THIRD PERSON
a few days has passed by and finally, the training camp has reached its endpoint.
"we did well this time!"
"yeah! we actually did it!"
"luck is by our side the whole week!"
the karasuno volleyball club cheers on their way back to the school, yet the blonde middle blocker only heaved out a sigh, looking over the female sitting beside her.
"this is your doing, isn't it?" he asks, eyes straight forward.
"of course it is! i'm a lucky charm after all, aren't i?" she replies with a wink, lowering her tone on the last sentence so that no one other than tsukishima will hear it.
well, i didn't think that she'll be able to put good luck within the whole team. impressive. he says inside his mind, rolling his eyes.
as he waits for the time to pass, he felt a presence, which was surprisingly light, lean onto his arm.
"what are you doing? get off of me." tsukishima says with an irritated expression plastered on his face.
"oh. sorry. i didn't notice that i did that." aiko replies, rubbing the back of her head.
tsukishima tch'ed at her reply.
the hell is his problem? pft, tchkishima. aiko laughs mentally, leaning her back on her backrest before she rests her head on top of it.
aiko continued to laugh inside her mind, yet stopped as she felt a sharp pang of pain in her head, getting dizzier and dizzier second by second, resulting on having a rapid breathing.
"what the hell is your problem?" tsukishima asks with his eyebrow raised.
"a-ah, it's nothing, tsukishima-kun. don't worry about it." aiko forces a smile, trying hard not to worry the latter.
wait, what am i thinking? of course, he won't bother to worry. aiko mentally rolls her eyes.
"you rarely call me that. it sounds gross when it comes out of your mouth." the male responds as he pushes his glasses back, earning a weak smack from aiko.
"shut up." she says, annoyed.
as soon as tsukishima gave her a shrug, aiko tried extra hard to keep what she feels for herself. she doesn't wanna worry anyone at a time like this.
"look out, ukai-kun!" takeda suddenly yells as he points on an animal that appears to have appeared on the road within a blink.
"why would a deer show up so suddenly and in the middle of the road!?" the coach yells, avoiding the deer.
and there, the chaos started.
"strange. this is literally the middle of nowhere."
"are we lost?"
"ah, kageyama! we're lost!"
"don't cling to me, idiot!"
"no shouting!"
"you're shouting, too, daichi."
tsukishima heaved a very deep sigh before he put his headphones on his ears, wanting to go to sleep over the chaos, not until he heard a very fragile voice whisper near his ear weakly.
"t-tsukishima-kun." she calls out, nearly inaudible.
he gave the female a glance, only noticing her current situation.
her skin is pale and he could see how her eyes beg for help. he could see how the nerves on her temple are pumping faster than a heartbeat he ever heard.
"hey, we're slowing down!"
"we're running out of gas, and rapidly!"
"what!?"
tsukishima finally fished out something out of his bag, yet all he noticed that the female beside him is now unconscious as her head rested on his shoulder.
with panic running up his nerves, he took a glance from the object on his hand, and that's when he noticed what was wrong.
the pen cracked.
