Anakin's POV
"Ahsoka what happened here?" Obi-Wan asked as we ran up to her. Her and a few other Jedi were standing outside of one of our conference rooms. All with a look of shock and worry.

She looked to me sadly, "Master Windu is dead."

"What; what the hell happened?" I asked in surprise and she looked to Obi-Wan before looking to me.

"They," She paused for a brief moment and took a deep breathe before continuing, "Master they think it was (y/n)."

"No." I shook my head and backed away, "She didn't do this." I pointed to the room, "It had to have been Palpatine." I know she was upset but to kill Master Windu. No. I couldn't believe that. I refused to believe that.

"Palpatine?" Ahsoka looked confused. I then realized that this was the first time we've seen her since coming back, and she still had no idea that we figured out the truth.

"He's the traitor." Obi-Wan informed her and her eyes went wide.

"You're joking!" She exclaimed with shock, "Why hasn't he been arrested?"

"The council wants to wait, they think it'll be difficult to arrest him without a good plan seeing as he is the Chancellor after all." I sighed, it made sense - but at the same time I just wanted to go over there and lock him up before he could cause any harm.

"Kenobi, Skywalker, you should come see this." Master Plo gestured for us to come in. The first thing I noticed upon our entry was Windu's body on the floor and I did my best not to look at it.

Master Plo gestured to the hologram before playing it for us. I watched in shock over what I was witnessing. What the hell even was this? How did this message go unnoticed?

No, If she saw this then..

I glanced over to Windu.

Maybe she did do it. It killed me to think that she was turning away from the light. But I can't keep ignoring this darkness that was surrounding the force.

I groaned in frustration as I pulled out the tracker I had on her, I just needed to talk to her - to try and get through to her. The tracker was signaling to me that she currently at the Senate building.

I wanted to go to her. But I wanted to go alone, I didn't want her to get scared or feel overwhelmed if Obi-Wan or Ahsoka came along. So I excused myself quietly while the others were locked in a conversation - hoping they wouldn't notice my disappearance.

(y/n)'s POV
"Hello dear how was Ryloth? I hear you were successful." Palpatine stood up with a smile on his face when I entered the room.

"Oh it was great." I smiled back sadistically, "But that's not why I'm here." I walked forward and placed my hands on the back of a chair.

"Then what do I owe for this pleasant visit?" He kept that same smile on his face that I now knew was fake.

"I know who you are, Sidious." I chuckled as I saw his smile disappear. Lida, I mean Rey, told me everything. How Sidious wanted Anakin and was going to use my death to lure him to the dark side and that Dooku was his apprentice before Anakin killed him. All of it was his plan. He organized for me to be kidnapped that night in hopes that Anakin would be forced to kill me.

"Where did you learn that name?" He asked with a low threatening tone.

"From me." Rey came into view. His eyes left me and he glared at her.

"What are you doing?" He sneered at her and she let out a little laugh.

"Protecting her from you of course." She smiled devilishly as his face went from confusion and annoyance to rage and understanding.

"You idiotic child." He snapped as he raised his hand to her. To either choke her or shock her. Either way, I wasn't going to let that happen.

I ignited one of my lightsabers and placed it to his neck, "No no, none of that." I threatened and his eyes looked to the glow of my lightsaber before placing his hand down, "Good boy." I pulled back so I was standing next to Rey in a protective stance.

Reys POV
He was angry. I could feel it and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the feeling of his helplessness.

He knew now what I was doing. How I've been manipulating (y/n) this entire time for my own personal gain and not for him. He glared to me angrily but he knew he couldn't do anything with her here. She was stronger than him and he knew she could crush him especially now that she's allowed herself to be consumed by the dark side.

I still felt a conflicting battle within her but as time passed, the light inside of her was fading. But it wasn't enough for me. Once we were done here I was going to work to make sure she is pushed so far into the dark side that it'll be near impossible to pull her out, much like my brother. I can't have Skywalker coming in and ruining everything.

My plan wasn't just to kill Sidious.. that was only the beginning. But I was going to use her to destroy the Jedi order. She was strong enough to do it. Not that she'd be alone but she'll have me, Maul, and Savage. We were going to burn this place to the ground.

Not today. No, we had a few very important things to do first. And she wasn't ready.

(y/n)'s POV
I felt him. He was getting close to me. He was coming here for me. I groaned in frustration he's the last person I wanted around. "This has been fun, but Rey," I looked to her, "He's coming."

She sighed, "Well then I guess we're gonna have to move along more quickly than I wanted to," she pulled out lightsaber of her own, it glowed a crimson red with double blades, "I originally wanted you to suffer but were pressed for time." She threw the saber toward his heart but he held out his hand and stopped it, it hovered in front of him. She was holding her hand out trying to push it into his chest with the force but he was resisting.

"You think you are stronger than me." He chuckled, but his laugh was cut off instantly when I lifted my hand to join her.  I used the force as well to push against the weapon, causing it to pierce through his chest. His eyes widened and he fell back against the glass window. I called her lightsaber back to me and handed it to her.

"I am." I smiled.

"Thank you." She smiled to me then she walked to Sidious who was seconds from death.

Reys POV
I knelt down next to his ear, "Am I good enough now?" I whispered and his body went limp.

"We gotta go-" (y/n) stopped speaking and I turned to see her eyes on one person standing in the doorway.

"Anakin Skywalker." I stood up to face him, his eyes shifting between (y/n), me, and Palpatines dead body. "Nice to see you alive."

Anakin's POV
"You," My voice seethed with anger, "I knew there was something wrong with you." She didn't look the slightest bit fazed by my comment.

She held a sickening smile on her face.

"Something wrong with me?" She laughed, "That's coming from the guy who made his wife think he was dead and then immediately left her for dead." She shook her head in amusement, "No Skywalker, there's something wrong with you."

My wife.. I looked from her to (y/n) who was glaring at me. Her eyes a deep yellow that caused my heart to almost shatter. I felt the darkness on my way here but now that I'm standing in front of her. She's more far gone that I realized and it was all my fault.

I kept my attention to her, I could still feel a glimmer of light inside her and I know I could reach it, "I'm so sorry for what I did but please baby come back to me. I don't care about anything you've done.We can go now, just me and you." I begged with tears in my eyes and I saw her dark demeanor soften and her eyes fill with sadness. "We can leave the order and go to Naboo. Have children, have everything we could ever want." I reached my hand to her and for a moment I thought I saw her about to reach back.

"Why would she go with a liar like you." Lida(remember he doesn't know her real name just yet.) snapped pulling (y/n)'s attention away from me "Don't listen to him (y/n), you killed Windu. They're going to lock you up in a cage the second you give in, you can't trust anything he says after what he did to you."

Rage fueled me and I pulled my lightsaber out on Lida. She has been manipulatin my wife from the start. "Don't touch her." (y/n) spoke and I felt her shove me against a wall. She walked over to where I landed and towered over me, I looked up into her eyes and the softness had disappeared. She lifted her hand to me and pulled me up with the force by my neck and began to choke me. "Why should I believe anything you say." She growled. The nightmare I wanted to avoid was coming true right in front of me. The pain from the choking was nothing compared to the heartache I felt when she looked at me this way. There was so much hurt and anger in her eyes. She could kill me right now and I wouldn't be mad at her.

"No!" I heard the yell of Ahsoka who brought her lightsaber to (y/n)'s neck. "Let him go." She demanded and (y/n) obliged and released the grip she had on me.

"Annoying child." Lida spat with the wave of her hand causing Ahsoka to fly backwards into Palpatines desk.

"Ahsoka!" I called to her in a weak tone, my throat sore from the choking. I made my way to her to check if she was alright. She was unconscious with a cut on her forehead but other than that she seemed alright. I looked up to where my wife was to see her gone.

I sat and leaned against the desk and pulled my comlink to my lips, "Shes gone." I whispered with heartache to Obi-Wan.

I pulled my knees to my chest and began to sob uncontrollably. The pain I was feeling was the worst I've ever felt. It was like my heart had spilt into two and she walked away with one of the halves. I would never be whole without her.

I refused to believe my girl was completely gone. I wasn't gonna stop until I was dead to get her back. She almost gave in, I saw it in her eyes. So I know she's still in there.

I pulled the tracker out of my pocket and watched as she moved. She hasn't taken the necklace off yet, and I'm hoping it's because she forgot about it. As long as she keeps it on I'll be able to find her wherever she goes.
