"He refuses to cooperate with the nurses and doctors, says he doesn't want any help". Sidney Prescott laid down on the hospital bed as she looked at Tatum. "You know why he isn't letting them help, he's blaming himself for what happened".

Tatum sighed "Dewey said he should be in jail for what he did, attacking two police officers, but he let it slide, since Jill was the killer, and because of what happened with Mickey... gosh..".

Tatum smiled sadly "I can't imagine what's he's going through right now, I couldn't even go see him, I could just hear him screaming, it was...".

Sidney smiled sadly "it was heartbreaking, I... I tried seeing him but the nurses said it's best I just wait until he settles down. Which I don't think it's gonna be anytime soon".

Tatum stood up from the chair "he lost everyone he cares about because he couldn't save them... he's gonna beat himself over this for years. Sid, he might not come back from this, he could be sent away for the rest of his life, he'll be stuck inside a hospital and they'll leave him to rot while he slowly loses his fucking mind".

Sidney shock her head "no, we're not letting him go through that! We'll help him like we did last time, he got better with time, you and Randy spent most of it helping at first, but then I helped and I still will, I'll make sure he's okay, that he heals".

Tatum looked at Sidney with a soft smile "I know you'll make sure he's okay Sid, but you don't understand. Corey has been through so much in a matter of days, he found out Jill was a killer! And shit even his own kid! Then when he finally saved his kid from going down the wrong path, he was killed, this is just like last time but worst... the last piece he had of Roman, it's just gone.. that connection was broken the second Mickey died, Corey will never have a part of Roman in his life anymore, this will ruin him forever".

Sidney smiled sadly "this is all my fault... if I hadn't killed Roman, I just wish I could go back and let him kill me, Corey would be so much more happier then he is now".

Tatum sat down "Sidney don't blame yourself, Corey forgave you for what you did, he told you himself he wasn't mad about it anymore".

Sidney sighed "he's gonna hate me even more now, I just know he will.... I don't blame him if he does, I just keep making his life miserable, I'm a monster, one that he can't escape...".

The door opened and Randy walked inside, he held onto cups of coffee. "They let me see Corey, they said he's stopped resisting help, they gave him some medicine to help him calm down. He asked for you Sidney...". Sidney looked surprised by this as he slowly stood up off her bed.

She winced as she held onto her stomach being cautious of her stitches. "I'll take you to him Sid" Tatum placed her hand on the girls back helping her make her way down the hallway.

The hospital was so quiet, Sidney pushed open the door and Tatum smiled at her "I'll be right out here if you need anything". Sidney let out a shaky breath as she closed the door behind her.

"Corey?" the room was dark as she stepped more inside, she approached the bed where he laid. His eyes shut as he let out light breaths. "Oh Corey" she ran her hand along his cheek, pushing his hair back as she smiled down at him.

He smiled weakly "Sid" he leaned into her touch letting out a slow breath as he opened his eyes. She smiled at him "hey, how are you feeling?" he groaned slightly "like I've been hit by a truck".

He sighed sadly as he grabbed a hold of Sidney's hand. "Corey, I'm so sorry, it's my fault... Mickey and Jill, if I hadn't come here, if I just stayed away...". She sighed as she looked down in defeat.

"Sid, it's not your fault.... it's mine. I could've saved Mickey, I should've saved him, if I wasn't such an idiot, I would've known who it was... we could've stopped them before everything happened".

Sidney's grip on Corey's hands tightened "we didn't know Corey, I mean Jill... gosh I can't believe it was her, I have no one left in my family, everyone's dead, they're all just gone".

Corey sat up quickly as he shock his head "hey, you still got me, I'm still here.. I'm not going anywhere, and I sure as shit ain't dying anytime soon".

Sidney smiled "promise?" he nodded as he grinned at her slightly "let's just get married, screw a big fancy wedding, let's just get married, spent a month away from everyone and everything. Then just come home, and pretend our life's are normal".

Sidney laughed lightly "I don't think we'll have have normal life's, not anymore..." she smiled sadly as Corey gripped her cheek.

"Sidney Prescott and Corey Becker Prescott, has a nice ring to it, who cares if they aren't normal people, we'll make our life's normal".

He kissed her, and she wrapped her arms around him. He winced slightly "sorry, I forgot" he laughed lightly "I would've thought being shot again wouldn't hurt as much, but that shit still hurt".

He pushed Sidney's hair behind her ear "We'll be okay won't we? You really think this will be the last time we go through this?". Sidney ran her fingers along Corey's palm "I think, we should just focus on the now, no point in thinking about the future and all the what ifs, and if someone comes for us again in a few years or months or weeks!".

Corey's eyes darkened "we'll kill them, every last one of them, there's no way I'm letting you go through this shit again".

The door clicked open and Tatum walked inside slowly, she looked defeated and devastated as she looked at Sidney and Corey. "Sid, I'm so sorry".

Sidney frowned deeply "Tate, what's wrong?" Tatums eyes widen slightly "you didn't know?". Sidney looked at Corey and the boy shock his head, having no clue what was going on.

Tatum pushed her hand over her mouth as she looked at Sidney. She let out a shaky breath as she walked forward grabbing a hold of Sidney's hands, smiling sadly down at the girl.

"You were pregnant, doctor said it was at least two maybe three weeks, they couldn't save it, Jill when she stabbed you... it must've caused damage".

The room grew silent and Tatum let out a shaky breath as she opened the door "I'll come back, let you two talk...". She left the room and Sidney let out a tiny sob as she pressed her hand over her mouth. Her eyes widen at the news she heard.

Corey was silent, his breathing heavy as he tried to find any words to say. Sidney turned letting out a shaky breath "I forgot, oh my god, I was so caught up in book tour and everything else that I forgot, the first night we were at Jill's house, I took the test, then when you were attacked I completely forgot to check on it, the thought didn't even cross my mind, Jill must've known, oh god I'm such a terrible person, how could I forget something that important".

Corey sat up fully "it's not your fault Sidney, we were all so busy trying to survive, it all happened so sudden and fast, you couldn't have known".

She sighed as she laid down on the bed, Corey wrapped his arms around her. Kissing the top of her head as she pushed her head into his neck.

"We're gonna get through this together, I promise" he held onto her ignoring the ache he felt. This time around he had lost a lot more then last time, all he had now was Sidney, and he'd hold onto her.

Double homicide? sorry bad timing (lol) don't even worry, they'll make another kid eventually. One more chapter left before we get into act five! Utterly excited for that act! It's gonna have a lot of parallels from past acts and it'll feature new characters, plus it'll be Corey's married era, protective uncle/father era. In conclusion he's gonna be slaying (literally). He's just gonna be amazing in the next act, it'll also be the longest act of all of the acts so far, likely have 12 chapters instead of 10 or even more. Act six will be the longest though, roughly 20 or 15 chapters since it'll be the last act, at least for now. Scream 7? Hopefully they make it, if they do I'll add that shit so fast! If they don't, I'll make my own scream 7.
