways. to stormstar, he had failed his ancestors: he'd made a fool of himself, and that his parents, family and others who walked among the stars, were probably ashamed of his actions.
