OIKAWA REO
"kei, what the hell!?" i yell out loud as i felt an insect crawl onto my neck, earning a hysterical laugh from him.
"you should've seen your reaction." he giggles teasingly, removing the insect from my neck, making me roll my eyes.
"idiot. where's yams?" i ask, wearing my backpack.
"he made his way to the gym already. i told him that i'd wait for you to finish changing and so he left first. you were too slow on changing, so i surprised you with a little insect the moment you walked out of the room." he states, laughing.
"please don't do that ever again." i say, trembling, yet it has stopped when the two of us started walking towards the gymnasium.
"are you sure you're going to be okay being in a room where the jerk is, too? won't it be too awkward for you?" he blurts out, making me sigh.
"guess so." i sigh.
the both of us remained silent on the way there, but it's the type of silence where i feel that i'm safe and relaxed. the best silence, perhaps.
"sorry we're late." kei says as we reach the gymnasium, bowing our heads.
"hey, you two. tsukishima, proceed to warming up and we'll start today's practice." daichi commands, earning a tiny 'hai' from kei.
"coach, can i borrow a ball?" i ask.
"y-yeah, sure!" he replies, stuttering.
shrugging, i took a ball and distanced myself away from the group, tossing the ball upwards continuously.
as the team started practicing, i diverted my attention to my own practice, yet my awareness is still in its right nest.
"what in the heck is your problem?" i ask with my eyebrow raised, staring at kageyama when i caught the ball he served just now with my right hand.
he purposely aimed towards me.
"guys, let's all be friends." ukai-san says, chuckling nervously, making me click my tounge and pass the ball towards asahi-san who is about to serve.
"if you want my attention, ask me nicely, not purposely aiming the ball to my face." i glare, shooting the ball i'm holding towards the basket before i left the gym.
"tch, what in the heck is his problem?" i ask myself, rolling my eyes as i let my hair down.
"great, just my luck." i mumble under my breath as i realize who was standing in front of me at the moment.
"reo-chan." she calls out.
me being in a bad mood, i ignored and walked past her, not wanting to start a conversation.
"let's talk." she says, holding onto my arm.
"we have nothing to talk about. let me go." i say, wriggling my arm as i try to release my arm away from her grasp.
"please, lend me at least a few minutes." she pleads.
sighing, i stared at her eyes, giving her a nod.
this better be good.
