Zachary didn't expect he'd be inside a van watching his sister wait to trace a phone call. He sat beside Ethan eating Cheetos as he watched Kirby type on the computer. He had forgotten how smart she was, he was so busy trying to survive his own tragic life he didn't even remember Kirby had one of her own.

Mindy put her feet up leaning back in her chair as she looked at Kirby. "So we're really doing the phone tracing thing, that never works in the movies, it'll be all "keep him talking Sam, 2 more minutes, I've almost got him" and then he hangs up just before we can get a lock".

Zach smiled softly as he looked at Mindy "don't worry Mindy, this is nothing like the movies. Kirby can trace a call in under 15 seconds. It's quite impressive and makes me wonder where I've gone wrong in my tragic life".

Ethan pushed the Cheeto bag towards him and Zach grabbed a few smiling at the boy. Mindy sighed as she let herself sit up fully, her gaze glaring at Kirby.

"Well you've got them out there as bait" Kirby smiled weakly "because the killer usually calls from somewhere nearby". Zach winced slightly at the awkwardness that hovered in the air.

"And you think they're safe because it's broad daylight in a public place?". Kirby sighed as she looked at Mindy "look I am here okay, and so is Bailey". Zachary pulled something out of his pocket "I have a taser if that makes you feel better Mindy, anyone tries coming in here. ZAP!".

Chad laughed "did you really just say zap?" Zach shrugged his shoulders "it's the noise it makes, beside would you rather I tase you in the dick or I tase someone who's trying to kill us".

Chad threw his hands up "you're right, my bad" Zach smiled as he patted Chad's leg "good, because I totally would've done it, seems fun".

"This is exactly how our uncle Randy died, broad daylight, public place, yanked into a van, stab, stab, stab, no more randy".

Zach looked at Chad then at Ethan the trio all frowning at Mindy's words. Kirby let out a soft hum "huh" she turned looking back at the computer.

"Hey Sam stay frosty out there okay" Sam's voice came through after a second of silence "we're good". It was so silent as they waited for a single call to go through for Sam.

Nothing was happening and it was nerve wracking "anything yet Sam?" the girls sigh could be heard "nothing yet, let's just keep waiting".

Zachary lost track of the time he spent sitting down eating Cheeto after Cheeto. When Ethan went to pass him another one his phone rang and his entire body grew numb as everyone looked at him.

He reached into his pocket with that same contact staring at him. "It's the killer..." he looked at Kirby then at Mindy and Chad, his nerves all over the place.

"Answer it, keep him talking" Zach stood up pushing the door open. He hit the button pressing it against his ear "what do you want? Gonna tell me all the ways you wanna ruin my life?".

"Shame about your secret Zachary, I bet you thought you would've taken it with you to your grave. Did you really think you'd get away with it?".

Zachary let out a weak chuckle as he looked around "is that your best insult? Using my past against me? Yeah I gutted Jill, but who cares? She's dead, and you'll be the next one on my list".

"You think you're some hero! Gonna save your friends? Make everyone around you finally appreciate you? You're a murdered Zach. It's always been in your DNA, one wrong move and you'd kill everyone if you could".

"That's where you're wrong, I'd only be killing you and whoever you're working with. I don't think you understand who you're messing with, you'll be the one dead when this is all over... I'll still be alive and so will all of my friends".

"Not all of them, you're so worried about the ones around you.. you don't even realize how wrong you are about where I am. You really think I'm near you? You aren't on my hit list today, not yet".

Zachary's eyes darkened "I'm gonna kill you, stay the fuck away from Gale". The call ended and Zachary ran, his feet aching as he slipped into the road. He didn't pay attention to the loudness of shouting or the cars he ran past, he just ran.

   Gale had wished life was simple, it felt like clockwork someone was trying to kill her. She couldn't grasp onto any sort of air as blood left her body. Everything on her body burned as she looked at the person hovering over her.

The knife was so close to piercing her flesh, she almost just gave up on fighting back. "Fuck you!" her hands were giving out and the knife got closer and closer to her face.

She cried out and then her eyes widened when she saw Zachary in the shadows. "Zach!..." The knife smacked itself beside her head, the figure above her being grabbed and thrown into the wall.

Gale let out a heavy breath as she watched Zachary throw the killer towards a table before he ran towards her with worry. "Gale! I got here as fast as I could!" She groaned as he helped her stand up.

He groaned when the knife sliced the back of his shoulder, Gale's eyes widened as she was grabbed and thrown back, Zachary screamed when he was pushed into the wall. The figure looked at him as they pressed the knife towards his chest.

He screamed as he pushed against the person but he was weak and he felt the knife start to slowly go into his skin. Gale shouted as she smacked a lamp into the killer's head, Zachary let out a heavy breath as he moved back.

Gale was pushed into the ground by the figure she accepted her fate when they grabbed the knife off the floor.  She closed her eyes waiting for the final blow but then she heard glass breaking. Her eyes burst open and she watched as the knife stabbed into the figures back. Screams of agony ripping out of their lips as they were kicked into the wall.

Zachary pointed the knife at them "stay the fuck back! That was a warning fucker!". The door burst open "Gale!" Sams and Tara's voices were loud and they approached the woman with worry.

Zachary let out a heavy breath "get her out of here! I'll make sure this prick doesn't move" he kept the knife pointed at ghostface. "I got you now asshole, don't even think about trying to leave".
