ONE MONTH LATER
It's been a month since I've begun training to be a Jedi. I would see Master Yoda about 3 times a week so he could talk to me about my progress. He believes Ive exceeded all expectations and couldn't be prouder. I was given a new robes and I chose black to match with Anakin, which he loved.

My relationship with him couldn't be better either. We would sneak off every once in awhile to have secret make-out sessions and Obi-Wan would go around the temple looking for us like we were two teenagers. He found us in a supply closet a few times and would always sigh and pull me back to my training. Poor guy. Although we owe him a lot to allow us to be together and not tell the council.

My friendship with Obi-Wan has also improved, he's become like an older brother to me, or even a father figure, and he helped me mediate through my nightmares. I still have them sometimes but they're not as bad as they used to be, I'm able to get through them without them affecting my emotions.

As for the people in the temple, most of them have accepted me. Lida took awhile to warm up to me because she felt afraid of who I turned out to be. But eventually things began to be like they used to. I was spending a lot of time with her and Padme, if I wasn't with Anakin or in training. They became my best friends and are fully aware of my relationship with Anakin. They swore they would never tell another soul.

So here I am now in the Jedi Council room as master Yoda declared me a Jedi knight. I was surprised at how early this was happening, I expected it to be another month, at least. But the council was very impressed with my progress and they believed I was ready. Besides Windu of course who still loathed me and hasn't spoken a single word to me since the day I joined.

"Thank you Master Yoda." I beamed, excited for my new life, my new opportunity.

"Proud of you, I am." He nodded and walked towards the rest of the council members who were engaging in a conversation.

"I'm proud of you too," I heard a familiar voice behind me and I turned to see Anakin with his beautiful smile on his lips, he walked closer to me and brought his mouth to my ear, "What do you say we celebrate and go to our favorite little supply closet?"he pulled away with a smirk.

I chuckled and I felt a blush rise to my cheeks, "You don't have to ask me twice."

Just as we were about to leave for the door we heard the voice of our master, "And where do you two think you're going?" We both slowly turned around looking guilty to Obi-Wan who had his arms crossed over his chest with his eyebrows raised.

I awkwardly scratched the back of my neck, "Um to the library.. to read."

Anakin snorted next to me trying hold in a laugh at my terrible lie. Obi-Wan shook his head and sighed, "How you were a spy, I will never know. You're lying is terrible." I shrugged in response, I don't know how I pulled it off either.

"Come on Obi-Wan do you really need to ask where we're going?" Anakin smirked.

Obi-Wan sighed again. I'm pretty sure in this past month he has sighed more times than anyone will in a lifetime. It's like we're his two annoying children, "Sorry to ruin you're fun but I have just been informed that the council has a mission for us."

My eyes widened, "My first Jedi mission?!" I squealed excitedly causing myself to get the attention of a few people in the room.

He chuckled, "Yes to Naboo. We need to pick up a prisoner, Nuvo Vindi." I recognized the name to be a separatist scientist. He's the one who created the memory serum. "There's word he's created a virus that is fatal to all species."

"If anyone can create something that horrible, it's definitely him." I cautioned.

"You know him?" Anakin asked me and I nodded slightly.

"Not personally but I do know of him, he's the one who created the memory serum." I saw Anakins face fall a little as he remembered the day we almost killed each other. I stroked his arm to comfort him and I saw him smile.

"When do we leave?" Anakin questioned Obi-Wan.

"Ten minutes."

10 MINUTES LATER
I pull onto the Jedi cruiser with a suitcase in my hand and BD-1 hanging onto my shoulder. Both Obi-Wan and Anakin were giving me a funny look. "What?" I questioned.

"We'll be gone two days at the most," Anakin laughed, "Why does it look like you've packed for a week?"

"Because I," I dropped my heavy bag to the floor and it made a loud thud causing Obi-Wan to jump slightly, "Like to be prepared for anything." I flashed a huge smile which caused Anakin to smile back.

"You're adorable," He gave me a quick peck on the cheek and Obi-Wan fake gagged. Rex and Fives joined us on the ship, they were coming as a precaution, although we believe this mission should go smoothly.

"Time to go, take your seats." He said as he flipped switches on the control panel. We  obliged and BD-1 jumped from my shoulder to run to R2 who was at the back of the cockpit .

BD has really taken a liking to him and would always want to sit on top of his head. R2 would occasionally spin his head in a circle to make BD squeal with excitement. They were like big brother and little brother, it was a cute sight that warmed my heart.

After a few hours we landed on Naboo and were greeted by the Queen Jamillia. "Welcome, it's good to see you again Anakin, Obi-Wan, and.." she trailed off as she looked at me, "I'm sorry I don't believe we've met."

"It's lovely to meet you your highness, I'm Jedi knight (y/n) (y/l/n)." I smiled as I bowed and she nodded.

"Nice to meet you as well." She smiled back then turned her attention to Obi-Wan, "I'll take you to the prisoner."

Anakin told Rex and Fives to explore the area where Vindi was found to see if there's anything he left behind, any clues at all to tell us where this man put the virus.

We followed her as she took us to the dungeons of the palace, "I figured I'd keep him here under high security than a prison where he could easily be broken out of. No where on Naboo is more secure than this palace." She led us down a corridor till we were met with the separatist scientist.

"Three Jedi just for me? I'm flattered." He leaned on the bars as he eyed each of us.

We ignored him and Obi-Wan asked the queen if she had a place to be used for interrogation. She had her guards take out Nuvo Vindi and lead him to a room at the end of the hall, there was one table in there with five chairs all around, "You can use this room."

"Thank you very much Queen Jamillia." I told her and we all bowed as the guards set the scientist in a chair and chained him to the handles. They all left the room so it was just us and the evil man.

We all took chairs to sit across from him and he glared at each of us. BD-1 stayed on R2 who was sat next to Anakin.

"I guess I'll go first," Obi-Wan starts to break the silence, "There's word going around that you've created a virus to kill all species. Is this true?"

"Maybe I did and maybe I didn't." He replied with a smirk.

"You will tell us Vindi." My boyfriend tried to use the force but the scientist just laughed at us.

"Jedi scum, like I would tell you anything. The people I work for are a lot more scarier than you."

"Who could you possibly work for? Dooku is dead." I question, someone took over after Dookus death but we haven't seemed to find out who it was yet. He glared at me and I saw realization in his eyes.

"Izdaja?" He chuckled, "I've only seen you in holograms, you're more beautiful in person. Turned to the Jedi have you? What a shame, you had so much potential."He shook his head and I could feel Anakin become angry next to me and I placed a hand on his knee to calm him down. I felt him relax with my touch. I wasn't going to let this man get to either of us, all he wants is a reaction and we're not gonna give it to him.

Before I could respond we heard Rex on Anakins comlink, "General Skywalker."

Without breaking his eye contact with Vindi he brought his com to his mouth, "What is it Rex?"

"We think we found something, one of you should come check it out."

Obi-Wan stood up to go and I stopped him, "No I'll go, I feel like me being here is a distraction because of my history." He nodded in understanding. I didn't want Vindi to make anymore comments about me, not only will it start to upset me but also Anakin.

"I'll go with you." Anakin stood up.

"No, it could be nothing and Obi-Wan needs you here. You two together will be able to get the information we need. I won't be long." I assured him and he reluctantly nodded and sat back down as I headed for the door. "Come with me BD" my droid hopped off R2 and climb onto my shoulder.

"Be seeing you (y/n)," Vindi chuckled, "Or not."
I ignored him and exited the room.

I activated my comlink to communicate with Rex, "Rex it's (y/n) send me your location."

I reached the location that was given to me by Rex and I spotted the two troopers standing over something and staring at the ground. "Okay boys what did you find?"

"We're not sure Sir." Fives answered and he tapped his foot on the floor and instead of the sound of the soft dirt and grass, it was a loud clanking sound.

"Metal?" I bent down and knocked on the ground to feel a hard metal surface. I used my hand to pull at the grass and there was a metal hatch hidden underneath. "Let's check it out boys." I pulled on the handle and opened it to reveal a ladder going down underground.

"I'll go first to make sure it's safe." Rex offered, "Last thing I need is General Skywalker having our heads if we come back without you." He and fives both chuckled.

I was surprised at what he said, they didn't know did they? "I'm sure he'd be upset if any of us didn't come back, not just me."

"Not as upset if it were you, he made it very clear to us to always protect you." Fives responded and I looked to the ground a little embarrassed that I started blushing.

"Okay Rex go ahead then." I ordered and he nodded going down the ladder.

"It looks to be some kind of lab!" We heard him shout so Fives, BD, and I quickly followed in after him.
(Quick note, I took this idea from the blue shadow virus episode of clone wars but I'm making it a bit different. For those of you who have seen it the lab isn't like in the show, it's small and one room and the only exit and entrance is from the hatch. It's about the size of an average sized living room. Just wanted you all to have a visual!)

As soon as we were all in the lab we could see journals scattered all over a table and chemicals neatly placed on shelves in color coordination. "This must be where he cooks up everything." Rex says as he ran his gloved hand along the journals.

"Okay boys let's find anything in those journals that has to do with a fatal virus." I command and they both nodded as we dug ourselves into the books. I glanced over to see BD picking up a vial, "And you don't touch anything, you don't know what's in those." He beeped and placed the vial down slowly before running to me.

Anakin's POV
I rolled my eyes and leaned back in my chair, we weren't getting anywhere with this guy. I just wish I'd gone with (y/n) she's been gone for fifteen minutes and I already miss her.

A beeping sound filled the room and Obi-Wan and I both look at our comlink s only to see the beeping wasn't coming from us but from Vindi. He held a smirk but didn't say anything.

"Anakin."

"On it." I got up and walked to Vindi to check where the beeping was coming from and I found a small device in his pocket. "What is this?" I questioned him.

"Just a little security measure." He shrugged.

"For?" Obi-Wan questioned and the man laughed.

"I'm guessing your little friends found my lab, it's a real shame. I happened to quite like (y/n), that is her name right?" He continued to laugh and I slammed my hand down on the table which startled him.

"What did you do?" I almost shouted.

"That virus you all are so afraid of, will fill that lab within the next couple of seconds if I don't put in my security clearance."

I placed the device in-front of him but the second I did, it turned off. "Seems your a little late Skywalker."

I began to panic as I brought up my comlink, "(y/n) come in."

"Yes Anakin?" I heard her voice and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Get out of that lab now!"

"How did yo- oh no."

(y/n)'s POV
"How did yo- oh no" The hatch that we left open closed on its own and a blue smoke started coming out of a vent on the floor.

"What happened are you okay!?" I heard Anakin through my comlink he sounded just as scared as I was feeling.

Rex began to cough as the smoke filled the room, "Anakin what is going on?" I began to cough as well.

"It's the virus it's in the room, I swear I will get you out of there and find an antidote and everything will be okay." His voice was shaky and I could tell he wanted to cry.

I slammed my fist against the wall in frustration. Fives and Rex sat on the floor and they were breathing heavy the virus taking a toll on them and I could feel it in me too, "I don't know if we'll last that long Anakin." My voice cracked and I heard a small whimper coming from the com.

"Just hold on for me."

I sat on the floor as my body started to feel weak and my eyes got heavy. Bd-1 beeped sadly next to me as he sat on my lap and he used his foot to poke at me to keep me awake.

And we thought this mission was gonna be easy.
