━━━━ scrubstorm vanished for a few days, and this worried gorgestar. thankfully, he turned up a few days later.

━━━━ loachpath announced that she's having kits and won't be moving into the nursery just yet.

━━━━ hawkfern's body was found at the bottom of the peaks, by the rockfall field. his body remained under a pile of collapsed rocks.

the tom—cat died following a rockfall, and was buried alive.

━━━━ stoatclaw's deceased body was found next to a fox den. the warrior had thought back valiantly, his body welted with wounds that proved this.

his body was recovered and taken back to camp for a vigil, and doespots voice cracked with grief as he recalled a number stories about him.

he then wandered into the warriors den, and his paws feel weakened as he soon realised how quickly stoatclaw's scent is fading.

━━━━ locusttree bounded about as he acted out a scene from a moment of play with the kits back in camp, causing swifthawk to laugh at his antics.

a rabbit pushed out of the bushes, startled by the passing cats. the quick moving creature scared the patrol, for a moment, before they pursue it.

━━━━ as the branches of the trees start to shift into a green colour, leopardberry wanders down into the valley to collect some herbs.

oak and elder leaves are gathered, and leopardberry enjoys a quiet walk around the territory.

━━━━ dovesoar dragged browndash on a training session. browndash really didn't want to get out of his nest, he wanted to sleep in more — but dovesoar was persistent with his nagging.

but once browndash was out of camp and in the valley training, he was thankful he tagged along.

dovesoar and browndash practiced how to weave around an opponent, and returned back to camp feeling confident with their teamwork.

━━━━ rain fell steadily from the darkened sky above, casting a dreary pall over squirreldusk and coldbee as they trotted hastily through the rain. their pelts were soaked through, their fur plastered to their sides as they trudged through the frothing mud that began to form underneath them.

the pair found themselves engaged in a playful bout of bickering as they argued about who had caught the biggest prey.

a figure leaped from a bush beside them, and the two bristled their fur with tension. the cats fur was thick and matted, bedraggled from the rain, and their eyes were wide.

❝ please, i offer up my skills in exchange for a place to stay, ❞ the cat choked out.

coldbee and squirreldusk exchanged uncertain looks at one another, before pitching the clan to the cat in front of them.

the strange loner shook his head once the two cats finished talking. he originally liked the idea of perhaps joining, but his mind had since swayed. he dipped his head at them.

❝ thank you, but i think i'll refuse the kind offer. i'm hawkbit, ❞ hawkbit murmured. ❝ i appreciate the hospitality. perhaps we'll bump into one another again some time? ❞

hawkbit vanished into the bushes he emerged from and the patrol quickly continued back to camp, a little confused by their interaction.

━━━━ rattlefleck trailed behind his patrol peers, honeystream and brightstrike, when a clattering of stones sounds below him. rattlefleck looks around wildly as the scree slope above him collapses. rocks tumble on the tom—cat, and in a panicked daze, he tried to scramble out the way.

brightstrike and honeystream realised what had happened, and quickly dig the tom—cat out from under the rocks.

thankfully, rattlefleck is okay.

━━━━ webwhistle approached the medicine cats den, peering inside to see mountainfall pulling apart the herb storage. confused, he approaches her and questions if he can help in any way.

mountainfall nods, asking the warrior to join her on a quick herb patrol.

poopy and catmint are collected.

webwhisper hates to admit it, but he enjoyed his time out of camp on a herb patrol, it was relaxing.

━━━━ gorgestar is relieved that she can continue her duties as a leader, while also still tending to her kits. her body has healed from the strain of having her kits.

━━━━ loachpath is hoping that she'll have a big litter. her growing stomach has prevented her from working properly, and so loachpath decides to move into the nursery, in preparation for her kits to come.

━━━━ geckotooth's bite wound from the bird has healed.

━━━━ mountainfall was moving about some sticks when she received a splinter. it only hurt for a few moments.

━━━━ mudhare's tail was badly wounded by a fox, after he stumbled upon a protective mother and her young kits. he's thankful it was only his tail that was grabbed.

━━━━ doespots remained in the warriors den. the tom—cat hasn't moved from his nest, only leaving to eat and pass dirt.

he's wounded with grief, and wishes for stoatclaw to come back, but he knows that isn't possible.

━━━━ locusttree and honeystream stumbled upon a dog while out training.

it was lingering on hemlockclan's territory, and the pair didn't want to risk anything happening — so they returned back to camp, and alerted gorgestar of the canine.

━━━━ webwhistle smacked his brother across the side of the head, begging for him to join him outside camp for some training.

spiderfur reluctantly joins, cursing at his brother as he was enjoying the dream he was having before he was rudely awoken.

they travel down into the valley and take turns with showing off the skills they learned as apprentices, before getting carried away with a game of chase.

━━━━ duskeyes and almondstripe walked side by side, blabbering away loudly as they walked. in duskeyes jaw dangled a black bird he had caught just moments before.

a muffled sound caught the toms' attention, and they investigated the noise.

a cat sat by the river, staring down at their reflection.

confused, almondstripe stepped closer cautiously and questioned the cat — who then explained that their twolegs abandoned them days ago, after they found out that they were unwell.

duskeyes comforted the stranger, and talked of their clan, offering a place for the cat while they get back on their feet.

the cat is unsure about joining, but accepts the offer.

bearmask joins peakclan.

peakclan's reputation towards outsiders has improved.

━━━━ doespots will always feel his grief, and will always miss his friend. but, time has softened his pain a little.

━━━━ gorgestar was attacked by a large dog while on a patrol with scrubstorm. she pushed herself in front of her mate, not wanting him to be wounded by the canine.

gorgestar was badly injured by the dog, and broke a leg during the attack. she managed to fend off the dog.

━━━━ loachpath's kits have arrived. they look a lot like swifthawk, which has raised some of the clans brows.

daisykit, wheatkit, amberkit and burnetkit are welcomed into peakclan.

━━━━ dandeliontooth is still recovering in the medicine den.

━━━━ nectarnip's wound has healed. he's now able to begin his life as a warrior in peakclan.

━━━━ bearmask's sickness has passed. he joined peakclan having been abandoned after he had fallen ill with whitecough — but is now patrolling the camp in search of things to do, introducing himself to all of the other clan cats.

━━━━ netarnip partook in his first patrol, with cragspark accompanying him. the patrol walked the border as cragspark explained to the new warrior about the boundaries, and why they have to scent mark them regularly.

nectarnip scented an unfamiliar scent. he had already grown accustomed to all of his clan mates and their scents, and this one wasn't a peakclan cat.

boldly, nectarnip followed the scent to find a rogue who had trespassed — and he confronted the cat.

the rogue perched high on a branch and looked down on the warrior, but soon stuttered out an apology before running from the territory.

━━━━ whitepelt and coldbee returned to camp with a rabbit. it moved strangely before it was caught and killed, but the cats still ate it.

whitepelt was poisoned, alongside honeystream, dovesoar and dandeliontooth: who all shared the rabbit with whitepelt.

━━━━ swifthawk saved daisykit from a hawk, after the kit attempted to sneak out of camp. the kit escaped unharmed, but swifthawk was wounded.

━━━━ riddled with impatience, hazelrise hasn't focused on doing any excersise to help his leg heal, and strengthen in. in doing so, hazelrise's leg hasn't healed properly — and has weakened the bone.

hazelrise is otherwise okay, and has returned to his duties as a warrior.

━━━━ a loner waited by the border of the clan. he returned daily, waiting to stumble upon a patrol. he was greeted by scrubstorm, who almost chased him off.

hawkbit introduced himself, and claimed to have met some of the tom's clan members not so long ago.
he requested to join, not wanting to live a life of solitude anymore.

hawkbit joined peakclan as hawkbitflare, joining the ranks as a medicine cat.

━━━━ brightstrike slipped on a rock while trying to show off for the kits. he sprained his paw while doing so, which the kits found amusing.

⛰︎

━━━━ cragspark entered the warriors den, looking for dandeliontooth. scrubstorm had asked for the two of them to patrol the border after a fox had been scented.

cragspark bounded over the empty nests to find the tom—cat curled up in a tight ball. cragspark gently pushed his paw into dandeliontooth.

❝ wake up, lazybones. we have a patrol to go on, ❞ 

dandeliontooth didn't shift, and this worried cragspark. he nudged the cat once again before he jumped over to investigate.

dandeliontooth lay rigid and cold. a frothy white substance pooled around his mouth, and cragspark launched himself out of the warriors den in search of a medicine cat, wailing and yelling as he ran by.

dandeliontooth died in his sleep, from the poisoned food he ingested.

━━━━ hawkbitflare was determined to find some lungwort. he didn't want to run out, as it helped with yellowcough — and with the clan growing quickly, he didn't want to run out.

he persuaded almondstripe and scrubstorm to join him, while he talked about his life as a loner. they were out for hours, but successfully harvested plenty of lungwort.

━━━━ geckotooth and rattlefleck walked to border, and were met with a hemlockclan patrol, who walked their border.

the patrols stop to converse, but hemlockclan seems cold and standoffish. rattlefleck abruptly stops the conversation, worried something may happen, and they part ways.

relations with hemlockclan have worsened.

━━━━ amberkit found and killed a bug. she ate it, but later regretted eating it. it tasted strange.

━━━━ leopardberry's body was found within the clans territory. the medicine cat had left camp to go on a herb patrol, and hadn't returned. this worried the other medicine cats and a patrol was sent out to follow her trail.

the she—cat had been killed, and tufts of fur between her claws indicated another cat had done it.

━━━━ loachpath will always love splitmimic, even if they had been mates for such a short time. she has decided it's time to move on.

━━━━ after noticing that honeystream had been struggling for the last few moons with her patrols and hunting, gorgestar approached the warrior. she explained that no one would think any less of her if she was to retire.

honeystream agreed with what her leader had to say, and retired as an elder.

━━━━ mudhare's tail has healed nicely.

━━━━ dovesoar is no longer sick from the rabbit he ate. his symptoms of poisoning have gone.

sadly, whitepelt died. her body was weakened from the poisoning and she declined rapidly. her brother, browndash, remained by his sisters body as he mourned the loss of his littermate.

━━━━ robinkit is named robinpaw, and given almondstripe as a mentor. the first thing he does is ask if they can hunt, so he can make sure everyone has a full belly.

almondstripe is proud of his enthusiastic he is.

basslight stood before the clan and announced that she won't be with the clan forever, and that it is time that she took on an apprentice. heronkit, now heronpaw, is made the medicine cat apprentice.

daisyknoll watched with pride as kestrelkit is named kestrelpaw, and given hazelrise as a mentor. he knows that hazelrise will be a great mentor to him.

oriolekit is named oriolepaw, and his older brother, webwhistle, is made his mentor.

━━━━ goldrain and coldbee stumble upon a loner who's interested in joining the clan. they banter with the stranger to make them feel at ease.

the patrol didn't have to say much to convince the she—cat, and she called out for her kits.

chasmpoppy joined peakclan, with her kits claykit, hazekit, springkit, whisperkit and avalanchekit.

━━━━ doespots and rabbitneedle slip out of camp to have some time to themselves. they find a nice spot to sun themselves.

they enjoy their time basking in the suns rays, and end up loosing track of time. they quickly gather up some prey to make it look as if they were busy.

━━━━ basslight takes heronpaw out of camp to find some herbs, and teach her apprentice about the differences between herbs.

while walking, basslight teaches heronpaw about how helpful catmint is, and how it can help those who fall sick with a cough, and although it's scent can be pleasurable — that a medicine cat must avoid becoming drawn into its haze.

basslight carefully plucks up some catmint and the patrol returns back to camp.

━━━━ hazelrise is surprised at the fact that kestrelpaw makes a mistake on a simple move that they had been practicing. before he can say anything to his apprentice, kestrelpaw runs back to camp.

hazelrise found his apprentice huddled in his nest, sobbing about how he'll never be ready to be a warrior.
