Sunghoon pov.
I clench my jaw looking at the duo in front of me while tightening my grip on the girl's waist, she seems to be confused at my behaviour.
"Is something wrong, Sunghoon?" Soojin's concerned voice ran through my ears as I sigh heavily, looking at her.
I tried to move on from you, but I failed, Blue. I'm failing miserably.
"I don't feel well, see you around," I say and immediately rushed out of the dance floor, not caring about Soojin's squeals behind me.
Soojin is a nice girl unlike many other fan girls, it's fun to pass times with her, but Yerin is just different.
I pathetically look at the duo again, Yerin seems to enjoy Jungwon's company, the way her footsteps are going messy everytime and Jungwon holds her from falling down before they laugh is the last scene I wanted to see before moving out and coming to a nearby bar.
"A bottle of whiskey," I order with stern voice making the bartender shot my eyes at me.
"A bottle?" he asked again before I glare at him.
"Is my word not clear enough?" gritting my teeth I roll my eyes and tap my fingers on the table, mumbling "Quick."
"Yo man," at the familiar voice of Park Jongseong I dart my gaze at him, who seems to be so satisfied with my action.
"Jay," I fist bump with him and sat on a table together with our drink.
"Why did you order that much?" he chuckles in a teasing way as if he knows something, I let out a sigh and purse my lips.
"I don't feel well," I slip my word out before gulping down the whole glass of whiskey and the other boy laughed out loud.
"Just say that you are mad because your best friend claimed your girl," he smirked playfully and hearing his words a heaviness pressured on my chest making me more frustrated.
"The fuck you are talking about?" I pretend not to care and look somewhere else, and accidentally made eye-contact with her again.
I gulp down the drink again crazily, almost emptying half of the bottle.
"I know you, Sunghoon," this time his tone screamed seriousness making me wanna break down even more. The jealousy and distance is making me more vulnerable that I can't seem not to be bothered about it.
"Why are you sitting here?" he shot a question on me leaning on the table when I look at him confusingly.
"What should I do then?" I tilt my head at him as the other guy lean on the chair this time, his arm at the back of his head, spreading his legs.
"For how much time you are only gonna see everyone touching your girl? Be a man Sunghoon rather than a crybaby because it won't make any progress," I listen to him carefully.
"I tried Jay, but it messed everything up," for the first time I let my inner words out in front of one of my best friend because the pressure became too much to handle anymore.
He hummed and look at me who is busy drinking the alcohol.
"Stop it," he grabs my glass and look at my eyes, his eyes that held an unknown spirit and concern that seem to give me a little bit strength.
"Why are you giving up? If the mess is created, shouldn't you try to clear it up?" he frowns and convinced me as I hear everything.
"I'm sure she doesn’t hate you, you deserve another chance Sunghoon. Go for it," he stood up and gave me a light smile, patting my back.
"Be a real man," was the last thing he said before his figure started to disappear from my eyes as he walks out of sight.
The alcohol messed up my thoughts but I still manage to understood Jay's point, so without thinking twice I stood up and walked towards the dance floor with clicking sounds of my boots.
Loud cheers shattered around as I came to the centre, girls offering me to dance with them but I walk straight with clenched jaw.
My lips curved up into a smirk as I came close to the dancing duo, pushing Jungwon off and sneaking my arm around the girl's waist.
Yerin looked at me in horror but I put my index finger on her lips softly, shushing her. Her gaze softened as my grip tightened around her protectively.
"Hey darling."
