THIRD PERSON

"let's have a good game!" all the players yells, bowing down at a 90° angle.

"hey, yacchan! what's up?" reo asks, looking over the court as the players get onto position.

"hi, reo-chan! you see, it's a practice match against dateko, which is quite sudden, as of what i heard." yachi replies, looking over the game.

"i see. need some help on your work, kiyoko-san?" reo asks the older female, smiling at her.

"actually, i still have some unfinished business i need to do, but leaving hitoka-chan here alone will be kinda hard for her so i'm glad you're here." kiyolo replies with a small but sweet smile plastered on her face.

"do you mind watching the game and taking some notes for the records at the same time?" kiyoko asks, directly staring at reo.

"i don't mind at all, kiyoko-san." reo smiles at her.

"alright. i may not be back until after the match, so please take care of our boys." kiyoko says, handing the clipboard over to reo before moving out.

"take care!" reo yells softly at kiyoko before her figure completely disappeared before her eyes.

"that guy is so huge." yachi mumbles under her breath, trembling. with reo noticing it, she chuckled, rubbing yachi's back.

"don't worry. he won't eat you." rei assures the latter, smiling towards her with her eyes closed before focusing on the game.

"kageyama, nice serve!" daichi yells before kageyama serves the ball as per usual, but kageyama's serve has changed, thus leaving it uneasy for the opposing team to receive, which earns the first point for karasuno.

as if on cue, reo jots down on the clipboard, writing kageyama's improvements.

"guve us another good serve, kageyama!" tanaka yells before kageyama serves the ball once again, but this time, sakunami was able to receive it.

though reo is pretty far from karasuno's first year setter, she could feel that he is cursing under his breath after his serve. probably because of the fact that he aimed at dateko's libero, which left her chuckling.

"chance ball!" tanaka yells, receiving the ball and sending it to tobio and tobio sending the ball to hinata, who seems to be unprepared for the toss.

just then, a wall made from aone, futakuchi, and koganegawa jumped to stop hinata from spiking the ball, yet hinata kept unfazed and purposely hit the block, thus made the ball bounce back to karasuno's court.

"got it!" daichi yells, receiving the ball, but it seemed like the ball is on a difficult situation. fortunately, kageyama was able to cover and send it to asahi's position.

the ace gave all his attention to the ball and jumped and it was a cue for dateko to raise their iron wall, but asahi took the chance to get it in and no one from the opposing team received it.

"yeah!" all of them, excluding tsukishima, cheers, though reo noticed tsukishima clenching his hand to a fist and bobbing it back and forth. this gesture made reo hold her laughter in, for she had never seen tsukishima be lowkey excited.

reo jots down on the clipboard once again. she could see that everyone has improved from the summer training camp. she could also see the fact that the team's bond between each other is getting stronger and stronger each day.

aftee a few more serves, receives, tosses, and spikes, the scores were tied up to 23-23. coach ukai gave takeda a sign to call for a time out as dateko kept on winning points, thus catching up to karasuno's score.

"here." yachi and reo says, handing everyone their respective water bottles and their own towels.

"man, dateko sure is tough to beat!" nishiniya says out loud, sighing.

"but we are gonna beat them, man! get your spirits up!" tanaka says, ruffling his fellow second year's hair before the time out has ended.

"kogane, nice serve!" onagawa yells as koganegawa serves the ball.

with the ball landing on karasuno's side, daichi received it easily as per usual, sending it to kageyama.

kageyama pinpointing the ball to hinata, he tossed it perfectly and hinata hit it flawlessly, yet it was received by the opposing team's libero, thus earning a click on the tounge from the freak duo.

"onagawa-san!" sakunami asks for a cover and the said player complied to him, sending the ball to koganegawa.

"futakuchi-san!" koganegawa yells as he tosses the ball to their captain.

"alright!" futakuchi yells, jumping for him to spike the ball. Instinctively, both kageyama and tsukishima jumped for them to block the attack.

as futakuchi spiked the ball, it bounced back to their side of the court, thus earning a point for karaduno, but what shocked everyone, especially reo, is that kageyama is now lying on the floor, unconscious.

"kageyama!?"
