The drive over to the station was quiet Corey tapped his fingers along the window. His gaze looking over the people passing by and the endless line of cars. "So, why do you think someone's doing all of this? I mean why now?".

Corey sighed "I'm not sure Sid, when I heard about Cotton, part of me was hoping maybe it was just a freak accident. But once the others started dying... you can understand how worried I was".

Sidney parked the car "hey, we're gonna survive this, we always do and there's no way I'm gonna let this fucker beat us". Corey grabbed a hold of her hand "Sid, I won't let anyone hurt you. I promise".

She smiled at him as she opened the door the duo walked inside of the station. Sidney smiled at the sight of Dewey the man running towards her.

He hugged her "what are you doing down here?" She let out a sigh "actually, what was I doing up there?". The man looked at Corey smiling at him "it's nice to see you're alright Dewey, I was worried when I saw the news about Jennifer's house".

"Oh yeah, I'm alright and you know Gale. It'd take a direct hit to take her down". Sidney looked around the building "so the news said this was the precinct, Corey told me about the lead detective on the case, who's this guy Kincaid?".

Dewey gripped Sidney's hand "come here" they stood in the corner whispering to each other as Corey walked into the back. He let out a soft hum and he leaned into the wall.

"Detective Kincaid?" the man turned and frowned at Dewey "there's someone here who wants to help". Sidney walked inside smiling awkwardly, Corey moved away from the wall.

"I'm just here for moral support" Gale smiled brightly "oh my god, Sidney!" the two woman hugged tightly and Sidney smiled "hi, Gale I'm glad you're all right".

Corey hugged the woman next "you look amazing Corey, when's the last time we saw each other". The boy grinned "my wedding, but hey you're a busy woman, and I'm a busy man.. it's the thought that counts these days".

"I keep forgetting to send you my new number, I've been dying to ask you about all of this". Corey sighed "well it's not everyday someone runs around trying to kill us again, the fucker hasn't come for me yet so I'm okay for the time being".

He looked away from Gale now paying attention to the conversation. "Sidney, so you have any idea how he could've gotten your number?".

The woman shock her head as she leaned into the wall for a moment. "He could have monitored her calls on a scanner. Did you call her from set?".

Dewey shock his head "do you have her number stored in your memory?". Dewey frowned and Corey laughed lightly as he patted the man's back.

"He means your phone memory, I can't even remember my own number, I'd be surprised if you knew Sids off the back of your hand".

"Has anyone else ever used your phone?" Dewey blinked "just Jennifer, and you" the man looked annoyed "hey, I'm the cop here. You're in my office, Riley. What about you Mr. Becker, is Sidney's phone number on your phone?".

Corey sighed "I'd be surprised if it still was, we haven't really spoken in two years and I honestly don't remember what it even is".

"Well has anyone ever used your phone? maybe found the number in your memory?". Corey shrugged his shoulders "beats me, I don't really keep an close eye on it much, Roman uses it somethings, for work whenever he forgets his at the house, honestly I don't even think I have it right now, it's probably in my car".

Sidney looked at the wall, her eyes widening at the photos of her mother "the killer leaves a photograph, after each murder".

"They were taken in Hollywood at the same studio they're shooting Stab III". Corey sighed "I recognize a lot of those buildings, perks of working on that set all damn day I guess".

"Why didn't you tell me? This is my mother, Dewey. Why didn't you say something, I would've been down here a lot sooner if I knew".

"I was afraid they were bait Sid. Something to, you know trick you out of hiding". Corey looked closely at the photos "what's with the red residue on the edges of all of these?".

Mark moved forward "I was actually hoping you could tell me what this means, each photo so far has words written on the back. The last we we received had your name written on the back".

"My name? Why didn't any of you mention this to me? What does the other two say?". Dewey looked away from the boy "Dewey? What did the other picture say? If this about me.. I deserve to know".

Dewey sighed "we didn't know what it meant at first, it didn't have a name of meaning until the new one was found. It's a warning, one about you".

Corey frowned "like the killer is gonna come for me? I don't understand". Dewey shock his head "no, it's a warning for everyone else, show him Detective, he needs to see for himself".

The photos were each turned over carefully, the words written in big bolded letters.

Stay away from him...

The first sentence was dripping downwards the last word smudged slightly like it was written in a rush. Corey's gaze looked at the second photo.

I will kill everyone who hurts him...

He frowned deeply letting out a nervous breath as he looked at the last photo. His eyes widen in horror, he felt like he was gonna throw up.

Stay away from Corey Becker...

"Holy shit, you mean this asshole is... killing people because of me?". Mark moved forward "it made sense to me after the fact. Cotton was the first death, and you claimed he had an argument with you the morning of his murder".

Corey's eyes widen "oh god! The day Sarah was killed, she smacked me, went crazy saying I was the killer, blamed Cottons death on me... the next night that's when...".

He gulped nervously "that's when Tom came to my house and punched me in the nose, how haven't I noticed this before? I just thought the killer was going for the crew on stab III".

"We're not quite sure why this is happening, it's likely best you stay close to us, keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior around you".

"Detective, I wanna see this place in the pictures" Sidney grabbed her bag off the chair "are you sure Sid? I mean we can stay here".

"I'm sure, I wanna see it" Corey grabbed his jacket off the chair "I'll go with you, I have to work on a few things on set anyways, left a few of my things in the locker there, gotta clear it out".

ย ย  Corey stepped out of the car "I'll meet you guys back here in a few" Dewey patted the boys shoulder "be careful" the trio walked off and Corey sighed.

He walked off down the set entering the office area, no one was inside aside from a few people packing up their belongings. He passed the prop room going into the back area, he neared his locker.

He unlocked it screaming when piles of blood gushed all over his body. Laughter entered the air as he glared at the people all video taping it.

"What the fuck!" everyone ran off "freak! You don't belong here!" he sighed slamming his locker shut as he leaned into it for support. "Holy shit... Corey!" Roman's voice was loud as he stepped out of his office. Corey wiped the blood off his face walking pass the man "I'm fine just some assholes pulling a prank, nothing I'm not used too".

He stepped into the man's office pressing his hand into his face as the door was pushed shut. "Give me names, I'll make sure they don't get a job after this". Corey turned around "it's fine Roman, I can handle a few asshats. They wreaked my locker... that's the shitty part about all of this, I had Casey's..".

"I cleared your locker out last night, don't worry your sisters things are safe at home. I was working late and I thought why not help you out. So you wouldn't have to come back on set".

Corey sat down not caring if the fake blood got onto the seat. "I should just go home, maybe it was a mistake coming here. Will you be home late?".

"Yeah I have a few more boxes to fill, and then they want me to trash the manuscripts that we never finished, I'll probably just keep them hidden in my desk somewhere, look back at it one day".

Corey smiled "I would kiss you right now, but I doubt you'd wanna taste cheap fake blood". Roman smirked "I'll expect one when I get home later, call me when you get there".

Corey nodded and stood up as he walked out of the office. He ignored the looks he got as he approached the car, he sighed deeply when he didn't see anyone beside it.

"Great, where the hell are they now?" he walked into the set area it was dark making him feel uneasy as he stepped inside. "Sidney?" the girls scream entered the room "Corey help me!".

"Shit!" he ran fast pushing open the door of Sidney's room the girl screamed as the figure ran towards her. "Sidney!" he ran toward the figure tackling them into the ground.

He pushed there hands down smacking the knife into the wall. Sidney yelled when she flew back landing outside of the house onto the ground.

"Let's see who you are asshole" Corey went to grab the mask but yelled when the figure pushed him backwards. His back smacked into the floor and he groaned as the figure hovered over him.

The knife pointing at his face, it didn't move but it was there probably trying to scare him off. The figure tilted there head "I won't kill you Corey".

Corey winced at the voice, the sound of it making memories fall into his ears "Corey, there's some creep on the phone". Corey frowned deeply "I don't understand, why are you doing this!".

The figure laughed lightly "because you're the star of my movie, I'll see you soon". The figure ran away and Corey let out a shaky breath.

authors notes:
when he has both of the siblings folding for him, we love that around here! If I could I'd turn this book into a Roman Bridger fic so fast and just have man's survive! but I can't do that! This is a Sidney fic! And honestly maybe I'll make an AU ending where Roman survives and him and Corey be a power couple! If I do write that it'd likely be after act six aka scream 6. Or maybe I'll make a separate book on it entirely, idk yet.
