greeted by the morning sun accompanied by the slightly cold breeze of the day, marius heaved out a deep sigh. though it was just a small action from him, it portrayed different sorts of emotions.

his day was off to a good start, but it did not last long. true, he has the ability to have fun by himself, but the thought of having someone be there for him to enjoy these daily events in life would sure bring joy to him. even if he doesn't admit it, he does want a friend around his age to share these moments with.

as the wind blew past his high school uniform, marius shivered, groaning as he grumpily put his painting materials down to stare at the still empty canvas that he wanted to paint on. "ang hirap naman." he blurted out, feeling defeated by his never-ending art block.

how many weeks has it passed ever since he had the inspiration to paint? even he lost count. he didn't know what was wrong with him, he didn't know why his mind and his hands don't work the same way as they did just a few weeks ago and it's agonizing.

"representative pa naman ako sa school competition this friday." he sighed, letting his purple hair be in a complete mess as he ruffled it harshly, ruining its style. "siguro iiyak nalang ako." he added, in the verge of tears.

he was nearing on losing his composure. painting has always been a part of him and feeling his hobby slowly drift away from him is something he couldn't handle. at least not yet.

"luh, von hagen iyakin." a voice from the classroom's entrance door suddenly spoke, catching marius' attetion, and there stood a lady in her uniform, surprised by the scene in front of her.

meanwhile, marius was in awe the moment he laid his purple eyes on her figure, eyeing her from head to toe.

'y/n?' he thought, eyes slightly wide as he saw how the mild rays of sunlight beautifully complimented her physique. for the first time in weeks, marius saw something, or someone, rather pretty, and he wanted to picture how she looks ethereal in his point of view. 'since when naging maganda 'tong maldita'ng 'to?' he asked inside his head, still in shock.

"labas. flag ceremony na. baka mapagalitan ka pa kay ma'am." the said female informed with her infamous stoic expression before she walked off, feeling accomplished as she has done what she was tasked.

however, marius was still stunned, yet a smile was visibly creeping up his features as he recalls what he just witnessed. who knew that the inspiration that he was looking for was just seated beside him all this time?
