the Washington family was cursed, that's what always seemed to linger the air of the lodge. Soft whispers were often heard along the mountains grounds if you listened hard enough. Arlo liked to always believe he could see the sound itself and yet despite his "lame" gifted talents, he ignored the signs.

Ignored the dreams that plagued his skull until nothing was left but black smoke. The ache behind his eyeballs that made him wanna scream, the nagging feeling of death lingering inside his chest. It scratched at his back like broken pieces of chalk desperately trying to write one last time. The signs, written into his flesh like endless warnings.

The same ones he called bullshit every time he would open his eyes. The Washington's weren't cursed, they couldn't be, because if they were why the fuck was he the one seeing their fates. It was like never ending bite marks from a rapid dog that was seeking attention.

He saw the signs, saw the blood and felt the coldness that came after and yet, he didn't stop it. Perhaps with his return to the lodge, he can use his "lame" talents for once and finally stop the so called curse of the Washington's before it's too late.

I swear the Washington family had it rough asf in this game, like where's their happy ending? I'm at least glad in the new version of the game, they added an ending where Josh doesn't have the wendigo ending. I'm glad it was some sort of a good ending for Josh, because literally lost both of his sisters! And best believe I'm giving him a happy ending always! After a few rough days and me working like a lot, which lead to me sleeping away my days lol. I'm finally back on here and can write for once! For this one I'm not even gonna do like a before act, it's all just gonna follow the game and likely be 10ish chapters just like my last until Dawn book. I'm taking my time for this one and trust, once it's complete another one will be out. Anyways enjoy! Also it's 5am, where tf did the time go? I swear my days be going by fast asf.
