Anakin's POV
I awoke to the sound of my com going off. (Y/n) stirred underneath my arm, probably annoyed by the sound. I brought it up to me, "What is it?" I spoke low so I wouldn't disturb her.

"Get here now." Ari's voice came through and by her tone I knew it was serious.

"On my way." I responded and I looked down to my half asleep wife who was eyeing me curiously.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine." I caressed her cheek, "But I gotta go check on Echo."

She whined and tightened her grip around me.

I chuckled softly, "I know, I wanna stay here too but it's important that I go."

She groaned in annoyance, "Hurry back."

"You know I will." I pressed my lips softly to hers and she grabbed ahold of my shirt and pulled me closer to deepen the kiss. She finally let go and broke away from me. I sighed, I wished for nothing more than to be with her all day and have no distractions. One day... one day when we're finished with the order we will have the life we want.

I pulled away from her and she rolled over to go back to sleep.

I left the room and made my way to the medical ward. I entered the room to see Ari pacing back and forth as Echo and Rex are staring at the screen. All their heads snapped to me when they noticed me walk in.

"Turns out Echo isn't as insane as we thought he was."

"Sure about this are you?" Master Yoda questioned me with cornered eyes. The news I just brought to the council about what lies inside of our clones has caused tension in the room.

I nodded, "Yes, Ari found the evidence inside of Rex's inhibitor chip."

"I've brought it with me." She stepped forward from behind me holding a small hand held computer with the chip intact inside.

"Show us." Yoda nodded towards her so she could continue.

She brought the display up as a hologram that projected from the computer and she explained in detail everything she found about an 'Order 66'. The council members began to murmur amongst themselves in concern and fear.

Master Yoda sighed, "Disturbing this is. A plot to destroy the Jedi it seems to be."

"What do you propose we do about this?" Obi-Wan leaned forward so his eye contact could meet with Yoda's.

"I think we should incinerate all the clones, they are a clear threat to us." Master Windu spoke up before Master Yoda could.

"No," I interjected in disbelief at his harsh solution, these men were our friends and they didn't ask for any of this, "We are still in a war and we are as good as dead if we get rid of our entire army."

"Have a plan do you?" Yoda eyed me curiously.

I nodded, "We remove the chips from every clone." This was the best option, the safest option.

Master Windu scoffed, "Do we even have that kind of time?"

"I don't know but it's the best solution we have. Ari here is a trusted friend, I think we should have her remove the chips from all the nurse clones first. Then she can teach them how to remove them so they can work through the rest." This way all our friends live and it might even be done quicker than having just one person do each clone. I would call on another engineer but there isn't anyone else I feel is trustworthy. Someone is behind this plot, making everyone outside of this room a suspect, besides Ahsoka and (y/n). I felt a wave of sadness at the thought of Ahsoka, she still hadn't returned and I'm growing more restless each minute. I shook the thoughts away from my head and tried to focus on the main problem in front of me, "I also think we should send a transmission to Kamino to stop our clone production. We need to make sure they aren't suspicious of us though, something tells me they knew of this plot the entire time. But we can't confront them until all our clones are free of their chips, we don't want them tipping off whoever is behind this and have them activate the order."

"I hate to say this but I think it's a good plan, we keep our army and eliminate the threat." Master Windu agreed with me graciously and I felt a small feeling of triumph that I got the man who loathes me to finally agree with me for once. "The one thing that concerns me is those chips are the very things that keep our clones in line, how do we know they won't run off the second their chips are removed?"

"If I may speak sir," Rex who was standing back against the wall walked closer so he was now standing on my left. Master Windu nodded for him to continue, "I admit it feels different to have the chip removed, I do feel I'm able to think for myself freely now. But I can assure you, the loyalty I have always had remains the same. I will continue to fight along General Skywalker just as I have been, that hasn't changed." I smiled at him, he was a good friend and I knew I could never have any doubts about him.

The council seemed pleased with his words of reassurance. We all developed friendships with our clones and its those friendships that will keep them by our sides.

The rest of the council members spoke up by agreeing with the plan to remove the chips and we all agreed to not tell anyone outside of this room besides the clones.

"Very careful we must be in who we trust." Master Yoda frowned with a gloomy sigh. "Start at once you must." His eyes flickered to Ari who nodded abruptly.

"I will make travel arrangements for you to our medical stations on other planets and I will also be accompanying you." Master Ti stood from her seat to walked to Ari and placed a hand on her shoulder, "I can keep you safe in case anyone finds out what were up to." Ari smiled up at the tall totruga woman.

They both exited the council room and after a small conversation with Master Yoda about what we plan to do once it's deemed safe to confront the people of Kamino, Obi-Wan and I both left the council chambers together.

"I haven't been able to talk to you since you got back from Mandalore, how is Satine doing?" I asked him as we both walked side by side down the red carpeted hallways.

"She's adjusting, but she's lost everyone and everything so I think it will be some time before she feels a sense of normality." My master sighed with empathy for his love.

"At least she has you." I smiled and patted him on the back.

"I know but I'm afraid I won't be enough," He spoke with a somber tone, "I should go check on her, I left her to sleep in my quarters until I could find a more suitable space for her."

I smirked, "Just have her stay with you."

He rolled his eyes, "You and (y/n) might be reckless and somehow get away with it but I won't take that chance."

I nodded with a chuckle, "Call Padme then, you can have Satine stay with her for now."

"Good idea."

(y/n)'s POV
I woke up to the sound of the door opening and I slowly opened my eyes to see my handsome husband enter the room. "Took you long enough." I stretched and sat up on the bed.

He chuckled, "Sorry, I ran into Obi-Wan." He kicked off his shoes and pulled off his shirt to reveal his amazing abs. Force how is it possible for someone to be so gorgeous. My eyes stay fixated on his godlike perfection, I'm pretty sure I was drooling but too entranced to even care.

"You know you're my wife right?" He smirked, "You can do more than just stare."

I felt butterflies in my stomach as he crawled in next to me and placed a kiss on my lips. I brought my hands up to his face and pulled him closer to deepen our connection.

I heard a small whimper escape his lips as my hands trailed along his stomach, leading down to his pants. I undid them and used my foot to push them down so he was only in his boxers. He broke our contact and pushed me onto my back. He got on top of me and placed kisses on my neck. My skin feeling like it was on fire with every touch. I moaned as his hand trailed every inch of my body.

His mechanical hand squeezed my thigh roughly, but the good kind of rough. He then brought his hand up slowly lifting my night gown so he could pull it up over my head, to reveal my bare chest and underwear. I moaned as he brought his lips back to me and trailed small kissing along my chest area and going down to my stomach. "You're so beautiful." He spoke low, his voice filled with lust as he continued to kiss along my panty line. He took both of his hands and removed my underwear, causing me to be fully nude. His eyes filled with lust as he looked over every inch of me.

"Come here." I demanded and his eyes flickered to mine with a smirk.

"Yes ma'am." He brought his head back to me and I placed a kiss on his lips. He pulled away momentarily and I whined at the loss of contact as he stared lovingly into my eyes, "I love you (y/n)." He placed his forehead against mine and one hand rested gently on my neck, our eye contact never breaking.

"I love you too Ani." I whispered, the butterflies in my stomach have yet to stop. I was overcome by my feelings for him. I'd do anything for this man, anything.

"I can't live without you," He closed his eyes and I heard his voice crack as his emotions took over, "Please don't ever leave me."

"I'd rather die than leave you." I wrapped my hands in his hair and pulled his lips back to mine. He kissed me back passionately and we got lost in this moment, a moment I wished would last forever.

"There's something you should know." Anakin sighed as he was putting his clothes back on and I pulled my night gown back over my head.

"What is it?" I sat on the bed and he came up next to me, his eyes filled with sadness.

"Ahsoka is missing." His gaze dropped to the floor. "she's been missing since Felucia."

My eyes widened, "What?!" I jumped up off the bed and stared down at him, "And youre barely telling me now?!" I shouted, I was furious and I was scared. Ahsoka and I have gotten closer since she's been back. She was like a sister to me and for him to not tell me that's she's been missing for almost two days was enough for me to want to slap him. I didn't but oh my force I wanted to.

"I'm sorry but I thought you should rest, you looked exhausted when you came back." He looked up to me apologetically.

"Rest isn't even close to being as important as Ahsoka." I snapped, "We're going to find her." I walked to the closet and started to pull out my robes.

"You think I haven't tried to find her?" He stood up his voice growing louder as he was becoming frustrated. "There's nothing we can do but wait and hope she comes home." I spun around and glared at him.

"That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard," I rolled my eyes.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Who is it?" Anakin shouted without looking away from me.

"It's me." Obi-Wans muffled voice came through the door.

"Come in." My husband turned to face the door as it opened.

"You might wanna come and see this," his eyes flickered between Anakin and I, "Both of you."

We followed him to the ship dock and that's when we saw numerous people and younglings clustered together. Our eyes scanned the area for Ahsoka, Obi-Wan told us that Master Plo said she was here.
As soon as someone moved out of the way we saw her talking standing by the entrance of a ship talking to a Wookiee.

"Ahsoka!" We both shouted simultaneously as we rushed to her. Anakin instantly pulled her into a hug causing her to groan as the wind was knocked out of her.

"Anakin let her breathe." I chuckled. He let go of her and I pulled her into a hug as well but I was more gentle. "I'm so happy you're okay." I whispered into her ear and her hug around me tightened.

We broke our embrace and her tear filled eyes shifted between us both, "Thanks to your training Master, I was able to make it back alive but I can't say the same for some. These creatures took me from Felucia and set me and others free onto an island, only to hunt us down for sport." She wiped tears that escaped her eyes, I felt so sorry for her that must have been a lot for her to handle.

"I'm so sorry Ahsoka I never should have let you out of my sight." Anakin squeezed his shoulder, his heart aching for his padawan.

"No it's not your fault," she shook her head, "But I found something out, my taking wasn't at random. I heard the men talking, someone paid them to take me."

Anakin and I both shared the same confused look before turning our attention back to her. "Do you know who?" I questioned, who could have a grudge against someone as sweet as her. Unless it was the separatists? But then why would they target a padawan and not someone of higher rank. That just doesn't make sense, it had to have been someone with a personal vendetta against her.

"Yes and no," She sighed, "I heard a name but it's not a name I know, Rey."

"Rey?" Anakin searched his mind for anyone by that name but he was coming up blank. I did the same but I didn't know anyone with that name either.

"We'll find out whoever it was, I promise you. And from now on you stay in our sights, we don't want to lose you again." I rubbed her arm softly in a way to comfort her.

"I understand that you both care but the last thing I want is to be treated like a youngling." She sighed depressingly.

"I have a solution for that, it's the same thing I did for (y/n). How do you feel about a tracker?" He smiled innocently.

"If it means you're not going to baby me and allow things to go back to normal then I'm in skyguy." She grinned happily and Anakin grinned back. One moment him and I were arguing about her and now she's here in front of us.

I felt bad for snapping at him the way I did, I know he had no ill intentions and was only looking out for me. I'm glad he did because he was right, she made her way back on her own. If he had told me when I first showed up that she was missing I'd probably be another planet right now tirelessly searching for her.

"Hey I'm sorry I snapped at you." I apologized as we were walking down the hallway with Ahsoka and Obi-Wan walking ahead of us in conversation.

"It's okay, I understand you were worried about her." He smiled down at me, his blue eyes sparkling in the light.

"I was and I still am, until we find out who had her taken. It has to be someone personal." I pulled my brows together as I looked away from him in thought.

"I agree, if it was the separatists they would have taken someone with higher rank not a padawan." He spoke the same words that went through my head only moments ago.
