48-Deal

Obi-Wans POV
"Master Ti, how is everything going with you and Miss Ari?" I asked the hologram of her on my palm, it's been some time now since they started de-chipping and from what I've been hearing, It's going a lot quicker than we predicted. The second the clones learned about what's inside of them they all agreed  immediately to the surgery. Even the ones who aren't medical clones have taken up learning how to remove them to quicken the process. They all have grown close to us and they would do anything to protect us. And so far none have chosen to leave the war, even though we gave them the opportunity to if they wished to have a life of their own.

"Very well Master Kenobi, if it continues going at this pace then I am confident we will be done by the end of this week. Then you and Skywalker can meet me on Kamino so we can figure out who put them up to this."

"And Jedi (y/l/n)." I added, Anakin told me he finally decided to tell her. Even though it was his idea to keep her in the dark about the plan, but I'm glad he told her, I didn't like keeping something like this from her any more than he did.

"Excellent, the more, the better." She smiled, "I should go, Ari needs me."

"Of course, may the force be with you." I nodded with a smile.

"And with you." She nodded back and ended the hologram.

"Obi are you finished?" Satine knocked on the door of her own bedroom in Padmé's apartment. I had asked her to wait outside while I made the call, I didn't want her accidentally showing up on the hologram.

I opened the door, "Yes, sorry I made you wait out here."  I placed my hand on her cheek and she smiled up at me, showing her pearly whites. "You sure do get more beautiful everyday."

She blushed at my words and I let out a small chuckle, she always blushed so easily, the same as the day I met her.

"This is my padawan learner, Obi-Wan Kenobi." My master Qui-Gon gestured towards me as he introduced me to the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Obi-Wan." She held her hand out with a smile, her beautiful blue eyes gazing into mine.

I grabbed her hand and brought it to my lips and placed a kiss on the back of her hand, while maintaining eye contact, "I assure you, the pleasure is all mine."

Her cheeks grew red and she let out a small giggle and it had to be the most adorable sound I had ever heard.

And from that moment on, my heart has been hers. Never have I loved another and I know I never will. I hate myself for leaving her behind all those years ago. Even after my master had given me his blessing, I felt I had to honor the code above all.

What a hard decision that was but it did bring me to Anakin which isn't something I would ever change. That boy may not know it but he's healed many of my broken pieces. He's always felt like a child to me, my child, I raised him and I couldn't be prouder with who he turned out to be. I love him more than he'll know.

"Happy Birthday Master!" A ten year old Anakin appeared in my quarters with a cake on a tray, that I'm sure he made himself.

"Oh wow this is.." I scanned the monstrosity of a cake before me, it was lop-sided and looked more like a blob of frosting covered in candles, "lovely." I smiled down at him and he grinned happily back with pure excitement at his accomplishment, "If you weren't a Jedi, you could've been a chef." I chuckled as I grabbed the cake from him and set it on my table.

"You think so?" He hopped on a chair and pulled up in front of the cake, his eyes scanning it with pride.

"I think you can do anything you set your mind to." I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"I love you Master Obi." He beamed up at me, this was the first time he's ever told me this. And it was the greatest birthday gift I could have asked for.

"I love you too Anakin." I bent down and placed a kiss on his forehead. Attachment, love, all of this was forbidden. But I didn't care anymore.

"Can you light the candles with your lightsaber?" He bounced happily in the chair.
(not sure if this is possible but I thought it was cute and something little Anakin would say.)

"Only if you don't tell Master Yoda."

"Deal."

I wasn't meant to be with Satine then because Anakin needed me, but now he's living his own life and my time with Satine is finally here.
(I cried writing this cause I thought of the ending Revenge of the Sith and they both deserved better 🥺)

"Come on." She grabbed my hand to lead me out of the room, "I made dinner for us."

(y/n)'s POV
It was the day of the party. It was starting in a few hours and I've managed to stay away from both Anakin and the Princess all afternoon. I felt bad knowing he was in pain from me avoiding him but I just needed time.

I was currently getting ready for it with Ahsoka in my room, the room she helped me put back together. I told her everything and she understood why I was so upset and she also blamed the Princess not Anakin. She knew he wouldn't betray me like that. "You have to talk to him eventually you know." She told me as she was helping me into the blue dress that was left for me on my bed, courtesy of Prince Adam. "He really thinks you're gonna divorce him or something."

I sighed, "Of course he would go as far as to think something as stupid as that." She zipped up the back and I held in my breathe, it was a little tight for my liking but it was beautiful.

"You know how he is," she rolled her eyes as she used her hands to spin me around so she can see how it looks. Her eyes yes scanned me and a huge smile crossed her lips. "You look so beautiful!" She squealed with excitement.

"Really?" I walked over to the mirror to gaze at the dress and she was right, it was stunning, and I looked amazing.

"Absolutely, you'll definitely pass for a Princess, more than the actual Princess." She chuckled and I joined in her laughter.

"Thanks Ahsoka and you can tell him that we'll talk after the mission. And please get the divorce thing out of his head, that's never gonna happen." I sighed with an eye roll. I wasn't as mad as I was before but the image of him and her still burns inside my mind at random times of the day which brings the anger back. I'll feel better once we're out of this castle and off this planet.

"You know I will," she went for the door, "by the way, they put me as a server so I can move around the room freely without looking suspicious. So if you need me just tap on a glass three times."

Anakin's POV
It was time for the party and I was t dressed up like everyone else. I was till in my black robes, just as the King instructed I stay in. I haven't seen (y/n) all day, she's been avoiding me which I understand. I would be just as angry if I saw a man kissing her, wether it was her who initiated it or not.

I can't wait for this assignment to be over so her and I can leave and put all of this behind us.

I scanned the room of guests and I could see Ahsoka with a drink tray walking around the room. Her disguise was perfect, she could have her eyes and ears everywhere. She winked at me before turning into a crowd. I couldn't see my wife though, she hasn't come yet, nor has the prince. I was told they were going to appear together. I sighed and leaned against the wall.

A few moments later the hall door opened revealing the prince and... oh my force. She looked stunning, the dress was perfect on her, she was breathtaking. I had to resist the urge to run to her, I wanted to hug her, to kiss her, I just wanted to hold her. Her eyes scanned around the room until they met mine. She only looked at me for a few seconds before I saw her face wrinkle with disgust then she broke eye contact with me and followed the prince to the dance floor.

(y/n)'s POV
I looked into his his eyes and for a moment all the anger washed away from me. I wanted to run to him, I missed him. But then I saw her standing a few feet directly behind him in conversation with some of the guests, but I saw her eyes linger towards him a few times. I was disgusted by the sight of her so I turned my head away to follow the prince, I needed to focus on the mission and not let my personal feelings affect it.

The prince pulled me into a dancing position, one hand on my hip and the other intertwined with mine as I placed my feet hand on his shoulder. "Do you think they'll actually show up?" He spoke low as we danced around the floor, guests were watching us but some joined in and danced around us.

"I think they will." I didn't look to him, instead I scanned the room to see if anyone or anything felt out of place.

"If they don't, you might have to stay longer." He smirked and broke away from me so he could twirl me in a circle before pulling me back near me. I mentally rolled my eyes but kept a smile on my face.

"Let's hope it doesn't have to come to that."  I tried to not sound rude so I wouldn't offend him. But the idea of spending more time here was nauseating.

He chuckled, "Do you not like it here?" He continued to twirl me around the room and for a moment my eyes landed behind him, on my husband. Who was watching us with an uncomfortable expression.

"It's not that," I looked back to the prince, "I just prefer my home over anywhere else."

He nodded, "I can understand that," He stopped  the dancing and ushered me off the floor, "Let's get a drink." He pulled me the end of the ballroom where there was a table meant for members of the royal family. He pulled out a chair for me and I took a seat. He sat right next to me and handed me a glass that was already on the table.

"Thank you." I accepted the glass and chugged it, I was on duty but I was stressed, I needed this, sue me.

He chuckled at me, "I like a girl who can drink." He placed a hand on my knee and I tapped my glass three times. Almost immediately Ahsoka appeared.

"Would you like a-oops!" She 'accidentally' dropped a glass of champagne on the Prince and he yelped while standing up and grabbing a napkin to dab the now wet area on her shirt. She winked at me as the prince was silently cursing as he continued to clean himself. "So sorry." She shrugged and walked away.

"Why do I get the feeling she did that on purpose." He mumbled as he sat back down on the chair.

"She's just clumsy sometimes." I let out a small chuckle, she's amazing.

He didn't make another advance towards me, I suspected he was getting the hint. After a few moments of light conversation there was a blaring sound coming from outside, "what the hell is that?"

"There has been a breech in the castle!" A deep voice shouted to fill the hall, immediately people started shouting in fear.

"They're here." Adam stood up and I stood up with him.

"Anakin and Ahsoka can handle it, come on I was told to take you to a safe room." I grabbed his hand and he followed me as I exited the ballroom from a side door. The King had walked me through this same hall to the safe room he had set up for when the people decided to show up. I punched in the key code that was given me and pulled him inside. I shut the door behind us and heard the door lock electronically.

He sighed from behind me, "I'm suppose to become King one day and here I am hiding while my people could be in danger."

"You can't be a King if you're dead." I reminded him and he stayed silent. I kept my ear to the door listening for anything, I would occasionally hear footsteps running through the halls.

"How long do we have to be in here?" He questioned breaking our silence.

"Until someone comes to get us." I rolled my eyes with my back to him so he couldn't see.

I started to hear someone punching on the key pad and I backed away from the door so they wouldn't hit me when it opened. The door swung open and I expected it to be Anakin or even the King but was surprised to see a man with a blaster to Ahsokas head. "Let her go." I demanded about to reach for my lightsabers I had hidden under my dress.

He pushed the gun tighter against her temple, "I wouldn't do that if I were you." I stopped my movement.

Anakin. I called to my husband.

"Ready Adam?" The man said as he looked behind me.

My face wrinkled in confusion, "What?" I went to turn to face Adam but was hit over the head with a hard object knocking me unconscious.

Anakin's POV
Anakin. I heard her voice in my head. I wanted to respond right away but became distracted when a man started shooting at me. I deflected the blasts and one of them hit his shoulder, knocking him to the ground. The ballroom was empty of guests now and we had five, no six, men on the floor with their hands on their heads as the castle guards began arresting them.

Are you okay?

I didn't get a response.

(y/n)?

Nothing. I had a bad feeling about this. I scanned around the room and couldn't find Ahsoka either. And she had said she was going to follow (y/n).

Something must have happened to them. I almost to began to panic but I knew they were alive still, I could feel them. But they felt far from the castle. Someone must have taken them.

Luckily, I knew exactly how to find them.

(a/n Hope you enjoyed this one! Please let me know what you thought of Obi-Wans POV, I hope I did a good job of it! I will be posting again later today. Thank you so much for reading♥️)
