THIRD PERSON
walking down the busy streets of tokyo, tsukishima heaved out a deep sigh, hands on the pocket of his pants as his headphones play ballads that fills his ears with the power of music.
wandering off by evening isn't his thing, but it's an exception as of now because of the fact that he's unable to hit the sheets.
"should i have brought yamaguchi with me?" the blonde asks to himself, roaming his sight around before he shook his head from side-to-side, shaking the thought out of his mind.
"he's tired from all the practice matches today. i shouldn't bother him." he sighs, walking all around town without knowing where he was.
"how dumb of me. why am i wandering around without knowing where i'm headed to?" he asks himself once again under his breath, clicking his tounge after as he realized how dumb he was to wander off on an unfamiliar surrounding.
after a few walks, the blonde stopped dead on his tracks and looked over his left, spotting a convenience store.
"should i stop over for some strawberry shortcake?" he asks himself, unconsciously walking towards the store without him even noticing. he must really like the taste of the dessert.
buying two slices of the said dessert and a bottle of water, he sat on one of the seats outside, digging in.
though he sure was enjoying himself, he starts to think. why does this night seem so lonely?
he pauses with his feast, pulling out the pen he has on his jacket's pocket, carefully caressing it.
sighing, he opened the pen, expecting for a squeaky and small presence appear from his head or his shoulder. however, a few minutes have passed and no one came.
"strange." he says, finishing his meal before heading out.
walking down the streets once again, tsukishima began to think once more. what's going on? why isn't she appearing? did something happen?
questions inside his head kept him preoccupied, yet he's still as sharp as a fox, hearing out a loud yell coming from a corner.
without hesitation at all, the blonde came running towards that direction unconsciously, mentally asking himself why he ran towards the cry.
as the male reached the place, his eyebrows furrowed with the scenario he reached, hands curling into fists.
"what do you think you're doing?" tsukishima asks with an eyebrow raised, slowly walking towards the guys who seems to be bombarding a familiar female with slaps and punches.
"woah, man! who is he!?"
"is he a college student?"
"no, he seems pretty much of a high school student to me. this is nothing! we can totally beat him up!"
"you're right! just look at those arms. they're so slim to begin with!"
tsukishima clicked his tounge and gave the bullies a small smirk, walking towards the female before picking her up with his back.
"have some respect towards women, you cowards. don't you dare lay a finger on this woman right here or i'll be the one to break those limbs of yours with these slim arms of mine." tsukishima says, glaring at the men before leaving with the girl on his back.
"phew, good thing they're not following us or else i'm going to be dead, too." he sighs in relief before he gave the girl a side glance.
"why didn't you tell me this is happening to you, aiko?" he asks, clicking his tounge.
the female shivered in fear, wrapping her arms tightly around the male's neck but is enough for him to breathe, making tsukishima sigh.
"don't tell anyone this ever happened between us. got that?"
with the female answering with a small nod, tsukishima fastens his pace on running back to the place they're staying at with a straight face.
"don't worry. as long as i'm here, i won't let them lay a finger on you ever again."
