"don't you dare hog my sister away from me, tobio-chan." nii-san says, glaring at tobio-kun, making me sigh.

"and who said it's a good idea that you'll stay here, nii-san?" i ask, rolling my eyes as i make dinner for the four of us, including tobio-kun's mother.

"no one even asked you to come here, oikawa-san." tobio-kun replies innocently, yawning.

"tobio, manners! excuse him, tooru." tobio-kun's mother says, smacking tobio-kun's arm lightly.

"it's alright, kageyama-san. he and reo have the same trait so i'm pretty used to it." nii-san replies, pissing me off to the point one of my nerves is about to pop.

"shut up or i'll stuff this hot dish straight into your mouth." i warn, only earning a chuckle from him.

"i told you, kageyama-san." he says, making tobio-kun's mother laugh.

as a few minutes passed by, i finished the dish and served it in front of the four of us.

sitting down, we all put our hands together, chanting:

"itadakimasu!"

and finally, we began to eat. while tobio-kun and i kept silent, nii-san and kageyama-san started up a conversation about the two of us, yet tobio-kun and i kept our ears closed and focused our attention to the food.

"to be honest, i don't really mind if reo will be tobio's girlfriend. they look cute together, don't they, tooru?" as i heard that sentence, i choked on my food and quickly gulped down on a glass of water.

"my, my! are you okay, dear?" kageyama-san asks while the two males laughed.

i shot deadly glares towards them, telling them that nothing is funny to what happened.

"stop laughing! i could've died, you know?" i ask, lowering my head to hide them my blushing face from embarrassment.

"but i bet tobio will help you with cpr." nii-san replies with a teasing tone, pissing me off.

"oh, dear. is it too inappropriate to you, honey? i apologize." kageyama-san says, getting me another glass of water.

"thank you, kageyama-san. ut isn't. i was just... taken aback. forgive me." i apologize, bowing my head slightly onto her.

"why? is tobio not fit with your standards for him to be your boyfriend?" she asks once again, making me shake my head.

"w-well... it's not... impossible." i reply, the tone of my voice lowering with every word.

"as i said, you two would make a cute couple together! aren't i correct, tobio?" she asks her son who's just eating peacefully while my face probably looks like a tomato now because of the blushing.

"hmm? weah, gwuessh sho." he replies with his mouth full, though it was pretty hard to understand.

"okay, i didn't understand anything you said just now." nii-san rolls his eyes.

"parson me, but I'm going to... head out for some fresh air." i say, standing up as i finish my meal, leaving the dining area.

as i was heading out, i heard the three of them chuckle.

i sigh out of relief, smiling as the breeze of the cold air kissed my sensitive skin. damn it. why is this happening to me?
