" 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨，𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘳𝘺．𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘦．"

WAKING UP THIS MORNING GEMINI DID NOT THINK HER DAY WOULD START OFF WITH VIOLENCE. One minute she was doing her morning yoga and the next she was fighting a long legged woman with bangs.

Boy, was it going to be a long day.

While Fei was fighting her the old fashioned way with her fist, Gemini and Alphonso had enough when the woman rumored their sister to stop moving.

That's when Gemini stepped in, with her brother Alphonso by her side.

Walking up towards her, Alphonso asked, "Hit me."

"What?" She was very confused on where this "conversation" was going.

"Come on. Hit me in the face." He elaborated.

Looking to his left side she eyed Gemini, who was just observing the scene for now.

And since she was making a move on her she ultimately decided to make a move on the man in front of her.

"Okay." she accepted.

Throwing a hard left handed punch, she hit him right in his face. But it didn't seem to have an affect on him as he looked just the same as before, maybe even a little bit more eager.

That was until the woman with bangs felt the same reciprocated punch coming back to her and hitting her with full force, evidently knocking her on the ground.

"I bet that hurt, huh?" he joked, walking towards her crawling figure.

Gemini soon walked forward towards her, and finally unleashed her power.

The woman on the ground first saw a bright orange energy erupting from the girl's palms but she soon felt her life draining from her body.

Looking at her skin she saw it turn a grayish color. She literally felt like she was knocking on death's door.

While her life was draining from her body, Alphonso took the chance to try and stomp on her with his foot, but soon a boy came and snatched his sister away while disappearing.

"Fast little guy." He quoted. And Fei was finally set free of whatever compulsion was placed on her.

"Don't worry, Cleo will get him in a bit." Gemini assured her siblings.

Appearing on the upstairs balcony, the woman coughed and after a few seconds caught her breath.

"Thanks." she said towards her brother.

"No problem." he replied.

Standing up they were bombarded with two upcoming figures.

"Hey short pants. What's up?" Jayme greeted.

"Looks like the lady just had a run with death." Cleo called out, looking at the woman's skin turning back to its original color.

The woman with bangs was confused on how she got up the stairs so fast, but soon she noticed an obvious difference between the woman she just fought downstairs, and that was the blazing red eyes and fiery red hair. Not to mention this version looked sadistic.

"Go help the others. I'll handle these two."

"Okay." the woman said, and took off in the other direction.

"What are you their mascot?" Jayme teased.

The boy just sent an unamused smile and disappeared in a blink of blue, then showed up right behind Jayme and punched her in the face.

"More like their ringer." The boy corrected.

And before he tried to throw a punch at Cleo, Jayme aimed her venom at him.

"Ugh, hey gross, all right?" he commented.

But Jayme and Cleo smirked in return.

Red wisps of illusion worked its way into his head changing his moss green eyes to a bright red then right back to green.

Feeling a bit delirious the boy blinked trying to fix his gaze.

"The hell?" he muttered.

While Cleo and Jayme just watched their magic take form.

But actually seeing the illusion they made together, they were a bit creeped out if they were being honest.

"Are they all perverts?" Jayme wondered aloud while Cleo shrugged.

Disrupting his illusion with a roundhouse kick, Jayme sent the boy tumbling down stairs.

Trying to make their way out, a group of the umbrella academy members ran down a soulless hallway.

"Luther, we're leaving! Come on!" The boy shouted running down the hall.

"Just a sec–" He tried to bied, but was interrupted.

"Come on, we gotta go! We gotta go." his sister forced.

Rounding a corner they turned to look back at their threats.

It didn't help to see a woman with black ravens coming out of her back and two identical looking women with blazing red and bright orange eyes.

"Seriously?" Luther questioned.

"Move, move, move, move!" she yelled, pushing her brother to run.

All three women kept a steady pace while they walked down the hallway to corner their 'enemy'.

Finding a room, two of the umbrella academy members hid themselves in it, while the boy had blinked away talking about a briefcase of some sorts.

After seeing the two umbrella academy members 'haul ass' Gemini and Fei made their way back downstairs.

Cleo had already made her way back into her headspace in Gemini's head.

Meeting up with the rest of her siblings Gemini saw a smaller girl lying on a broken coffee table.

"Vanya, get out of there!" The boy called out from behind a pillar, but soon blinked away when he saw her start to glow a bright illuminating blue.

Readying herself, Gemini felt the shock wave hit and the rest of her siblings but the difference was they got blown away and she did not.

While she had chi-manipulation, that also came with energy absorption. In depth, that meant anything that came from the body whether it be feelings, sounds or just energy in general she could absorb it. It was that person's soul energy based off of them.

In the aftermath everyone was groaning from the blast impact.

From the balcony Marcus looked at his team's unsuccessful take down, and sighed.

"It's over. Go! And don't come back." He called out to the girl.

Watching the girl stumble out of the building, a thought sprouted in Gemini's head.

"Don't even think about it, we beat their asses, let them wallow in it a little while longer." Cleo huffed in her head space.

"I know we did, but I can't help think that maybe, just maybe they're telling the truth and dear old dad is the one to blame for this mess." Gemini replied to Cleo, through her thoughts.

"So what if it is Dad's fault, it doesn't mean we have to hear them out." The red head argued.

"Luckily for me you're not in control of the body." The brunette stated with a sly smile.

Cleo just huffed but didn't fight back as her "sister" followed after the shorter woman with gigantic powers.

In a park-like area, the umbrella academy members gathered around to take a load off.

"That didn't go well." Diego stated.

"No, not our best work." Five added.

"Oh, I'm cracking." Klaus commented, as his joints got back into their old positions.

"You alright?" Allison asked her brother Luther.

"I don't know yet. I've just never had my ass handed to me like that before. It's like... here you go. It's your ass."

Looking at him awkwardly Allison concluded, "Okay, I think Luther's concussed."

"Luther, how many fingers." Klaus asked, holding up his hand.

"Oh my god, Vanya." Luther realized, seeing his younger sister not with them.

Pointing behind him, Allison showed Vanya was heading their way.

And surprisingly Gemini had made her way there faster, knowing the familiar path the girl was taking.

"Oh, thank god you're alive." she said, walking towards them.

"You okay?" Allison asked, seeing her sister's limp.

"Apparently so is Ben." Klaus added to the previous comment.

"Yeah, and he's a complete dickhead." Allison appraised.

"They're all dickheads." Diego agreed.

"Dickheads who can fight." Luther commented adding onto the dickhead train.

"Okay, the next person to say "dickhead" is getting a punch to the throat." Five threatened his siblings.

A string of "dickeads" followed right after Five's comment, all the while Gemini also said "dickhead" but it was mixed in with the groups so nobody heard her.

Annoying Five no less, but they were his siblings after all.

"Hey, did Dad ever tell you why he was calling him his kids?" Diego asked his brother, who was wearing a cowboy hat.

Listening in, Gemini knew they were getting on to the important stuff.

"He sure did!" Klaus said, while laughing lightly.

"You ready? Dad was so repulsed by us back in Texas, that he adopted an entirely different group of children, just so he didn't have to raise us." He shared with the rest of his siblings.

"I knew Dad was bad, but sheesh that's cold." Cleo commented with a chuckle in her headspace.

"That's just peak Dad." Diego said, sitting down on the table.

"Isn't it?"

"So, he just didn't want us anymore?" Vanya questioned.

"Did he ever?" Allison said blatantly.

"See? I told you we shouldn't have asked him for help in '63." Luther cried.

"I think you're all missing the big picture here. If Dad didn't adopt us as kids, he changed the timeline. So who knows what else is different now." Five explained, trying to understand the timeline they are in now.

"Shouldn't you know?" Allison half–heartedly accused.

"I'm sorry Allison, but it might take me more than 20 minutes and a traumatic brain injury to figure this all out. Is that okay with you?"

"No actually, it's not." Allison shot back, matter–of–factly.

"Guys, look, it's fine. We still have the commission's briefcase so worst case, we can just go back in time and fix it.." Vanya said, trying to be the peace barrier.

"There are two problems with that statement. First off–"

"Here we go." Klaus interrupted knowing Five was going to say something in the negative region.

"Time travel is complicated, people."

"Yea, we get it. Your job is so hard. Just what?"

"And secondly...I no longer have the briefcase." Five admitted.

Standing up, Allison looked to her brother. "Five, where the hell is the briefcase."

Gemini had no idea about any briefcase and neither did Cleo, but they continued to floor the siblings seeing where they would go, seeing as their old family homes were currently being occupied by the sparrow academy.

Walking around the newer timeline, the umbrella academy walked in silence.

"What are we doing?" Allison questioned all of her siblings, as they were all just walking around having nowhere to go.

"Ruminating." Commented not knowing himself.

"Why is everyone staring at us?" Klaus questioned, seeing people's eyes follow them everyone.

"Because we look like the damn village people just lost a fight." Diego replied back, snatching Klaus' hat off of his head.

"Gimme that." Klaus said, trying to get his hat back.

"Hey"

"Ow"

"Okay, you know what? I need to go find Claire. I will catch up with you guys later." Allison stated, having spent enough time with her siblings.

"Hey Allison, no. First, let's get somewhere safe, clean those cuts, and then we'll go find her." Vanya called out, stopping her sister from walking any further.

"Man, I hate those guys." Luther said, out of the blue, making the family look up at the sparrow academy's billboards.

"Look at 'em with their... stupid smug..."

"You can do it." Klaus whispered encouragingly to his brother.

"...s...s...smug...smugness." Luther choked out.

"Keep working on it, big guy. You'll land one, eventually." Klaus huffed out.

Standing away from the umbrella's, Gemini and Cleo looked up at the billboard with their faces plastered on it.

"I think we look great." Gem thought to herself and Cleo.

"You're not wrong, we look amazing. I don't know what the big guy is going on about."

"Neither do I, maybe he's had one to many hits to the head?" Gemini suggested.

"That must be it." Cleo agreed.

Back with the umbrella academy, Allison spoke aloud saying, "Guys, we can't stand here bleeding out in the middle of this park."

"I don't know, but we better gear up fast before they come for round two, alright."

"What makes you think they'll come after us?" Vanya asked her seemingly paranoid brother.

"Because I would." Diego answered, truthfully.

"Yeah, I mean we did break into their house.."

"Our house." Allison corrected."

"Bust up all their nice antiques and shit." Klaus continued on saying.

"Yeah, I don't think the crime–fighting.. super nerds are gonna let that go."

"Let's just think of some place off the radar, where we can lie low and draw attention." Five suggested.

"What kind of a weird–ass place are we not gonna draw attention?" Diego pointed out.

Everybody tried to think on their own for a second but soon turned to Klaus, knowing that he would know exactly where to go.

Getting out of his own headspace, Klaus looked up to see all of siblings looking at him for direction.

Thinking for a bit, Klaus knew exactly where to go. So he led the way.

While the rest of the umbrella academy members didn't seem to notice a spying brunette on their tail.

Walking towards a tall building, Gemini read "The Hotel Obsidian" was its name and that's where the umbrella academy members would be staying.

Not wanting to be spotted yet, Gemini waited outside for a little bit so the umbrella's could get situated.

"I don't understand why you just don't go in there and ask them for information yourself?"

"Do they honestly look like they're going to tell me anything? To them I'm the enemy. They'd like to try and kill me before I could even mumble a word. Especially the little jumpy guy." Gemini told Cleo, which red head understood and got quiet again.

After 10 minutes Gemini entered the hotel and asked for one room, close to the people who just came in.

It's not that she needed the hotel room, it was more like a just in case sort of call. Little did she know that the just–incase call would come in handy later on.

Scouting out the place, she knew that the umbrella academy members were going to need time to freshen up so she decided to stay around the hotel a little longer till the group gathered again.

Then she would make her surprise appearance.

In the next chapter Gemini and Cleo will be meeting the umbrella academy members properly.
