"HOES WAKE THE FUCK UP! IT'S JUNHYUK'S BIRTHDAY SO WE'RE DOING SOMETHING SPECIAL" Seongjun used a frying pan to whack on everyone's room door. But as soon as he reached Junhyuk's, he gave the door a soft knock and headed in to wake the maknae up

"Junhyuk, it's time to wake up...I've got a day planned out ahead for you. Wake up soon okay?" Seongjun give Junhyuk's head a light pat when the younger was tryna sit up.

"Mhm...kay hyung, I'll be out in 10..." Junhyuk responds tiredly as the elder just left the room for him to do his morning routine.

Seongjun headed for the living room to see the other boys sitting there with a cup of milk.

Thinking, he sat down on the other side of the coffee table, taking out his wallet and giving each of them 50,000 won.

Three of them looked at him confusingly as Seongjun spoke,

"Take the money, and distract Junhyuk for the entire day, or well, at least till 10pm+, I'll give you the money, and make sure he doesn't know anything, I'll send you guys the exact location later tonight, just send him there and leave. And when I say leave, come back to the house, do not try stalking us or you'll be in deep fucking shit."

Seongjun threatens as the other three softly discuss the deal among themselves. Eyeing them suspiciously, he sighed and spoke again. "I'll order each of y'all a box of chicken for when y'all get back." And as soon as he said that, all of them answered simultaneously

"DEAL!"

"So Hyukkie, where do you wanna go first, park? Or the arcade?" Seungmin and Minjae tried dragging him around the city, looking at clothes or pointing at random cafés to go to. Huijun was just trailing at the back, looking at the two eldest in embarrassment.

"Mhm...the arcade sounds fun, I've heard they recently got a new game there. Hyungie, you interested?" Junhyuk thought as he mention his ideas out loud.

"Great then, we're going, and Huijun will be paying." Minjae gave Huijun a smile and threw him a small heart before dragging Junhyuk and Seungmin to the arcade.

"Aish, this fucker..." Huijun mumbled as he pick up his pace a little.

"YOOJUNG AHHHH, PLEASE HELP MEEEE" Seongjun decided to drag Yoojung along with preparing something for Junhyuk's birthday.

"God what is it, you're older than me but here you are whining over something minor," Yoojung complained as she continued looking through the catalog for a decent cake.

Both sat in silence while looking through the catalog then Yoojung decides to speak up, "I know you could get something simple. Bet you're gonna prepare an entire table filled with meals, he's gonna gain so much weight after it."

Seongjun slowly looked up to meet Yoojung's eyes, eyes blown wide. Yoojung then realized what she had just said, she gave Seongjun a soft "sorry" before going back to the catalog.

Seongjun let out a soft sigh, trying to find the most suitable cake for Junhyuk.

"Seungminnie hyung, thanks so much for the tteokbokki during lunch and for the new sweater Minjae hyung." Junhyuk smiled with both of the boys responding with a "no problem"

"Hey, I supplied the most of today, why don't a get thanks from you." Huijun pouted. Junhyuk let out a small laugh, giving the pouting boy a small hug.

As they were waking, Junhyuk turned around, wanting to ask them a question, but was quickly cut off by Seungmin.

"I think we should get new hair colours don't you think?" Seungmin smiled sheepishly.

Junhyuk forgetting his main question, asked Seungmin, "Didn't noona say that our scalp was "dying"? "

Minjae put his arms over Junhyuk's shoulder, responding, "Doesn't mean we can't dye our hair again."

Seungmin nodded his head, "Huijun told me he wanted to go back to his black hair, and I've been waiting to get my hair blonde, replacing Minjae as the blonde bitch..."

"Then let's go then, TIME TO GET OUR JUNHYUKKIE A NEW HAIR COLOUR!!"

Seongjun was alone in the kitchen, preparing the food for tonight.

"Hyung, it hurts so much...what did I ever do to them..."

"You've done nothing wrong sweetie...it's fine, don't cry anymore, hyung's here..."

Distracted, Seongjun accidentally cut his fingers, causing him to wince in pain. In panic, he wash his wound and went to get a bandage.

Looking over to his phone, he saw that Minjae had send him a picture, clicking on it to show the full picture of them at the hair salon, probably getting a new hair colour.

Another message came in, but it was a video instead.

The camera turned on showing Minjae, Junhyuk and Seungmin, the camera then turned to Huijun who was currently washing his newly dyed black hair.

Zooming in, he heard Huijun trying to threaten them if they dared zoom into his face. Which caused the other three boys burst into laughter.

Seeing it, Seongjun smiled softly, seeing those he loves being a bunch of crackhead and laughing together makes him feel so lucky to have these four boys by his side.

Replying with a smiley face, he quickly went back to cooking for Junhyuk's dinner.

"Okieee, we're at our last spot of tonight, just walk up there, we were told to leave you alone and get our chicken when we get back home. Enjoy yourself Junhyukkie." Minjae told Junhyuk as the other 2 ruffled his newly dyed hair.

Waving them three good bye, Junhyuk head up the small mountain. It gave him memories of when he was younger. But to be very honest, it wasn't worth much remembering.

When at the top, Seongjun was waiting there for him, there laid out food of different varieties. Giving him a hug and a smile, the both of them sat down at the small table set there.

"Hyuk, how was your day with the boys?" Seongjun ask as he gave the younger a piece of chicken.

"Mhm...it was fine, Seungmin hyung paid for tteokbokki, Minjae got me this cute kitten sweater and Huijun paid for the arcade. And we also got our hair dyes." Junhyuk spoke as he take a bite out of the chicken.

Then they both just ate in silence before Junhyuk ask, "urm...why...here hyung?"

"Don't you remember what happend 2 years ago.." Seongjun said as they look toward the city. It was bright, pretty blinding even, but up above, the stars could easily be seen, each of them sparkling trying to stand out as much as possible.

Junhyuk sighed at the mention of 2 years ago. "Of course I do hyung...how could I forget..."

Clapping noise was heard as 14 (15) year old Junhyuk blew out the candles. Everyone cheering as Junhyuk sliced the cake.

Everyone was happy, enjoying the birthday party until...

"Junhyuk!" His close group of friends called him, and as he turn around. He saw the each of them had their social medias out, ready to post something. Clicking send, everyone received a notification. Pulling out his phone, he looked at what his friends posted. Mortified, Junhyuk just stood there.

Whispers were heard from everyone, talking about the posts. It was too overwhelming for Junhyuk, everything just felt like a whirlpool, drowning him with all the judgemental words and laughter.

And after minutes, everyone just left, leaving Junhyuk all alone on the top of the mountain. Standing on the small platform, he looked into the distance and start crying.

It was saddening, he was there alone till Seongjun appeared after seeing the news on Junhyuk's school account

"Junhyukkie..."

Being ignored, he went toward the younger, slowly putting his arm over him, trying to comfort him as much as possible.

Both of them just stood there, in silence, till Junhyuk turned to Seongjun and put his forehead on the latter's shoulders

Sobs were heard, Junhyuk was crying again, it hurts Seongjun so much to see his dongsaeng cry.

"Hyung, it hurts so much...what did I ever do to them..."

"You've done nothing wrong sweetie...it's fine, don't cry anymore, hyung's here..."

"Hyung...I'm not a mean person right..." Soft sniffles were then heard as Seongjun lifted up Junhyuk's head, patting it softly.

"No you didnt Hyuk-ah, you're the sweetest and nicest person hyung knows, don't listen to them...hyung knows Junhyukkie is the best person in the whole world hm?"

"But then...why.."

More sobbing noises were heard emitting from Junhyuk as they both stood on the platform, with Seongjun trying to comfort poor Junhyuk...

"Two years passed by so fast. Honestly, I wonder how they are doing after that day..." Junhyuk thought as he cut the cake.

Smiling softly, he told Seongjun, "Y'know after this, they posted those things on the social media page, it just felt like everyone was against me, I started feeling that no one was real around me. They were with me ever since kindergarten and they did this to me." Junhyuk bitterly smiled at the thought before slicing another slice of cake for Seongjun.

Seongjun took the cake, and dipped his finger into the icing. Using his other fingers, he pat Junhyuk and as he turned back around, Seongjun smear the icing on his nose.

They both giggled as they ate their cake. Junhyuk spoke again after a soft while of silence, "I wouldn't know where I would be right now if you didn't appear you know...I could have been crying all night alone, my parents wouldn't even notice cause they probably lied about it." Once again, Junhyuk looked up and gave Seongjun a sweet smile.

"Thanks for being here when I need you most hyung..."

Seongjun, being the sweetheart he is, fed Junhyuk some cake, replying, "Of course, Junhyuk, I'll be here for you no matter what..."

As they sat there silently eating cake and making jokes once in a while. It was sweet...but what about the others...

[BONUS SCENE]

"Seongjun hyung is so sweet to Junhyuk, why didn't anyone do something like that for me on my birthday" Huijun whined as Minjae quickly replied to him.

"I'LL DO IT FOR YOU FOR YOUR NEXT BIRTHDAY"

Seungmin, feeling a bit lonely, told Minjae, "Y'know I could also do this for you for your next birthday too Minjae" Seungmin giggled softly as Minjae looked at him with his puppy eyes.

Three of them excitedly talk bout what they wanna have for their next birthday.
