After dinner, we left the restaurant and hopped on his bike.
"How did you get into this mess?" he questioned, accelerating as we hit the road.
"Uhmm..." I hesitated,
"Come on, tell me everything," he urged, his words punctuated by the rustling sound of the wind as we picked up speed.
"Why should I tell you?" I counter strikes , my voice barely audible over the wind.
"Because it's not your first kidnapping, and it might be connected," he explained. "I need the whole story to help you."
"Okay," I agreed finally, taking a deep breath to begin my tale.
The events of the past few hours and how I ended up here started to replay in my mind, and I began explaining them to him.
Convincing everyone was a really tough sell, but two guards still stuck with me...
"C'mon Vritika! We can't miss the fun because of your guards," Avantika exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"I know, but how are we going to avoid them? Do you guys have a plan?" I inquired, my mind racing with possibilities.
"Hmm, I'll distract them, you run," Amrapali suggested, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.
"Sounds horrifying! How are we going to pull that off?" I queried, my heart racing at the thought.
"Let's go to a restaurant first, and then slip out through the back door. Your guards won't suspect a thing," Amrapali proposed, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"Yes!" I agreed, my enthusiasm growing.
We arrived at the restaurant, and I instructed the guards to wait outside. After a few minutes, we made our escape through the back door... and finally reached the club.
"How did the plan go?" Avantika inquired.
"Amazing! They didn't even suspect a thing!" I declared.
"Let's go have some real fun!" Avantika proposed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Yup!" I agreed, nodding enthusiastically.
We made our way to the bar, taking seats on the stools and ordering drinks. Then, Amrapali chimed in, "Let's dance!"
We joined her on the dance floor, lost in the music and the moment. Later, I leaned in to Avantika and uttered, "I'm heading back."
She nodded, and I left the dance floor, grabbing a drink as I made my way to a quieter corner to catch my breath.
As I sat alone at the bar, a man in his early thirties slid into the stool next to me. His eyes roamed over me before he spoke, his voice dripping with condescension.
"I see you're alone here, sweetheart." His hands began to creep towards my hips, making my skin crawl.
"I'm with my friends," I said firmly, removing his hands and gesturing towards the stage where my friends were performing.
"Don't be a mood killer, darling," he persisted, his voice taking on a menacing tone as he tried to grab me again.
I stood up swiftly, my drink spilling on my dress as I pushed him away.
"I'm not interested, Mr., So leave. Forget it I'll leave," I said, my voice firm but shaking with fear.
I hurried to the washroom to clean my dress, my heart racing with anxiety. But as I exited, I found myself face to face with three men, including the one who had harassed me earlier.
"Where will you go now, dear?" he sneered, taking a step closer to me.
Without hesitation, I threw a punch at his face and made a run for the emergency exit. I burst through the door and sprinted out into the night, my heart pounding in my chest.
He shouted for backup, but I couldn't make out what he said. He charged at me again, but I managed to land a kick in his groin. Another man tried to grab me by my hair, but I used my elbow to defend myself. However, more people started to arrive, and I realized I was outnumbered. I took off in a sprint, my heart racing with fear.
The darkness seemed to swallow me whole, and I cursed myself for not listening to my friends and family who had warned me to stay home or at least bring my guards. I took another turn, finding myself on the deserted main road. Regret washed over me as I realized I should have taken a different route that would have led me to the market, where I could have blended in with the crowd. But here, I was alone and vulnerable.
As I ran, my mind raced with thoughts of escape and safety. Suddenly, a bike appeared in the distance. Oh God, please let the rider be a good person, I prayed silently.
"Wait! Please!"I shouted jumping in the front of the bike...
"And the rest, as you know." I concluded, as the bike pulled into the basement and came to a stop.
"Let's go!" he uttered, and I followed him to the elevator.
As we rode up, I broke the silence.
"Do you live here?" I inquired, curiosity getting the better of me.
"No, we live in Italy," he responded, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
"So, what brings you here?" I queried, my curiosity piqued.
He raised an eyebrow.
"To save a damsel in distress, of course!" he declared, his sarcasm evident.
I rolled my eyes. "Ha ha, very funny!" I mocked.
He chuckled and looked me straight in the eye, his smirk still in place.
"You're safe now," he assured me.
The elevator doors opened, and he guided me out into the hallway, his hand on mine. We stood in front of a luxurious suite, and he opened the door with a swipe of his card.
The suite was adorned with elegant furnishings, marble countertops, and expansive windows that offered a breathtaking view of the city skyline.Five bedrooms and a kitchen, too, I counted, impressed.
"Does anyone else live here too?" I questioned, curiosity getting the better of me.
"No, right now it's just you and me," he replied, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
His words sent a shiver down my spine, and I felt a flutter in my chest. I couldn't tell if it was fear or excitement, maybe a mix of both. Our intense encounter on the bridge still lingered in my mind, fueling my racing thoughts. The suite's opulent atmosphere only added to my unease, its lavish decor and dim lighting creating an intimate ambiance. A tiny blush crept onto my face, and I suspected he noticed it, his gaze lingering on mine for a moment.
"Give your tiny brain a rest, Caro," he whispered, his face inches from mine.
His hands were still tied behind his back, but he managed to lean in closer, his lips grazing my ear.
"Or if you want, we can do many more things..." His voice was husky and seductive, sending shivers down my spine.
I felt his hot breath on my skin, and my mind flashed back to our intense moment on the bridge. I craved the taste of his lips again, my desire overwhelming me. Lost in thought, I didn't even realize when he moved closer, his body almost touching mine. His proximity was electrifying, making my heart race and my senses tingle.
"Should I take that as a yes?" He asked, his head tilted slightly, his eyes gleaming with desire.
My mind had gone blank, unable to form a coherent thought. His voice had a strange power over my body, making my senses tingle and my heart race. Without thinking, I pulled him into a kiss, taking control this time. Our tongues collided, and I explored his mouth, savoring the sweet taste of the cupcake we had shared earlier.
He responded eagerly, opening his mouth to mine, and I delved deeper, indulging in the sweetness. His hands grasped my buttocks, squeezing gently, and I moaned softly, the sensation sending shivers down my spine.
The doorbell rang persistently, refusing to be ignored.
Finally, he groaned and released my lips, allowing me to escape to the bathroom.
I was mortified by my disheveled state, covered in sweat and desperate for a shower.
After freshening up, I returned to the living room, where Jarek was engrossed in his phone, now dressed in a loose t-shirt and sweatpants.
"Here, take it!" he said, his eyes still fixed on the screen, gesturing towards a brown paper bag.
I opened it to find a thoughtful selection of ladies' clothes: a pair of cozy pajamas, a couple of t-shirts, and some skinny pants. I returned to the bathroom to change, feeling grateful for the fresh clothes and a chance to compose myself.
I quickly changed into the comfortable pajamas and returned to thank him. He remained engrossed in his phone, ignoring me until he spoke up.
"Tell your friends that you're leaving with me," he muttered, his eyes still fixed on the screen.
I crossed my arms over my chest, slightly annoyed.
"What's the reason for that?" I demanded, my tone hinting at my irritation. How could he be so engrossed in his phone and ignore me like that?
He finally looked up, meeting my gaze.
"Your brother suggested it, not me," he clarified, his expression neutral.
I sat down in the side chair, my teeth clenched in frustration.
"When do we depart?" I queried gruffly, trying to contain my annoyance.
He glanced at me, his eyes lingering for a moment before returning to his phone.
"I have a meeting in the morning. After that, we'll head out," he stated, his focus still on his screen.
"Fine," I conceded, my voice hinting at my resignation.
"Go and get some sleep. It's already late.." he murmured, his attention returning to his phone.
I hesitated, then spoke up.
"Can I ask you something?" I queried, my tone cautious.
"Yeah," he responded lazily, his gaze still fixed on his screen. I felt a surge of frustration, tempted to destroy the phone that seemed to hold his attention captive.
"Are we dating?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. His eyes locked onto mine, intense and piercing. He placed his phone on the coffee table, his movements deliberate.
"I mean, what we did just now!" I clarified, my eyes avoiding his, unable to withstand his intense gaze.
He smirked, his expression hinting at amusement.
"If you want it to be like that," he drawled, his tone suggestive.
"So, you're my boyfriend now?" I queried, my excitement growing.
"If we're dating, then of course I am," he affirmed with a smile.
"So, are you going to take me on dates?" I inquired, my eyes sparkling.
"Sure thing!" he confirmed enthusiastically.
"Will you carry me on your back?" I queried playfully.
"If you want me to," he conceded with a chuckle.
"Hold my hand while crossing the road?" I continued.
"Always," he vowed.
"We'll go on a long drive?" I queried, my enthusiasm building.
"Definitely," he assured me.
"Wear matching clothes?" I queried, my voice full of excitement.
"Whatever you wish!" he declared.
"Watch my favorite movies with me?" I queried, my eyes shining.
"Yup!" he confirmed, his smile growing.
"Cuddle me to sleep?" I whispered, my voice barely audible.
"Let's do it!!" He exclaimed.
With that, he swept me up in his arms and carried me back to his room, I presumed. He gently placed me on the bed, wrapping me in the comforter, and then entwined himself in the blankets beside me. He cuddled me from behind, his chest pressed against my back, his face nestled in the crook of my neck, and his arm slid under my head. As we snuggled together, sleep soon engulfed us in a deep slumber...
The morning sunbeams intruded upon my peaceful slumber, jolting me awake. I noticed the empty space beside me, and my annoyance grew.
I glanced at the clock; it was 8:00 a.m. I headed to the bathroom to start my morning routine.
After a quick shower, I dressed in one of the outfits he had provided - a white shirt, brown sweater, white pants, and matching shoes.
I then went to the living room to order some breakfast.
A knock sounded at the door. I peeked through the peephole and saw a man holding a tray. I opened the door.
"Who are you?" I inquired.
"I'm from room service, ma'am. I'm here to deliver your food," he declared.
I let him in, and he quickly set down the breakfast tray before departing.
Just then, the suite door opened, and Jarek walked in, dressed in a white sweatshirt, black pants, and a beige overcoat. The man from the hospital followed closely behind him.
"We need to leave, ma'am," Jarek announced.
"Now?" I queried, surprised.
"Yeah," he confirmed curtly. "But I haven't even started eating yet!" I protested.
"Eat something on the flight. We need to leave now," he directed, his tone firm.
I sighed but reluctantly followed him, still hungry.
