Anakin's POV
"Come with me." (y/n) pulled me away from Obi-Wan and Padme who were sat at a table outside in deep conversation about politics. It's only been an hour since I've made her my wife and we were having a small 'reception' with just us four and the droids. Which was perfect, this small group are the only ones who truly matter.

She led me into the house and sat with me on the couch, she had a guilty look on her face as she stared at the floor. "What is it?" I asked her and her eyes looked up from the ground to meet mine.

"I have something to tell you and I'm sorry I never told you earlier but I promised a friend I wouldn't say anything." She gave me an apologetic look, "But I'm your wife now and I don't want to keep anything from you." I could tell by her expression she was nervous so I placed my hand on hers.

"It's okay, whatever it is, I promise I won't be upset." I assured her and she allowed a small smile to appear on her lips.

"It's about the security holograms from the prison, I told you that it was me that took them but that was a lie, it was Lida." She confessed and I grew confused, how did Lida know to take them.. what was she doing at the prison in the first place? Was she following her?

"Why was she at the prison?" I questioned.

"She said when she wasn't working at the temple that she also worked at the prison, voluntarily, and she said when she saw me on the holograms she decided to take them. To protect me." Something about that wasn't adding up for me, I've known Lida a long time and she has never once mentioned working at the prison. "She said she trusted me and she knew I wouldn't have done what I did without a good reason so she wanted to help me. But she asked me not to tell anyone so please don't let her know I told you." She pleaded.

(y/n) loved Lida and trusted her. Although I had my suspicions, I was going to keep it to myself. I could be wrong because I do have a habit of being over protective. I wasn't going to say anything until I had a legitimate reason to doubt Lida's friendship. I was just going to have to look into the prison job once we got home, because something tells me Lida is lying. "Well it's a good thing she was there," I put on a smile for my wife, the last thing I wanted to do was upset her by questioning the actions of one of her best friends, "Thank you for being honest with me and I promise I won't tell her you told me."

"Thank you." She smiled as her eyes stared into mine. I leaned in and placed a kiss on her lips, which she returned. I felt butterflies the moment my lips met hers, I couldn't believe she was my wife.

I pulled away and stood up, holding my hand out for hers, "Come on Mrs.Skywalker let's get back to our friends." I smirked.

She placed her hand in mine and stood up, "Mrs.Skywalker, I really like the sound of that." She pulled on my arm to lead me outside.

"Anakin!" Obi-Wan called  to me as we walked back outside. I just received word from the council that Viceroy Gunray has been taken into custody, Padme is safe."

I sighed with relief that Padme was now no longer in danger but then I looked to my wife, "What about (y/n)?" I asked him.

"We threatened to send troops to Byss if he didn't comply with our request to remove the bounty and we received word that he has. But the council still does not trust him, King Scholath is a ruthless man. We have been told we could all return to Coruscant but they suggested that (y/n) has someone to watch over her for awhile as a precaution." His eyes shifted from (y/n) to me, "I volunteered you and the council agreed if you're willing to accept." He chuckled knowing fully that I would accept.

A smirk grew on my lips, "Of course I accept." I placed an arm around my wife and I pulled her closer to me, she giggled as she wrapped her arms around me and placed a kiss to my lips.

"I told them you would, we return home tomorrow." He informed us.

"Perfect," Padme clapped her hands together as she looked at Obi-Wan, "I'll have you set up in one of the extra bedrooms for the night."

"Thank you Padme and please make sure it's nowhere near theirs." He pointed to (y/n) and I and we all laughed besides her who stood there blushing. She was so adorable, I pinched her cheek and she whacked my hand away playfully.

"Good idea." She smirked as she took a sip from her wine glass.

(y/n)'s POV
It was time for bed, Obi-Wan and Padme both went to their rooms and Anakin and I just walked into ours. Anakin closed the door behind him and walked up to me, placing his hands on my hips, "You are so beautiful." He placed his lips to mine softly and I returned it. Our lips moved in sync as he walked me backwards towards the bed. He stopped moving and parted his lips from mine and I whimpered at the loss of contact. He didn't say anything to me, he stared into my eyes as cupped my cheek.

"What's wrong?" I questioned becoming confused that he was so silent.

"Nothing," he smiled as he used his thumb to gently trail against my lips, "I'm just taking in this moment, I've never been more happy than I am right now."

"Neither have I," I kissed the hand that was against my cheek without breaking eye contact causing his smile to grow wider, "Help me get this dress off." I fluttered my lashes at him.

"Yes Mrs.Skywalker," his smile turned into a smirk as he gestured for me to turn around. I turned around and he undid the zipper for me, causing the dress to fall to the floor.

"Thank you, Mr.Skywalker." I turned around to face him and his eyes were trailing my exposed body.

"How did I get so lucky?" He wrapped his arms around my waist and looked lovingly into my eyes, he brought his lips to mine and we kissed passionately as my hands were tangled into his curls. I was so in love and so was he, I could feel the love behind his kiss.

He picked me up with ease and I wrapped my legs around his waist and he sat on the bed so I was straddling him. I ran my hands under his shirt and lifted it, removing his clothing. I gently pushed against his bare chest so he was laying on the bed and I brought my head down bringing my lips back to his.

The next morning we were all packed, we said goodbye to Anna, who thankfully was feeling a lot better, and Eric. We boarded the ship we came on but not before I took one last glance at the lake house to take in its beauty. I was going to really miss it here, I hoped one day I got to come back. I felt a hand join mine, "We'll come back." I glanced up to see Anakin looking at the lake house just as I was.

"I hope so." I sighed and he looked down and met my eyes.

"Come on, time to go home." He gently pulled me onto the ship and I followed behind him.

We arrived to Coruscant. I wasn't as excited as I felt I should have been. On Naboo I was able to be free with Anakin, not have a worry in the galaxy about people learning about our secret. Now I do, we had to be careful so no one would find out about our marriage. I wore my ring around my neck with my crystal and Anakin is wearing his around his neck as well. I felt a wave of anxiety go through me as our ramp lowered and we were met by Master Yoda, Master Windu, and Master Shaak Ti.

"Glad to see you safe, we are." Yoda smiled up at us.

"Thank you Master Yoda." Padme spoke before I could and we bowed to him.

"Skywalker, agreed to the assignment have you?" He turned to Anakin who nodded.

"Yes Master, I will keep my eye on her for a few days until the council feels she's no longer in danger." He informed him and Yoda seemed pleased.

"It shouldn't be for too long, we just don't believe the King of Byss is to be trusted. We need to make sure there really is no longer a threat to your life (y/n)." Shaak Ti addressed me respectfully.

"I understand Master Ti. I don't believe he is to be trusted either, from what I learned he is a vile and stubborn man." I grimaced at the thought of him. "I wouldn't be surprised if he lied about revoking the bounty."

"Once all is done, how do you feel about working with a battalion ?" Master Windu spoke to me and my eyes widened slightly. This is the first time he's ever spoken to me where it hasn't been some type of rude remark. "That is, if you feel ready for it." He tilted his head as he eyed me, waiting for a response.

"Yes I do Master Windu, I would love to work with a battalion." I responded and he nodded.

"Good, once you are deemed safe, you will be switching off from working with the 501st under Skywalker's command and the 212th under Kenobi's command, at least until we decide if there is another place for you." He told me and I did my best to hide my excitement. On the outside I was calm as a cucumber but on the inside I was jumping up and down and doing cartwheels. I was going to get to be with Anakin and Obi-Wan! I could feel Anakin's happiness and relief radiating off of him next to me, knowing I was going to be safe with him or our master.

"Thank you Master." I smiled, he nodded and looked away from me.

"We shall leave you four to settle back in." Master Ti smiled at us and we all thanked her and the other two masters with her.

I hugged Padme goodbye and Obi-Wan offered to escort her to the senate building, which she graciously accepted.

Anakin and I walked down the halls of the temple. Both of us resisting the urge to hold hands. I know he was just as frustrated as I was to be back here. We reached his room and as soon as the door closed behind us we dropped our luggage to the floor and brought our lips together. Knowing we weren't going to be able to do this as much as we wanted, made us want to do it anytime we got the chance.

After a few moments our lips parted and I heard an unfamiliar voice, "Well that was unexpected." Our eyes widened and we turned our attention to the small girl that we didn't notice when we came in standing in the corner.

"Ahsoka?!"
